- Erik Holmgeirr, also referred to as Cap’n Erik by most people, is an ambitious and greedy man who dreams of conquering and exploring the oceans of the world as an infamous pirate - pillaging towns and ships as he pleases. Possessing an almost immeasurable and insatiable amount of greed, he craves money, women, status, fame, eternal life, and everything else in this world. Erik is quite lecherous - enjoying having a beautiful woman or women to keep him warm at night. In conjunction with his fondness of the ladies, Erik loves to eat and drink. To the extent, he is considered a glutton and a drunk. Erik recognizes himself as human trash, who only knows how to follow his baser instincts.
Erik Holmgeirr is a man of outlandish bravado. His wild and courageous nature is almost uncontrollable with only a few people, being able to change his mind once he has started something. He also takes to perform a task with show-offish, daring acts that seem reckless and inconsistent with common sense. It is due to this that he causes fear in his enemies and awe in those who serve him. He is a charismatic figure to his men. In spite of his grand bravado, Erik Holmgeirr is an intelligent man underneath it all. He understands when he is outmatched by an individual, or he is unable to handle a particular situation. So, he is not afraid to run or sail away to live and fight another day.
Erik is a somewhat compassionate individual as well. While he is a pirate and takes what he wants without any consideration for others, he will spare the lives of those who show no resistance. However, he will make an example out of those who resist or fight back. It matters not to him the gender, age, or race of those stand up to him, either. He is also kind to his men and those who work with him - offering them a drink or a good meal. More so out of the fact, he views them as his possessions, and he needs to take care of them properly. Out of all of the treasures that Erik values, the one thing that he values the most is his freedom. The freedom to do what he wants. The freedom to choose what he wants. It is because of this fact that Erik can act like a hypocrite - mocking something at one point and then disliking it the next.
When it comes to fighting, Erik generally takes a more brute force method simply powering through most fights with strength alone. He is not above using dirty tricks or tactics either - cheap shots, poisoning, or sniping. After all, when it comes to a battle the most important thing is to win, and come out with most of his men alive. Chivalry and honor are for the knights and the dead.

- +Chivalry And Duty: Mostly, Erik detests these two words since they seem to cause people to do idiotic things. For example, not taking out an unarmed or unaware opponent when you can do it and make your life a lot easier, or a person risking their life and losing because of some duty that they were saddled with by another person. If the word duty is to be used, Erik believes the only obligation a person has is to be themselves.
+Bounded Individuals: Erik loathes individuals who are defined by things such as bloodlines and honor. This extends to individuals who perform 'evil' actions because their ancestors were criminals, among other things. The path a person follows should be one that they choose of their own accord.
