Personality:

Shut out: Salem is one who does not like to stay in company of many other people. As he is the kid that would rather be by himself sitting in the corner while all of the other little kids are running around and having fun. This is because Salem is not a very good people person, as when Salem was a child most of the other children tended to pick on him because he was different. And they could not understand that even though Salem was somewhat different than him he was also the same in many more. And so because of his difficult childhood Salem has become one who does not care much for the company of most other human beings as he sees being around people will just cause them to want to make fun of him and point out the ways he is different. And this tends to be something that enrages Salem when it is done. Though there are those that Salem does not mind being around as even Salem understands that he cannot take on the world by himself and so he has allowed for himself to get close to a few people. Though Salem list of close people is not a very big one, as he does not trust a lot of people.

Caring: Even though Salem is not a people person and has problems with most people because of the way he was treated as a little child. He still cares about people deep down and wants to help humanity. Because Salem sees it as that the people of the world have no Heart or Soul. And fighting those with no Heart or Soul is something that is very difficult. And so, Salem feels that he needs to help the world undergo a rebirth and help all of those that are trapped in this world of the heartless. As Salem wants all of those that still have heart and soul to be able to live in a better world for, he does not want them to have to deal with this horrible world that has come amongst them. Though this may seem like Salem feels he is of a greater calling to some. Salem just feels that the world should be reborn and if no one else will do it, and then he will take it into his own hands and start the process himself. And Though Salem knows that some will see this as Salem either doing it for his own personal reasoning’s or just because he thinks he is better when none of it is so. As Salem just wants the world to become a better place for all so that no other child shall ever have to go through what he did as a kid. And so, Salem feels that by rebirthing the world he can make that possible.

Secretive: Salem is one who has come to keep most things a secret from others as he does not like people knowing a lot of things about himself, or things that he is doing. This is because Salem does not want people judging the things that he is doing or trying to find ways to stop his plans. And because of this Salem has come to even keep those that are close to him on a need-to-know bases. As Salem feels that if they do not need to know every little thing of his plan then why tell them. Because as a Kid Salem made the mistake of telling people things that he should not have told them. And it the end it would always turn out bad for Salem instead of the others. And so, because of all this Salem learned that keeping things to himself was the best way for him to be able to come on top. And so, Salem has come one who has learned to keep everything he does a secret. As Salem has even gotten so good at keeping secrets that he is completely able to keep his feelings hidden and show no emotion 24/7. This has allowed for Salem to seem like an emotionalist bastard to most. Though it is not true as Salem just keeps his real emotions and feelings a secret.

Grateful: Salem is one that is grateful for all of the things that he has been given in life. As Salem knows that he should be thankful for the things that he was lucky to get in this world. As Salem knows that without his powers, he would be unable to change the world like he wants to. Salem is also grateful for all of the minor things that he got in his life. Because things were not always the best for Noctis, even though he was lucky that his family had money and he could have almost anything that he wanted. There were just some things that money could not get Salem when he was child. That main thing being friends as no matter how much Salem wanted friends, he could just not have his parents go out and by him the friends that he wanted. That is why when Salem finally grew older and got his first friend. This is something that Salem would always be grateful for. Because Salem knows that if he would have never found the great feeling of friendship, he would have most likely not been able to make it all those years. As Salem has only a few friends that he managed to get what made him able to deal with all of the other kids that made fun of him and made him feel as though he was a monster.

Generous: Though most do not see this part of Salem as most do not really get to know Salem very well. Salem is one that is very generous to others. As Salem will even go out of his way to even help those that do not like him. Though must do not understand why Salem would help those that do not like him. But Salem feels that maybe if he helps enough people that more people will come to see that he is not a strange boy and is just as normal as them even though his eyes change colors and are like that’s of a cat. And because Salem is so generous like this he has taken it upon himself to tend to help the less fortunate kids of his school when he gets a chance. Since he feels that all his family money can be put to good use by helping that in need. And if he just so happens to get a friend out of it is he really do a bad thing. Since Salem knows that even if he shall not get a friend out of helping others he should still try. This is one of the main reasons Salem wants to rebirth the world as he feels that this will help all those like him. And this will allow for Salem to make the world where there is no discrimination or hate of things like eye color and skin color.

Hard Working: Though Salem comes from a very wealthy family he is one that works hard for most things that he gets. As something’s are just handed to him, Salem would usually rather work hard and earn the things. As hard work and dedication had gotten Salem to be the great Mage that he is now. Because if it were not for Salem working hard on learning to control his magic and learning new spells, he would most likely not be the high-level classed sorcerer that he is now. As Salem knows that without hard work, he will not be able to accomplish anything. And this is why Salem works hard in the project of his idea of rebirthing the word. As Salem feels that if he works hard enough to become a strong enough sorcerer and gets the right spells as well as the right people on his side to help him in achieving his goal then he would be able to rebirth the world and make it a better place for all those that do not fit in. But Salem also knows that if he does not work hard to make his goal become true then it will most likely never happen. Responsible: Salem is one that is very responsible. As Salem can be given a task and he will do almost whatever it takes to make sure that the task is done right and on time. This makes Salem a very big hit with the teachers when it comes to assignments that involve the whole class. As they know if they put Salem in charge it will lead to the assignment getting done right on time maybe even before then. This also makes Salem take responsibilities for all things that are his fault as well as him living up to his own mistakes. As Salem knows he is responsible for things that go wrong when he is in charge. That is why Salem always tries to do the right thing and make the right decisions. Because of this Salem tends to take responsibility for something’s that are not even his fault as he feels that he could of did something to help prevent those things from happening. This is because Salem knows that if he does not put his full focus on certain things and stay series then the results will most likely end badly. Though some think that Salem stays series at all times this is not the truth. As Salem is only serious when he feels that the time calls for it though to most Salem always looks serious. Though Salem sees that being serious is what can most likely help him come across to others as a person who does not play around. Since when Salem threatens those that get in his way, they take it as him telling the truth. As they know that Salem is known for being a serious person. Body wise Salem has a body that most females would trully find attractive, as it is very muscular and fit. Plus the fact that Salem is also tall and towers over a lot of people. This being something that can sometimes make him stand out, but also being something that a lot of females love about him. Because who doesn’t love a tall muscular pirate.  Especially with the skin complexion that Salem has. Considering he is not super white or super tan even though he is constantly out in the sun and on the ocean sea nonstop. He also has long black hair that goes all the way down to his ankles. Though he keeps this braided into a long ponytail at all times, as dealing with all of that hair is just too much of a hassle especially when fighting as most people might try and use it as an advantage against him.

His face also on what most women would call the handsome side. With his nice smile and perfectly chiseled cheek bones. Though his eyes can be a little scary to some people as they are red ringed and nothing like normal eyes. But at the same time some people find a love in the difference of his eye color. Clothes wise Salem is hardly ever seen in more than a white and black tunic that covers his upper body only. Though he does wear pants its more of an Indian leg dress that stops at his ankles. He is also hardly ever seen wearing shoes for some odd reason. Though like a lot of pirates Salem stays with jewelry on. As he always has a golden Necklace with a red ruby around his neck on and golden bangle bracelets that extend from his elbow to his wrist.
