We like our fun and we never fight, you can't dance and stay uptight
It's a supernatural delight, everybody was dancin' in the moonlight

"Oh my gosh! This is super cute, I love it!" Nessa proclaimed loudly as she eyed her reflection in her compact. She had just enjoyed a glass of 'Razzle Dazzle', a tall cocktail glass of rainbow coloured alcohol. And now she knew why, as she eyed the rainbow colour highlights that streaked her hair, she found herself delighted by this little magical tweak. "Amazing! And delicious too, can I try something else?" She asked eagerly, swinging side to side on the stall outside of the vendors stall.
At the moment, she was out on her own for the Urban Nights event. After hours of deliberating over who to invite, she had given up on the mental gymnastics and decided to head out solo. Because despite being her boyfriend, she sincerely doubted that Markus would enjoy the event and since the faux wedding, she had been apprehensive to invite him to things that she didn't think he would enjoy. The last thing she wanted was to end up fighting with him again, it was easier just to avoid such troubles. As for the rest of her friendslist, well she just didn't want to bother anyone. Things were... weird right now. The Starlight Maiden often found herself overthinking any social scenarios, people were either too busy or didn't seem interested. At least, this was what she found herself internalizing. It was... incredibly lonely.
But what could she do, stay in like a sad sap and let Rex think she was vulnerable. That simply wasn't an option, fake it until you make it right? So that's what she had decided to do, slipping into some party attire including a bright yellow crop top, flat cap, amber shades and denim shorts. She and her strappy heels had hit the streets of Magnolia and thrown herself into the party scene, waving at the familiar faces of magnolia but never really engaging. The white-haired girl had found her way to a barstool, after grabbing a menu she had ordered the first thing she had seen without a second thought. And so, her violet eyes watched eagerly as the bartender prepared her another cocktail, and then another, and another, and so on. How many was that now? She couldn't remember, but as the mysterious concoctions eased their way into her system she found herself feeling better. Much better!
She sipped on another tall fruity cocktail, suckling the straw idly as she pulled up out her white and pink iLac. Scrolling through it idly, she would found a selfie she had taken with the other strangers at the bar. When had she taken a selfie? She wondered, forgetting that only ten minutes earlier she had begged the bar vendor to take it for her. Shrugging, she posted it onto her Lacbook page, showing off her rainbow streaks and celebrating the event with a perky status. It seemed that everything was blurring together at this point, the drinks were very tasty and went down perhaps a little too easily. She wished Markus was here to enjoy these drinks with her, but he didn't have an iLac. Contacting him wasn't so easy these days, and it was perhaps one of the irks of their relationship that she, when sober, chose to ignore. His refusal to step into the age of modern-day technology and communication, was it so bad to just want to text her beau?
She sighed audibly, the strangers that had been sat with her had all scurried off to dance, meaning she was now sat at the bar by herself. Alone, again. "You know what! Screw dat! Pah!" She barked loudly all of a sudden, scrolling onto her contacts, she found the name of someone fun, someone who would enjoy this event. He would enjoy this event right? Eh, Who cared! It was worth a shot. The phone would ring and she would hear the pause of answer; "Looooooooouuuuuuu, HIIII! Issa me, Nesssssssaaaah! You should come to pardaaaay, Urban Nights babey woot woot!" She crooned down the phone, "I betta see your snacc attacc butt here prontoooo, kaaay? Don't be no lame-o! Toooodle pip~" And with that she hung up, satisfied with her invite, she would order herself another drink as she waited to see if the blonde would show up. Gosh, how she hoped he would show up.
