Job Title: Fiddler on the Roof
Rank: C
Category: Normal
Job Location: Cedar
Solo Word Count: 1,000
Group Word Count: 2,000
Additional Requirements: N/A
Job Description: As of late, a town-crier has been yelling off of the highest roof in order to wake people up and alert them to the local festivities that are taking place. Since things have been going on for some time now, parents of all ages have been having a hard time with their children waking up early from all the yelling outside, while insomniacs have also been having a hard time getting any sleep at all. As it turned out, the people have gone to the local authorities and to the town-crier in order to get him to either stop entirely or at least to start yelling an hour or two later. However, as this would impact when certain stores opened and would reduce the number of people being up and about, thus reducing the income of the festival, all pleas have fallen on deaf ears. Someone needs to go against the authorities and see to it that the town-crier is silenced or "talked to". At the end of the day, the people just want their peace and quiet to return so they can get some rest, and it is up to the mage to see to it.
Enemies: Optional. Since the focus of this job is the town-crier, who happens to be working for the local mayor, there is a chance that he will be guarded well when on the job. It is also established that he has the backing of the authorities, making the time and place for the actions of the mage in question quite important. Unless someone wants to take on an entire town's worth of guards, some subtlety might be in order.
Reward: 20,000 jewel.
