Which was his downfall but restored his mind after being defeated by the god Tudigong and from that point he was buried in stone. Gangting lost most of his arrogance after his downfall but still, some see himself as (a lesser) god. He does still want to reclaim his kingdom and save everyone from demons and other monsters. He did try to retake his kingdom, alone and that was his mistake. He died at steps of his palace, so close to victory. It was Johann learned of his death and found a way to bring him back from Hell. Death had taught Gangting a lesson and it changed him. He knows he is not invincible and needs others to retake his kingdom. He will henceforth make more allies and even joined a guild. Gangting was from a young age a very capable warrior and commander. Thus, he had not a lot of people who gave him commands, therefore he doesn’t listen to other’s that well except when people give him advise, then he might follow up on it. A second reason for not following others is because he studied under a war god of strategy and tactics. This gave him the feeling that none other on earth would be as a good commander as him. Gangting has fought many battles, on his own, with a small army fighting skirmishes or with a massive armies’ in epic battles and long sieges. Gangting is large and fast with kicking but he is very cumbersome. So, he won’t always hit his target. He mostly goes on a rampage against the enemy destroying anything in his path if he can hit them. Gangting can get blinded by his berserker rage and then lose the difference between his foes and friends. This can lead to massive loses on his own side. That doesn’t really sound like the type that can lead an army effectively. But he does. He uses his Earth Demon Sense’s to feel the vibrations in the ground to make a visual sketch of the surrounding from miles of his position. Thus, he is able to know what the best position for his army is and he can feel where the enemy army is and roughly the size of it. This gives him a huge advantage.  Of course, he has also studied under the war god of strategy and tactics which has given him the knowledge on of the art of war. Of course, he grew too arrogant to realise that there some who are better as him and that is one of his weaknesses. Likes: Natural rock formations: He loves looking at natural rock formations and tries to remember them so he could make them himself one day for fun or during battle. Desert and mountain creature's: Gangting has a love for anything that has to do with mountains and deserts so he loves those that inhabit them as well. Fighting: Gangting loves to fight and love's to wage war. This has to do with the fact that he was militarised at a young age. Dislikes: Demons and Dragons: Gangting hate's Demons and Dragons because they have terrorised his village for ages. He fought against them when he was young and later when he had become a Demon Slayer. His Demon Slayer nature gave him, even more, hate towards demons, like natural hate between the mongoose and the cobra. Modern Transportation: Gangting isn't used to these methods of transport and gets motion sickness. He prefers transport with a chariot or by horse. Vegetables: He simply doesn't like green food, it's for his food. It's the food for cattle that he eats, as simple as that. Motivations: Tribal culture: Gangting is from a small tribe and village and deeply cares about everyone in it. They all need each other in the harsh environment they live in to survive. Militarism: He is trained from a young age to be a warrior and have a warrior’s mindset thus, he never gives up and always goes on where others stop. Stubborn: Gangting is as stubborn as a gigantic boulder when he wants to do something he does it and if something is in his way he will make a way. Fears: The destruction of his tribe: Gangting is afraid that his village but this eventually happened. Flying or high heights: Gangting doesn’t like to be far away from the ground, if he shoots himself off towards the enemy it’s all right but too much time spent in the air or away from the ground terrifies him because he will feel powerless. Being powerless: Gangting doesn’t want to feel powerless. He wants to be able to do something when he needs to and he will very worthless if he can’t do anything. Personality:

Gangting was born as farmer and warrior, bearing the name Qiang. This history of his made him a peculiar king, as he was everything except pampered and mannered at all. He was a warrior through and through, and any vanity he has come from his achievements, not by his ancestors. He treats his friends as equals, without regard to rank or social status. The giant hates demons and is embroiled into a life-long war against them, guided by Tudigong; the chief-god among the pantheon of gods he worships. Gangting is a religious fanatic, who believes that he is the champion of Tudigong upon earth. It was Tudigong who gifted Gangting his powers and by the mandate of Tudigong he ascertained his kingdom and began cleansing the world of demons.

Traits:
ΩStubborn – Gangting is as stubborn as a mountain, you won’t change his mind easily and requires as much dedication as to climb the zenith of a mountain.
ΩHotblooded – Gangting is quick to anger, erupting like a volcano.
ΩWarrior – Gangting is born in a society where he was raised as a warrior, he has not the discipline of a soldier and does not always listen to orders but charges headlong into the fray.
ΩCommander – A thousand battles have been won under Gangting’s command, he is seasoned by his experience and knows how to win wars. Although he is a commander, he is certainly not the greatest that has ever lived as he mostly won the wars through his magic and the blessing of Tudigong. He nearly commands as he fights himself, simple intimidate the enemy and smash their resistance to smithereens.
ΩRoyalty – Gangting is a king, although exiled, he still expects certain respect. However, he is not fond of all the fancy etiquettes the monarchs of the current era seem to insist on.

Likes:
ΩStone – Gangting has a love for stone and minerals, perhaps something to do with his earth slayer magic.
ΩEating – Gangting is quite glutenous, he consumes tonnes of food and drinks.
ΩFighting – There is nothing better in the world than to feel the high of adrenaline kick in when fighting; Gangting is an innate warrior.

Dislikes:
ΩDemons – A dislike for demons is put to mildly, every fibre within Gangting hates and despises these wretched beings.
ΩWater – Gangting doesn’t like water.
ΩVegetables – Prey animals eat green stuff, predators eat meat; that says enough.

Motivations:
ΩLiberation of Duoshang – To reconquer the ancient city of Duoshang, the capital of Gangting’s fast empire, is Gangting’s goal. It is not only his wish but also Tudigong’s wish, to see Duoshang and its empire flourish once more.
ΩTo serve Tudigong – Gangting is a fanatic follower of Tudigong, particularly after his transgression which he seeks to rectify by acting out Tudigong’s will.
ΩRegaining strength – Gangting has been severely weakened by his entombment for thousands of years, after his war against Tudigong, and his failed crusade to reconquer Duoshang; he seeks to regain his former strength, or to surpass it.

Fears:
ΩWraith of Tudigong – Gangting has once, in a state of madness, waged a war against Tudigong and was punished for his actions; never again.
ΩDemonic desolation – It is Tudigong’s and Gangting’s shared fear that demons will one day bring about a desolation that will wipe out much of life, all that remains will suffer slavery under the demonic throngs from pits of Hell.  
ΩAway from earth – Gangting has a fear of travelling by boat, land vehicle or anything with flight. He cannot use his magic far away from soil and rock and he will get sick when travelling by those means. Only his trusty chariot and his horse are valid means of transportation, besides his own two legs.

Over his shoulders hangs a heavy cloak of crimson, trimmed with the golden fur of desert foxes.
