Player Requirements: B-Ranked Wizard(s). C-Ranked Wizards may only come if they accompany a B-Ranked Wizard. 300 word per post requirement. Thread must be at least 30 posts long. Must make 3 Monster Rolls Minimum.

Job Requirements: Find the Lion Pride outside of Hunter Village, bring back the tail, or tooth of the King of Beasts as proof of your victory. Must defeat one form of the Grand Lion.

Enemies:
Weak: Young Lions x10 (These young beasts aren't fully grown, and are in adolescence. They are nimble as can be, and somewhat powerful even in brute force. They can surround you quickly, and strike without hesitation. They show no fear, unless you display something that is too frightening for any animal too conceive of. If you display magic of A-Rank or above, they will flee. Takes one or two hits too down.)

Normal: Lionesses x5 (These fem fatals are as deadly as one would expect the hunters of a lion pride too be. They are fast, and strong, able too dominate an unaware or an opponent who underestimates them quickly. They will attempt too hide, and strike if possible. Their claws do C-Ranked damage, and their bite does B-Ranked damage. Takes 3 hits too down each Lioness.)

Strong: Grand Lion (This Lion is MUCH too big, likely the biggest you've ever seen or will see. He stands easily thirty feet above the ground at the top of his head. He is about forty feet from head too the tip of his tail. He can leap vast distances due to his size, and will attempt too pounce near you and eat you in one fell swoop. He will claw at you if you move around a lot, and his swipes are quite fast. His leaping stomps and pounces deal B-Ranked damage too you and if he bites you you'll either be swallowed or ripped for A-Rank damage. If you're swallowed, you'll have too deal 10 hits of consistent B-Ranked damage too escape his stomach. If you miss too much, within the next 10 posts after being swallowed and do not escape within 10 posts, you pass out and you'll be done for. It takes 10 hits of B-Ranked damage too down this colossal beast, and 15 hits of C-Ranked damage too down him.)

Boss: Grand Lion *Berserk* (The Grand Lion is having a pissy day. He's enraged, and is even lashing out against his own lionesses. His usual stomps and pounces are much more brutal in this form, as he makes it a point too stamp around his targets after landing on them. He deals B-Ranked and A-Ranked damage with his leaps and pounces in this form. He is incredibly fast, as if driven, and will reach you in a matter of moments when charging. He lacks the intelligence he'd have if he wasn't enraged, but this makes him all the more deadly since it takes more too bring down this adrenaline infused King of Beasts. His bite does A-Ranked damage here, as he doesn't choose too swallow but too rip and shred his opponents, shaking them around in his mouth if he's got you bitten before tossing you too the ground and likely attempting too stamp on you. His mighty roar will stun you for the next post if you don't hide behind something, use some form of magic too protect against sound or simply quickly cover your ears. His roar shakes the ground and ripples waves into the air. Takes 15 hits of B-Ranked damage to bring him down in this Berserker Form. Or 25 hits of C-Ranked damage.

Reward: 15,000 Jewels and Renowned Fame within Hunting Village as a Great Hunter

Chelvaric was walking down the road to his next job. It was the first time in a long time that he did a job alone with people that he may or may not know. It was also a what less dangerous job then defeating a whole dark guild or rescuing children from a mighty leviathan. It was a simple hunting mission with not to much difficulties probably. He didn’t even know yet what he had to hunt. He hoped it would turn out to be some demonic creatures. As he would become stronger out of that.

Chelvaric reached the top of a hill that looked out over the valley. It was a big plain covered with tall grass and here and there open pieces of land. The greatest place for predators to hunt. The tall grass was a perfect hiding place for them. And on the open plain they could run very fast. And in the middle of all this a small village was build. It looked pretty peaceful as smoke came from the middle of the wooden houses. Well it were more huts then really houses. And the outer rim of the village was set off with a wooden wall of spiky stakes.

He walked closer as his scarf was flowing in the air and his bells were ringing through the valley. He had his usual outfit on as always. The black sweater with his neko collar around his neck. The usual jeans and chain on it. his arms naked as always. Chelvaric was one of those kind of guys that got into a rhythm. Always do the same things before job. It was a kind of lucky charm he thought.

He reached the wall’s and looked around to see his partners. It looked like there was nobody here yet. So he stood against the wall just next to the entrance and took a lighter and siggy out. after he lightened it he took a deep breath and blew I out again while he waited on his partners.

“Hai, Eternia long time no see. I hope we can do this job like we did in the old days new dragon slayer.” Chelvaric said, a grin on his face. How did he...? before she could figure it out she looked to her left, hearing the familiar voice of a comrade. "Cheria!" teh voice shouted as Eternia ran over to the small girl and her cat, who were laying there on the floor, Blanc looking over her pet with a worried look on her face. She grinned to see her teammate. Atleast it won't be that awkward with Blanc she grinned, her hair flicking in the wind. She hadn't had her hair up in the usual two pigtails. No, she decided something different was good for today, she was wearing her long blue hair, plaited, all the way down her back. She was wearing a casual blue T-shirt and long black jeans which matched perfectly. As Chelvaric came up beside her to see the Little Dragon Slayer, Eternia turned to look at him, keeping her distance. "The old times are over, and honestly, I have no idea if I can trust you. I doubt I can, and I believe I am taking a very big risk in being here with you, especially with Blanc. Chev, I trusted you once, and you betrayed me, you cannot win my trust so easily again, and if you want my trust, you are going to have to work damn hard for it." Eternia eyes grew darker as the approaching sounds of thunder could be heard above them. Eternia's smell changed as she was overpowered by Blanc's scent. "Blanc... Why do you smell so much today" she said moving away from her, only to realise that Chev had the same scent. No way... A...A...Demon Slayer? Eternia's eyes widened as she slowly moved away from him, Roxy standing infront of her, obviously also realising what he was. She pushed him to the side, staring Chelvaric in the eyes, as if to say, Harm Blanc, you die. Harm Roxy, you die. But if you harm me, you would have lost a friend, just like you did when you left.

“I didn’t leave because I wanted to. I left for your safety and for the other peoples safety. And now I am being seen as a betrayer. I would never lay a finger on you or any of my friends. And if I have to earn your respect back I will do that even if I have to die for it.” Chev said, his tone shallow and deep. Die? Safety? My safety? Eternia's eyes flickered a shade black as she heard his words. She could retort at any moment, tell him how worried she was, how dissapointed she was in him. But something stopped her, she didn't know what. She followed Chelvaric, followed by Blanc. They came to a tribal person, some strange person they didn't know. "You’ll find Ulkhatiki the chief in the back of the building. I guess you’re here for the job I wish you good luck.”, said the man, a worried look on his face. Eternia frowned and followed his lead, walkng towards an ancient straw like building. Colour filled it's roof, feathers, beads, colour of the rainbow. It was a bueatiful sight and by far the most colourful building in the town. And Eternia walked up front, she gently knocked on the door. The door was carved from the most bueatiful Ebony Wood she had ever seen. It's delicate texture made Eternia wonder where he had found it and made her not realise he had opened the door. "Who are you...?" he asked, a strange accent in his tone. he was dresses in tribal clothing, his long dark hair plaited into small braids, his face so palee you could say he was a ghost, and his eyes, they were the deepest shad of green ever seen. It was his eyes that captured Eternia's attention. "Oh, umm, sorry, we are here for the job?" she said, her deep blue eyes shone in the sunlight reflecting her perfect smile. Her braided hair fell perfectly behind her as she turned, "I'm truly sorry for being so improper, my name is Eternia and these are my members of my team Blanc and Chelwaric. We are here for the Lion Job" she said in the most impecable proper tone. The man looke at her bluntly and nodded his large head. "Come inside, I will tell you the details." he said, indicating for them to come inside.

Chelvaric looked at the big house as they approached it. the client should be inside of this building normally. And as they walked in front of the door the door was being opened. A man so sickly white appeared in the opening. He was wearing tribal clothes and his hair was braided. He instpected them and asked who they were. Eternia answered that and after a small talk they were let inside.

The house was decorated with bamboo furniture. While the ground was covered in hides. But he didn’t know what kind of animal it was. Probably some horn zebras who were so normal to be seen around this region. And were probably the most hunted to. A fan was making some cool fresh air as the temperature outside was to die for. Chelvaric came from the cold mountains of the north and wasn’t used to a heat like this. He was sweating like a animal but at least he didn’t wear to much clothes. His bells were ringing in the wind of the vent and were giving a relaxed feeling. He plunged himself in one of the sofa’s while the chief sat in an old swinging chair while he took out a long bowed pipe and lightened it. he inhaled a couple of times and was nearly going to fall asleep.

“Can you tell us what the job is about…”, Chelvaric asked the chieftain. A bit annoyed that the man just fell asleep during a conversation and that in the present of 2 ladies.

“Ugh what what happened. Oh yeah the job. Well our food stores are getting empty. Out hunters are coming back from hunts with nothing. And its all the fault of that pride lion! He stirs up his tribe of lions to catch more food then they need. But the problem is that he is too big for my hunters to take care of. So I called in the help of some mages to take care of him.”, the man said and he took another breath of the pipe.

“do we have to kill him….”, chelvaric asked worried. Lions were cat like creatures. His believe prohibited him from killing one. And even damaging one was not going to be something he will gladly do. Chelvaric looked at the chieftain for an answer.

“no no just scare him away is good enough. Take his tooth or tail as prove you beat him. With him gone they will hunt less and our problem will be solved. So do you accept this job?”, the man asked and he took another inhale from his pipe.

“okay I accept”, chelvaric said and looked at his partners to see if they would accept. He was glad they din’t have to kill the poor beast. Why couldn’t they just hunt on something else to get meat. He would never understand some human’s.

'Monster Dice' :

Chelvaric looked at Eternia as she seemed pretty happy to start the job. He was still not sure how he had to deal with this. But he would figure something out. maybe he could even talk some sense into the lions. Who knows this could be one big mistake. Maybe they didn’t even know that they were taking too much food. And it all seemed that the big guy was the problem so he would have a nice competition against him and then they probably would figure out something that works for them all. He opened the door and walked into the air of the sunny day. He hoped this wouldn’t form to much of a problem In the end.

They walked out of the village and were walking through the long grass of the open fields as they were looking for the lion’s. They met a couple of anti-Horses drinking from the river that stretched trough the grass. They were smaller than normal horses and were spotted with white spots on their black or brown skin. And they had two horns who bowed backwards from there head. a strange creature but still beautiful in its own way.

They walked a bit further when they saw 16 lions laying in the grass. Chelvaric mentioned to the other’s to go down while he crawled a bit back to them. but it was too late as Blanc already had made some noise and now the lions were looking at them it seemed he didn’t had many time to explain the plan any more. He first gave a tick on the card on his pants so that Miu came out to hear the plan. The card started to glow and not much later the girl was standing between them. she was wearing a normal white t-shirt with a butterfly on it and a small pink skirt under it. probably because it was this warm. Her hair was tied up in to two braids as always and she wore some necklaces and armbands. Her two pistols where shining In the sun on her waist where they were hanging in there holsters.

“okay this is what we gone do you all go for the lioness and the children just scare them away. Maybe hit them a couple of times but try not to injure them they don’t mean harm they just protect their children. I actually I gone say it again don’t harm them unless you don’t have another choice. A cut wound or something I can heal so don’t be too afraid of that. Miu will support you guys to. In the mean time I will reason with big guy over there. Maybe have to do a bit of wrestling match but if I get him on my side we can solve this peacefully I am sure of it. well that was the plan now spread out and you’re job there coming rushing at us already.”, Chelvaric said in a rush as the lions started to rush to them. he explained with a firm voice and some hand signs.

He then stood up and looked at the female lions and young adult lions storming there way. But he ignored them and looked at the big lion behind them. he was thirty feet big and at least forty feet long. While the other lions didn’t had any mane’s the big lion had one of the biggest and blackest mane’s that Chelvaric had ever seen. Well time to talk to him he guessed and he ran toward the lions. He jumped over the fifteen lion that came rushing in and ran further to the big one.

Chelvaric was feeling boosted as Blanc had casted something to get them have the upper hand. he groaned a bit as she did it way to soon.  Who knows maybe the buff would be off before he even start to fight. He slide to a stop before the big lion as a dust cloud came behind him. The lion started to growl and was pretty angry that Chelvaric had just slide in his sleeping place. Chelvaric made a big smile while he calmly walked towards him when he was around eight yards from the lion he stopped.
 
“Good day to you great lion. I mean no harm to you and my mates also won’t harm you they just playing with the little ones.”, Chelvaric said as he bowed to the lion. He had to treat this pretty carefully. Lions were very proud creature. The lion stared at Chelvaric for a long time before he let out a huge growl and looked at him.
 
“Human why are you trying to talk to a lion you don’t understand me. still I am glad one of your race has some manners. I am Trenshin the lion of the north. I am right hand of Garkula our leader. Sadly you can’t tell me your business here.”, the lion said whel to other people it was growling but Chelvaric could clearly understand. Well this was one of the leaders if they could convince him to leave the problem of the village would be solved. He would probably have to challenge him to a wrestling match. But it would be worth it.
 
“my business here is to tell you that the village close by has food problems because your leader hunts more then needed. So if you would know a way for you guys to less hunt I would be honored to negotiate with you.”, Chelvaric said as he got up and looked at the lion. The lion was startled as the human just had answered him back. he thought a while in silence and then made a decision. Still impressed by the feats this human was doing.
 
“I am very impressed you know our language. And that’s why we shall have a competition. We shall wrestle with each other if you win I shall give you a price and we will l stop hunting to much. Now get ready when I jump to you we shall begin.”, the lion said as he bowed to chelvaric and prepared to jump to him. Chelvaric was getting down and was also preparing to jump against the lion. This was a friendly match between new found respecting friends.
