Description
In the ancient war of light and dark, there are those who side with heaven and those who side with hell. Light and Darkness eternal in conflict with one another. In service to those powers, for good or ill regardless of sides, there are the Umbra Witches and Lumen Sages. However, unknown to many... there is a third sect that is less known but strong enough that could overturn the balance of both. A wildcard element that governs the power of time and fate itself. The Trinity-- also known as the Moirae. Some are chosen by fate itself to wield its power, or those freely choose this lesser-known path for walking a path less traveled. Whatever their reason, they grow in power unbound by the laws of the world-known.
At a young age, Temperance wandered around the catacombs of the Umbra Witches and got lost. In her search to return home, she discovered the ancient shrine of three goddess figures in worship together-- being the hidden shrine of the Moirae or Fates said to govern power over the past, present and future. They were a force that even the gods feared and respected. One who said to practice and master the 'wildcard' arts of the Fates has the power to steal the future as their own. For her, her magic is a guide on a quest to steal the future for herself and all the possibilities it holds.
Plot Abilities:
•That old Black Magic...: Temperance is a Witch and she wears that title with pride. As such, magic is in her blood and soul. She learned how to cast spells with mere words and a point of her finger. She can do minor changes, summoning food, objects, change objects, and people into things, temporarily. She may use this for non-combative means as she sees fit. Requires OOC permission to use on others. Though her spells may not always go as planned...
•Probablility Manipulation: Much like her power over luck, she has a strong sense of luck in her actions depending on her emotions and mood. With a positive attitude, things just always go her way. With OOC permission from others in a topic, she can influence the probability of events to work in her favor in a non-combat situation.
Abilities:
•Eidolons of The Tarot: Many Umbra Witches had traded their souls for allegiance with a number of demonic familiars. However, Temperance choosed a path that treasured her soul. Her study and dedication to the Tarot and Fate magic-- allowed her to find a series of spirits tied to the same source. Tarot Eidolons-- spirits neither divine nor demonic that answers the call of the Tarot exclusively. Temperance gains access to 5 summoning spells accessible separately from her magic from D to S.
•"Luck's not a Magic Power!" "Yes, it is.": At a young age, Temperance/Selina had been clutzy or put down as being a 'jinx'. It caused a lot of dismay and cruel treatment as a kid from other kids. However, her aunts and Umbra Sisters, discovered she was not cursed. She was able to manipulate luck on a quantum scale-- influenced by her own emotional state. Temperance can utilize all the luck in an area to change circumstances in her favor in the form of a Burst-range/speed/ defensive good-luck-field that bends harmful effects away from her as a last line of defense. The defensive shield is S rank durability and after expired, after 10 posts max, takes 1 post cooldown to recover. In addition, she can utilize the luck in the same way for a Burst-range/speed/ S rank spell damage caused by events that start small, then snowball up to become a massive attack of devastating results around her or situations to work in her favor. Duration of damage spell is 1 post. Cooldown is 4 posts. Circumstances for both effects require OOC permission.
•Five-Finger Discount: As a master thief of magic, Temperance has been able to amass great treasures and goods. She wears the title of super-thief proudly as she had accomplished many heists and made a great wealth of her exploits. Upon completing a mission, Temperance receives 100% more jewel from rewards, in addition to the item received from the mission as well.
•The Fates Blessing: Between dedication to the Tarot, she received the blessings of the Moirae. As a result, Temperance can now own an additional signature for each magic.
•Witch's Familiars: A witch isn't complete without her trusty companion black cat-- or in some cases a crew of them. With a bond between companions or allies, she can have more help in the field. Temperance can have 1 more pet present in a topic in addition. Also, pets own by Temperance allow 2 extra techniques of the same rank as owner up to rank S.
