    Hosenka.

It was such a lovely little town, so quaint and full of life. The peaceful city was well known as a hub of relaxation where many people, both natives of Fiore and those visiting from other countries, came to vacation. It was filled with shops large and small fill with beautiful but largely useless items. There were several restaurants with a large variety of cultural foods available, and lots of small coffee shops. And of course, what Hosenka was most well known for: its day spas.

That was what Thana had come for today, but that didn’t stop her from taking her time getting there. She was in no real rush. Afterall, she was here to relax and enjoy herself, to see all of what this famous town had to offer. The stores didn’t exactly hold too much of interest for her, at least aside from one rather large adult store she found that had a number of fun looking gadgets.

“Okay, seriously. What the hell would you even use that for?” Aeron asked. The other woman was utterly disgusted and embarrassed to be in this particular shop, and had been complaining about it since before they’d even walked in.

Thana raised a brow at her and then gave her a sinister little grin. “I can think of at least seven different circumstances in which a cattle prod would come in handy, easily. Remember that time back in Seven when you got caught and your magic got severed? Oh! Or how about that time in the forest with that guy I killed? If I’d had this baby, I could have made his death so much worse if I stuck it--”

“Aaaand just like that, I’m out.”

Aeron shuddered visibly and walked out of the store, making Thana giggle. She was completely obvious to the fact that everyone in this corner of the room was staring at her like she had grown a third arm out of her head. Aeron didn’t actually exist. At least, not in a way that others could perceive. She was a hallucination in Thana’s mind, a very vivid one that could carry on long conversations and even retained all the memories of their time together over the years. But since no one else could see her except Thana, that meant that she was quite literally talking to no one, and it was drawing quite a bit of attention.

“I’m getting it,” she decided cheerily to herself, throwing it in the basket with everything else she’d picked out. Thana made her purchases at the counter where the worker did his best to ring her up and get her out as quickly as possible. He didn’t make much eye contact, just dumped everything into a sack, took her money, and wished her a good day.

Thana had no idea where Aeron had run off to, but she didn’t plan on waiting around for her. She’d show up eventually, like she always did. Instead, Thana decided to go ahead and make her way to the biggest, most popular spa in town. It was a large building set up on a picturesque hill that overlooked the city, making it easy to spot from almost anywhere in town and giving them an iconic look that surely made it onto plenty of postcards.

Making her way up to the entrance, she paid her entrance fee and for a locker to store her earlier purchases in. After changing into a swimsuit, she went outside to see what all the place had to offer. There were saunas, mud baths, massage stations and pools. There was also a salon and a bar, as well as snack stations and a small deli that sold sandwiches and salads. “I can’t believe I’ve never thought to go to a spa before,” she told herself. This place was relaxing just being here..!

She took her time to enjoy the place for what it had to offer. First was a manicure and pedicure, both received while she also had her head and shoulders massaged by a delicious looking man in khaki shorts and a white polo. From there, she relaxed in the sauna. After a quick rinse in an outdoor shower, she moved on to the mud bath and covered herself in the dark clay before laying down on a bench in the sun to relax a little.

It was all quite lovely, but even after a few hours and testing nearly everything they had to offer, something just felt… off. Missing. She couldn’t think what it was, but surely it would come to her if she just gave it some time and thought. Thana went to the bar and ordered herself a martini before making her way over to a jacuzzi that had a small group of people lounging in it. She lowered herself into it and hummed softly in pleasure as the scalding water licked against her skin.

“This is just lovely, isn’t it?”

Thana opened her eyes to look at the woman sitting beside her. She was older by a couple decades, with slightly graying brunette hair that was pulled up in a bun to keep it out of the water. There was a soft smile on her face. She appeared to be there alone, and just looking to make casual conversation. Thana smiled back. “It’s not bad. Lacking… something. I can’t decide what though.”

Taking a sip from her martini, Thana listened to the idle chatter of those in the jacuzzi. Most of it was talking about their jobs or their families, some of the local guilds. Eventually they started sharing some of the recent news in their different areas. Gossip was always so delightful to listen to. It was while one of them was going on about a recent attack in his city by dark wizards, however, that the gears fully started shifting in her head.

“I just couldn’t believe it,” the man was saying, shaking his head. “Not just the Magic Council and the Rune Knights, but the entire city of Era was under attack. I don’t understand how a single dark guild could have accumulated so many members, and so much power. It took them days to pick up all the bodies off the street, weeks to fix the damage -- even with magic. The Knights lost almost half their force. I swear, the city still smells like blood…”

The others clucked to themselves in sorrow and concern while Thana’s eyes lit up with revelation. “Ah, yes! That’s it…” She had finally put together what this spa had been missing. Looking to the man, she gave him a smile. “Thank you, sir. You’ve been so helpful!”

He gave her a confused look. “Oh, uh.. You’re welcome I gue--”

His voice cut off as a single, sharp claw pierced his throat, the monstrous finger stretching across the expanse of the small jacuzzi from Thana’s hand. The man choked heavily, his face blinking in absolute shock as he struggled to process what had just happened to him. There was a brief pause as everyone went through a split second of denial before the woman next to Thana shrieked in horror. Everyone in the jacuzzi made a mad scramble to try and get out, but the young woman withdrew her finger from the man’s esophagus and extended the rest of the fingers on her hand into sharp claws. The others were cut down before they could even make it fully out of the water, falling back in even as the first man struggled to try and breathe.

It did not take long for the spa to become fully saturated with blood as it leaked out from the half dozen dead bodies floating in the jacuzzi around her. Nearby patrons that saw what happened screamed, and before long the entire spa was in a state of sheer panic. Men and women flooded from the building and into the city, practically trampling one another in the chaos as they made all haste to save their own skins. Among them were the workers, most of whom had decided that they did not get paid nearly enough to stick around for a murdering wizard. Unfortunately, one of them was not quite quick enough to get out of the area before catching Thana’s eye.

“You.” He stopped dead and stared at her in fright. Thana gave him a sultry little smile and beckoned him with one of her long fingers to come closer. “Why don’t you come on in here and give a lady a nice foot massage?” The man gulped, obviously horrified at the idea of getting into what was literally a small pool of boiling blood and floating corpses. But a dangerous grin from the black haired beauty made him think twice about trying to run.

Taking off his shoes, he slowly got into the jacuzzi. He had to resist the urge to hurl several times, particularly when he accidentally bumped one of the bodies. Thana lifted a long leg out of the crimson water, the limb red with watered down blood. He took it carefully and began to massage it, doing his best to keep her happy until help would hopefully arrive. Thana closed her eyes and moaned again, sinking a little deeper in the pool as she relaxed.

Now it’s perfect.” She took a sip from her martini.

Please forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head.

Spa Day Empty Re: Spa Day

Post by Ray Jyx 20th June 2019, 6:25 pm

It'd already been a long day.

There'd been a disturbance in a small fishing village to the west of Hosenka. The report the guild received stated a dark mage had taken it over and was demanding tributes from the poor villagers under threat of having their home destroyed, so Sivvy had promptly set out to right the situation. The ship voyage to Cedar was as horrendous as always, making her sick and miserable until she could finally step food on dry, stable land. Dr. Raelin had been very displeased when he learned dragon slayer lacrimas bring on the obvious weakness of motion sickness, but he wasn't the one who had to experience it every time she had to travel. She recovered quickly, however, and continued on her solo mission by traveling through Cedar and Hosenka to aid the outlying village of Hookboot.

Reports of what was happening in Hookboot were far from accurate. When she arrived, she found a fishing village with absolutely no one fishing. Abandoned boats bobbed sadly off of dilapidated piers. Not a soul was in sight on the outskirts. Houses and meager businesses were empty, even though it was prime daylight. Further in she started to see citizens, though they ignored her in their frenzied running around. Bodies lay in small heaps here and there amongst the rubble. Buildings were being cannibalized for their stone. Sivvy's brows creased in confusion. Why were they tearing down their own home and carting the bricks off? She followed one cart to the small center square, where quite the sight revealed itself. The town was being dismantled by its own sobbing people to make room and gain supplies for a larger structure. Villagers composed of wizards and non-wizards alike were all concentrated at the center of town, frantically building as a group of rough-talking mages ordered them around and berated them. They were making sport of the suffering of simple fishmen, even going so far as to do unspeakable things to the friends and family of those below while they watched, going so far as to kill one for entertainment right before her eyes. The scene became clear. It was no longer just one dark mage bullying poor people for jewel. It was a fledgling dark guild making a new headquarters at the expense of hundreds of innocent victims, seeking power while tramping any poor soul that got in the way. Worthless scoundrels that would do anything to get off.

These newborn dark guild members weren't pushovers though. Sivvy rocketed herself with no amount of restraint right into the center of their guild-raising party, hitting hard and fast as usual. She was the extremely direct sort. Two fists with the force of oncoming trains hit without warning and snapped two of the members' necks, killing them instantly, but the remaining five would prove more difficult. Even though the union was new, they worked well together and didn't hesitate to use the townsfolk's safety against her when possible. Going at this many capable wizards alone was a struggle, draining her magical power quickly as she worked as efficiently as possible to minimize innocent loss of life. Their eventual downfall was honestly their willingness to sacrifice one another for a chance to either win or escape, but neither options were in their cards. Sivvy might just be one woman, but she was one extremely well-trained wizard with a tactical mind and zero qualms about striking the killing blow when opportunities arose. Their presumptions that all legal mages opted for non-lethal methods was a grave mistake to make. As their metal ridden bodies fell and took their last breaths, the rosy-haired clone could finally call this job done.

Draining of magical power was far from the only thing she suffered. By the end of it her white, black, and red uniform had been ripped to shreds and bloodied. 7 might have left it this way to conserve energy since she could barely stand, but she considered how alarming it might seem to the victims. Not only that but Dies Irae mages aimed to be the strongest in Earthland so evil would tremble in their mere shadows. No matter what, she had to seem like this had been no challenge. As an ambassador, she was a symbol and a shining example for all to see, after all. Slowly her metallic threads repaired the outfit and served as bandages as well, returning her to a more presentable state. Nothing could be done about the various gashes and bruises, but the exterior damage was nothing. One difficult mage, in particular, had some sort of peculiar draining magic that sapped pretty much everything she had and given it to her enemies. She was glad that one was dead. As she turned to check on the people, she was met with uproarious applause and a few men more than willing to take care of their oppressors' bodies. Normally she tried to also do that task, but it seemed beyond her abilities at the moment. Sivvy simply wanted to escape and rest.

"Thank you! How can we ever repay you?" a generic citizen asked the likewise generic post-saving question, to which the worn out Ambassador waved her hand. "Please, don't worry about it. This is just what members of Dies Irae do," she spoke, though perhaps her voice was even flatter than usual. She was simply so worn out that her normal stoicism was amplified despite her efforts to seem amicable and put the villagers at ease. "Just rest knowing they can't bother you anymore," sighed the woman, turning away from them all and forcing herself to rush out of town. The locals cocked a brow or two, but ultimately their lives were so improved, they wouldn't pay their escaping savior much mind. Not throwing a thank-you dinner for her would certainly help them feed themselves until they could get back on their feet.

After a brief rest in a quiet field of wheat outside the town, the dragon slayer finally felt well enough to head back home. It was a long walk back to Cedar, but that meant she might be able to stop off in Hosenka on the way to indulge in her post-job victory ritual. Food. There was a sushi place there where she'd met her mentor and fellow Ambassador Johann. Despite not being sentimental type, she couldn't deny that she'd love to go there again. Maybe she'd even get a to-go bag for him. He'd probably love that. If once she got there and ate she didn't feel much better, she'd just stay the night at one of the lovely inns and make the journey to Cedar and then home tomorrow.

As if this rough day hadn't been hard enough on her, once she neared the entrance to the tourist trap spa town, a stampede of toweled men and women in wet bathing suits came rushing at her. They were screaming in terror about a murderous wizard in their main spa, though the details were hazy. One thing was certain, the traumatized patrons were whipping the crowded streets into a panic. This wasn't good.

Never one to shy away from her duty, no matter how tired she was, Sivvy didn't even hesitate a second to alter her course from the sushi restaurant toward the spa on the hill. "Please! Calm down. I'll take care of this. Don't panic!" she tried to caution the tourists and locals alike on her way, urging them to get indoors and close up shop, but not to fall into dangerous hysteria. There was only one of her and she couldn't assure the villagers' safety and neutralize the threat at the same time. Without being able to call for help in a quick fashion, this was the best she could do. One more dark mage wouldn't be such a challenge after the seven she'd just killed. Perhaps she was overestimating her abilities, but how could she call herself and Ambassador of the order keeping, evil exterminating, innocent protecting guild Dies Irae if she walked on past this threat because she was drained?

Sivvy managed to run up the hill with little issue, though her speed was greatly diminished. Even from several dozen meters away, her sensitive nose was picking up the thick scent of blood. She followed the smell inside and straight to the bloody jacuzzi. It was like a red fizzy drink with corpse ice cubes bobbing around. The only two among the living was a woman relaxing in the crimson waters with a drink, on the receiving end of a nearly catatonic employee giving a foot massage, waist deep in his former customers' blood. It was an odd sight to be sure, but there was no time to dwell on that. Without a second thought she lifted her arm and shot a spinning spike from her palm at the lounging woman while barking a "Get out of here now!" at the poor mentally scarred man. Other than him, the place was devoid of people she'd have to worry about in the ensuing fight.

Everything was quite lovely, now. The drink in her hand tasted divine, and the man kneading her feet seemed to be finding all the right places where she needed her muscles soothed. Thana purred softly to herself, either oblivious to or completely uncaring toward the man’s stressful state. “Mmm, you certainly have a way with your fingers, don’t you?” she asked without opening her eyes or shifting from her relaxed position. “Maybe when we’re done I’ll see if you can release some of my tension in other ways…”

Her promise for an intimate time that the man surely was not going to want got interrupted by the arrival of a mage. Thana gasped, her ember colored eyes flying open in surprise as an iron spike embedded itself in her shoulder, practically pinning her to the concrete edge of the spa. At his savior’s insistence, the man rushed out of the bloody water and practically whimpered his thanks as he sprinted past her.

The pain was sharp, intense. It had all but taken the breath right out of her, her body coursing with adrenaline as it fought to address the wound and the agony it was causing her. Thana reveled in it, taking only a second or two of initial shock to process what had just happened before she slipped back into her impish little grin and hummed with satisfaction. “Well, they say the line between pain and pleasure is a thin one,” she told the newcomer with a breathless giggle.

Reaching up, she grabbed hold of the spike and yanked it out of her body. Once more she gasped in pain, her breath coming in shallow gasps for a moment before she could collect herself. Then, she relaxed in the jacuzzi once more, drink in one hand and bloodied spike in the other. Glancing Sivvy up and down slowly, she took stock of the woman while sipping her martini. The wound in her shoulder continued to drip, adding to the clouded water.

“Sweetheart, you look like you’ve been trampled,” Thana commented, using the tip of the spike to gesture broadly at the gashes and bruises on Sivvy’s body. “Though how you managed to take all that damage and leave your clothes in tact is a nice trick. I should learn that one.”

Smirking a bit at her, she shifted to make herself a little more comfortable. “Luckily, you’re at a spa now and it’s the perfect place to unwind. Why don’t you come on in and soak for a while? The water’s real nice.”

Please forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head.

Spa Day Empty Re: Spa Day

Post by Ray Jyx 19th July 2019, 3:13 am

    "Uhm.."

Sivvy seemed somewhat stumped by her intended foe's reaction. She'd wounded her and taken her hostage away from her, yet the woman seemed largely unbothered and continued to lounge in the crimson waters smelling of iron and death as if nothing had changed the natural state of the spa at all. This wasn't the expected behavior of a homicidal criminal, yet all the evidence was here to prove she was. Still inexcusable, but very perplexing.

Her enemy commented on her appearance. As much as she adored fashion when she was able, this was hardly the time. "I just came from saving a village nearby from some dark mages. My metal threads can always repair my clothes as long as I have magic power left," the young woman possibly over-explained, honest as ever. The clone always answered as truthfully as possible, for she never knew when the tiniest detail would make all the difference in the world. In the context of fighting evil solo, though, perhaps answering questions and making small talk wasn't the top priority. She was just so perplexed by the scene that she didn't think to brush off the comments.

"No, I would not like to join you," the ambassador responded politely, though the lowered tone cast a darkened intent on her words. Confusing or no, she would not let this woman go. No matter how tired she was or how battered, it was her job and her duty to take down people like this and protect the innocent. "You've done something very bad here...you do realize this, right?" Sivvy asked with lowered brows, voice stern but inquisitive. Maybe this woman was mentally ill and didn't know what she was doing? That fell in that confounding gray area that kept 7 up at night worrying. The things she was doing were still very bad, but if she couldn't help it or if she didn't know, did that still sign her death warrant or did she just need saving and some help like the average citizen? Honestly, her mind was too weary to logic it out beyond a certain point. The dragon slayer was just too beat. Most of her energy was used up and just that small preemptive attack made her arms feel a bit heavier. "Ma'am, you need to get out of the tub and come with me. You've murdered people here, you know that right? That's...not good. I need to take you in to face consequences," Sivvy informed her, remaining steadfast at the edge of the tub. Despite how tired she was, her hands were at the ready to either attack or defend, depending on the answer this strange woman gave her.

The pink haired do gooder insisted that she was not interested in joining Thana in the jacuzzi, which was about what the psychopath expected. As Sivvy went on to attempt to explain the gravity of what had taken place here, Thana merely watched her, keeping her amber gaze on the other woman while gently using the tip of the spike she’d pulled from her body to idly stir the bloodied waters around her.

“Face the consequences?” she asked after Sivvy finished speaking. A thin brow raised curiously toward her forehead, her expression dancing with morbid curiosity. “Now, that does sound… enticing. Truth be told, this place was starting to bore me anyway, which was why I decided to spice things up a bit. Perhaps I’ll go with you. You seem to care. It’s endearing.”

For a moment, it did seem as though Thana was going to consider coming quietly. She even glanced around at the bodies floating around her with a lamented sigh, like she was resigning herself to her fate. When she looked back up at Sivvy, however, everything changed.Thana locked her eyes on the other woman’s, channeling a bit of her magic through them. If Sivvy wasn’t able to look away in time, she would quickly find herself feeling as though her gaze was glued to Thana’s.

It would feel like a nightmare, but ten times more intense as a sudden sense of paralysis would wash down the legal mage’s body from head to toe. She would be fully conscious with nothing actually physically restraining her, but as much as she would try it would feel as though her body simply refused to move if she wanted it to, not even to lift a finger or open her mouth to scream. A palpable fear would drip its way down her spine almost out of nowhere, and from the corners of her eyes dark, menacing shadows seemed to loom and flicker around her. They ebbed with a horrific demonic aura, and though they said nothing Sivvy would know they were there for one purpose: to possess her. To take control of her body and use her for their hellish designs, to torture her endlessly without care or remorse.

“I’m just kidding. As delightful as your promise of consequences sounds, I think I’d rather just play with you here and now, instead.”

Thana stood to her feet in the spa, the clouded waters still high enough to obscure her body from the waist down. As she walked slowly toward the steps that led out of the jacuzzi, her flesh turned a dark greenish-grey color and her eyes turned red. At first it would seem like she had just altered the color of her skin, but as she emerged from the blood a more horrific sight would greet the pink haired mage: It was not a human leg that emerged from the depths, but a thin, pointed limb like one would find on an insect. Indeed, Thana’s entire lower half had taken on the wide, swollen form of a spider. It was pure black with a full eight legs that gracefully and menacingly clawed their way out of the pool.

“And just to give you a fair warning… I like to break my toys.”

Spa Day Empty Re: Spa Day

Post by Ray Jyx 8th August 2019, 8:20 pm

As sad as it was for someone of her caliber, Sivvy still had a rather glaring flaw; she was terribly gullible. Being somewhat unable to read people who were even remotely skilled in deception, the clone really thought this woman intended to come with her that easily. She even let out a small sigh of relief, as she was very tired and the thought of not having to fight after all was a weight off her shoulders. A hand slipped into her bag and rustled around for some handcuffs. In her line of work, cuffs weren't used too often, since unless otherwise instructed the dark mages were to die, not be captured. But this woman seemed somewhat repentant now, so perhaps she could be one of the rare ones to be rehabilitated. "Yes, if you come with me I'll take you back to headquarters and we can go from there," the ambassador stated, her brain mulling over what could be done. DI didn't have much in the ways of rehab, but maybe the Rune Knights did? They had a jail, maybe they had programs. She saw no harm in handing her over to Fiore's authorities.

Once she found the cuffs she glanced up to meet her potential prisoner's eyes, and that was it. The magic took hold immediately and she couldn't look away, even though every instinct in her told her to do so. Was she really so exhausted that she made the mistake of not sensing this woman using a spell? It seemed clear now, but it was too little too late. Her body was frozen there, clutching a pair of restraints that were never meant to be used. While alarming, Sivvy seemed unfazed at the start. A simple immobilization spell was annoying, but if she could muster enough magical power within herself for a burst, she could free herself. The rose-haired girl's supplies of magic were pretty spent, though, so it took longer than it should have, and before she could actually do it, the fear set in. Even though not a muscle in her body could move, the unmistakable shift in her pupil size was enough to make it clear she had fallen victim.

Gullibility was far from the clone's only flaw. It was merely the one that was displayed most often in the presence of others. Another more powerful flaw was one that normally only manifested at night when her body demanded sleep. Ever since she gained the first moments of consciousness upon being released from her incubation tube, fear plagued her world. The fear of everything being new and unfamiliar, being suddenly self-aware in a cold and confusing environment. Dr. Raelin robbed each clone of their infancy and childhood, stole away the years that taught a human how to deal with imagination and dreams and the nonsensical aspects of life. While she'd grown to banish most fears in her daily waking life, 7 could never justify the hallucinations during sleep. The images there turned what would be nice but odd dreams for the average person into abject nightmares. As a being raised on practicality, logic, and reasoning, made up images that defied all laws of nature were horrifying. They made her scream and quake when she was forced to sleep.

Perhaps she was even more susceptible to this magic now because of how tired she was from the mission directly prior to this. The woman had already been trying to prepare her mind for the nightmares awaiting her when she returned and inevitably fell into slumber. It was a powerful dread she knew she couldn't avoid forever. It was a necessary evil. Even taking this job was a risk, since she'd been up for three days straight already. But as intelligent as Sivvy was, she wasn't above making this mistake over and over again because it'd yet to truly have any negative repercussions. This time it would cost her. Time would only show her how dearly.

Demonic shadows loomed up around her, their threats unspoken but even more ominous for their silence. What were they really? Shadows weren't normally tangible without magic, but she knew these shadows were just as deadly as she was. It didn't make sense, but the clone just knew they wanted to crawl inside her and take everything from her. They were gonna torture her in an unrelenting cycle of pain and humiliation! They were gonna press their spiraling tendrils into her neck where laboratory tubes once were, but instead of chemicals and nutrients to keep her alive, they would pump their miasma into her arteries and slowly destroy her cells one by one. Another would suck her inside and she'd feel like she was falling for eternity, while another detached and reattached her limbs at random. They'd wring her out like a wet cloth and snip her into pieces for patches! These things were as certain as the icy chill of fright dripping down her spine and no matter how much reason she used, she couldn't tell herself any different. In light of all of this, Sivvy wanted to scream. She needed to. The pressure in her chest was painful and desperate as if the only way she'd survive it would be to shriek unendingly, but she couldn't. Just like all the nightmares, her voice was locked up inside her. Her body didn't work. Nothing functioned except her senses and breathing. Her mind couldn't handle the terror gripping her, only worsened by her new body prison. Nothing could be done to escape it. This enemy never had any intentions of giving up and going quietly. The failure to realize that coupled with the worst fear she'd ever felt was a level of trauma 7 had no precedent for. A lot of truly terrible things had happened to her in her short living years, but nothing brought this level of panic to her eyes. Before she knew it, her breaths were coming in quick and shallow gasps and she considered that one of the demonic shadows had replaced her human heart with one from a terrified rabbit. Would she die of fright like a rabbit, as well?

As her foe finally emerged the rest of the way from the mottled water, as nightmarish as the half-spider woman looked, it was a very small relief to see something in the real world that grounded her and even distracted her at a small level. 7 had the thought to not show weakness in the face of this threat. Perhaps with her body unresponsive, she appeared unbothered? A nice thought, but surely her gasps for air and her eyes of prey were unmaskable. It was a foolish thing to consider. The darkness looming at the corners of her eyes now weren't demons summoned to torment her forever, but rather her body's attempt to shut her down to preserve her. Even still, with much effort, she managed a glare at the predator before her, doing her best to communicate that she'd not go easy into whatever broken-toy fate she might have now.

The spell was quite effective again this woman, who seized up almost immediately in fright and paralysis. It seemed she was especially susceptible to the terror inducing state that Thana’s magic often fostered. How curious.

In fact, she found herself very interested in this woman with her pretty pink hair and her defiant eyes that even now fought to stand against her despite her predicament. She was scared, yes, but she was also a fighter. “What do you think, Darius?” she asked out loud as she looked the woman up and down. Delicate fingers reached up to idly stroke the sides of a purple gem that hung from her neck. “This one must have some delightful secrets she is keeping, wouldn’t you say?”

I do sense an intense amount of emotion from her. Like with Aeron, this was a voice that only Thana could hear. However, unlike her brunette counterpart, the soul that was trapped inside the amulet was quite real. The disembodied archmage continued to communicate with the stone’s bearer even as he reached out with his magic to delve into the ambassador’s memories. Though Sivvy would not feel as though anyone were invading her mind, the actions of it would become more than clear as she overheard the seemingly one sided conversation that Thana was having with herself.

“So much anxiety,” the dark mage crooned softly. “You poor thing. You really should make some time for yourself to relax, all this stress isn’t good for your immune system.”

    Oh… now that’s interesting…

    “Oh? What did you see?”

This woman’s life is the result of genetic experimentation. She is one copy of many.

Thana raised an eyebrow. “You’re saying she’s a clone of someone?”

Indeed. There is much trauma in her past regarding it.

He transferred images of the memories he was seeing to Thana. The dark mage closed her eyes and breathed in like she was taking a refreshing breath of air as some of Sivvy’s more difficult memories flashed through her mind’s eye. “Mmm… yes, I see what you mean.” Thana opened her eyes again to consider the woman, leaning close enough to get a good look at her. One of her long spider legs reached up to gently brush the other woman on the cheek. “She is rife with so many delicious nightmares. It’s almost like we were destined to meet one another.”

All the horrific images that had flitted into her head was starting to get her a bit worked up. She’d never met someone with this much pain in her life, so much that they were hiding and running from. Anything that didn’t have some kind of logical explanation was sure to terrify this woman, and that made Thana long to see exactly how crazed she could make her.

“That is, of course, if any of this is even real.” Thana’s sugary sweet voice was almost a whisper as she spoke to Sivvy. Suddenly the world around Iris would seem to bend and blur, becoming hazy like one often felt when they were dreaming. Unless she found the stamina to overcome it, an intense sense of vertigo would wash over the ambassador, leaving her feeling a bit dizzy and confused. “Can you be certain that you’re even awake right now? Maybe you don’t even want to be awake. Maybe the truth is far more terrifying than the nonsensical experiences cooked up by your brain.”

She leaned in real close, her lips practically on Sivvy's ear as she softly told her, “After all, if this is a dream, then eventually you might just wake up back in that lab, decommissioned with the rest of your sisters… stuck in stasis, in a never ending state of delirium and inability to serve and perform…”

“But at least in this little world of yours, your life might have some meaning to it, however fleeting and inconsequential...”
Please forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head.

Spa Day Empty Re: Spa Day

Post by Ray Jyx 8th September 2019, 12:08 am

While she struggled to remain defiant, her mind raced. This woman was talking to someone. An ally? The escaping citizens hadn't mentioned more than one attacker, but terrorized victims often got even big details wrong. It was funny how the mind worked. Even if Sivvy didn't know the depths of which her mind differed from the average person, she did know even hers was atypical. She didn't react how others expected. There had to be a reason a lot of people in the past had called her a robot, and why even to this day it seemed she had to fight to have even the semblance of the natural humanity those around her enjoyed.

Her eyes darted enough to check for another person, but there wasn't any she could see or smell. Yet, clearly, this woman was talking to someone. At first, she chalked it up to psychosis...until she started saying targeted things. The anxiety Sivvy could rationalize. Of course, she could say that. No amount of defiant glares could truly mask the terror she felt and the clone knew that. Was this some sort of con, like the fake psychics she'd read about? She was about to decide it so until the next set of words came. Her heart missed a beat and her eyes widened.

How could she know she was a clone? The guild master had never met this woman in her life. She'd remember if she had. Friends were a recent development for her, and even of those few, she couldn't recall telling any of them much beyond her sterile laboratory upbringing. It wasn't that she was keeping a secret, just more that it hadn't come up exactly. Inferences could be made since her designation was 7 and she'd mentioned her sisters 1 through 6 before, but had she ever explicitly informed anyone that she and her siblings, even those other than 1 through 6, were copies of one woman?

Strangely, the slayer didn't flinch as a spidery appendage touched her, nor had she flinched this entire time. Her body stood like stone, paralyzed, but that wasn't why her body didn't try to react. She suspected this spider woman knew exactly why she stood fast. Was this true psychic ability? She wasn't sure, but she now also knew of the nightmares, which she agreed was quite the unfortunate match-up. The one spell she'd been caught in was most likely nightmare based, and if the rest were as well and mixed with mind-based magic...well, Sivvy knew her weaknesses very well. This was a bad situation, one that could have been avoided if she'd called for reinforcements and not assumed she could handle it in her exhausted state. Had she unintentionally fallen victim to overestimation and reap the consequences? It seemed a foolish mistake indeed. One that she could already tell would cost her. How great would the cost be?

The hint of surprise in her strained features returned to a purely defiant one, one dead set on surviving this encounter if not managing to come out on top in the end. It didn't matter what this woman knew of her past. Sivvy was always running forward. She just had to remember her training and Dr. Raelin's words, as well as Johann's mentorship.

Psyching up as much as she wanted wouldn't protect her from what was coming. Trinity had found the exact button to push and jammed it so hard it broke, right out of the gate. When things didn't make sense, Sivvy constantly asked herself if she was still awake, or if the whole situation was a dream. A nightmare. Was all of this a dream? Had she passed out while she rested from saving the fishing town? Normally thinking such things would provide a boon to someone in this much distress, but this only heightened the scientific copy's.

"N-No," she stuttered, a rare thing for the polished girl to do. Despite her dispute, her pulse and breathing quickened some more, partly from increasing fear and partly because the vertigo was making her sick. As a slayer, she was already prone to motion sickness. "...All of this...t-this is real....t-they're real.." she groaned, closing her eyes. The trippy feeling along with the dreamy quality of things her eyes could see wasn't helping her refusals, but she couldn't think of Amalie, Johann, and her guildmates as fiction her mind made up. They possessed qualities she didn't understand and were vibrant people glowing with humanity she couldn't fathom. Qualities she wanted to learn and emulate. Artemis...he couldn't be a fabrication. "Stop it!"

Even worse, Sivvy had no concrete, logical proof to dispute her attacker's claims. For all their tangibility and complexity, had she produced this charade to save her sanity from blowing to bits? Had her very worst fear already happened? Was there a reality she was hiding from that was worse than this? Had she been decommissioned, and this was the neverending hell she'd endure for...for how long? Forever? How long was forever? Had she already failed all her directives and purposes, becoming a useless pile of flesh switched off to use for parts and research, but her consciousness left active in one last act of Dr. Raelin's cruelty? What was real and what wasn't? How would she ever know? How would she ever know?!

There was no way she could ever know. Somehow that produced an abject terror she couldn't quell, and that's when she started screaming. Screaming, pulsing some of the last of her energy through her body, thrashing to break her body free, and swinging at the woman tormenting her.

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

The torment was sweet, like nectar to Thana’s lips. The widening of the woman’s eyes, the stiffening of her body as Sivvy realized that her torturer knew much more about her than she had any right to know. Thana’s prey was so petrified that she couldn’t even move when caressed by the delicate and fearsome legs of her takeover form.

The experience was only heightened when she had, apparently, found the exact right angle to play to make the other woman go crazy. Oh, how Sivvy protested Thana’s lies about the state of the clone’s consciousness, but the psychopath was far too cunning for the woman, it seemed. A touch of her magic to make the world feel hazy, a whisper in her ear about her worst nightmares, and before Thana even had time to fully prepare herself her target was screeching in terror before her.

Sivvy flailed, lashing out at Thana in any way that she could in a desperate attempt to free herself and convince herself she wasn’t dreaming. Her magic pulsed from her body on instinct, a final but efficient display of power that pushed Thana back. She had to cover her face to keep it from being injured by the wave, and if she hadn’t been in a form that had eight legs she might very well have been pushed back onto her ass. Balance was hardly an issue in her Dryder body, however.

Thana giggled a little to herself and wandered back over to Sivvy with a passionate hunger in her eyes. The screaming was an aphrodisiac to the sadistic woman, who soaked in it much like she’d been soaking in a pool of blood not so long ago. Her body ached from the pressure that Sivvy’s carnal magic was putting on it, but all it did was spur Thana further into psychosis.

Standing on her hind legs, she pointed the underside of her belly at Sivvy and loosed a stream of webbing from her spinnerette. There wasn’t a roof above them to string her up by, but there were plenty of beautiful trees with limbs at the perfect height for what she needed. Thana caught each of Sivvy’s arms and used the sticky substance to shackle her with her arms spread apart, lifted off the ground with her feet dangling. “Mmm, you just have the most delicious screams,” she cooed softly. “I wonder what else about you is delicious…

At this point, it was a toss up as to what she meant by that. Was she threatening to eat her like a spider? Was she suggesting harassing her in other, more humiliating ways?

Tell me more, Darius. Show me more. Thana spoke through her mind, this time, not wanting to destroy the delicate state of insanity that she’d put her new victim in. She wanted nothing more than to break the woman wholly and completely.

I don’t even know where to begin, the disembodied voice confessed from its crystalline home. She has so much packed up inside of her. Honestly I’m surprised she’s not as mad as you are.

She grinned. No one is as mad as I am, my dear.

Yes, I’m starting to understand that. Oh, here’s something you might be able to work with… He flooded Thana’s mind with images, and with one face in particular. Memories of Sivvy’s earlier times flashed before the dark mage’s eyes. She heard and saw more than enough to work with, and she was more than excited to see what she could do with it.

The nightmarish illusions bent around them, taking on a more specific look based on the memories Darius had stolen. The world shifted and twisted until it looked very much like the lab that Sivvy had been created in. Everything was still a bit hazy, but the location was undeniable. Thana had even gone so far as to try to trick Sivvy’s mind into thinking that the clone was strapped to a lab gurney rather than being strung up on a tree.

As the change settled in, Thana once more walked a circuit around Sivvy, temporarily gone from view. As she did, she morphed into a new form. This time, when she stood before Sivvy again she would appear to be a younger to middle aged man with dark hair and dark eyes, wearing a long white lab coat. She gazed upon Sivvy through Dr. Raelin’s eyes, his gaze cold, stern, and unimpressed. When she spoke, Thana would sound just like him.

“Number Seven! Be quiet, this instant!” she barked in an unfeeling tone from one who expected to be obeyed. “How do you expect me to get my work done with your constant screeching?” Thana groaned in her deep, male voice, rubbing her temples like she was getting a headache. “The least the Council could have done was let me put you down when they decided you weren’t worth their time or money.”
Please forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head.

Spa Day Empty Re: Spa Day

Post by Ray Jyx 8th December 2019, 6:44 am

Having used the last of her magical power and effectively becoming too exhausted and distraught to fight back, Sivvy was now at her captor's mercy, a trait that she was willing to bet this foe lacked entirely. No, the ambassador would not be on the receiving end of any mercy, perhaps as a part of that karma notion she'd heard of and dismissed. Maybe it wasn't so silly after all. She'd cut down possibly thousands of dark mages without a shred of mercy before now, so she tried to justify that perhaps this was just the price due. The concept wouldn't stick, though. Her mind was still reeling, unable to fight off the planted perception that all of this, her whole life she'd built was all a coma dream and everything was pointless. She was mourning her friends and all the things she'd come to like despite herself. If she'd listened to Dr. Raelin, really took his teachings to heart as her sisters had, then she wouldn't be suffering right now. He was right. He'd always been right. This was a weakness undeserving of life.

Her attack had done nothing, so she was barely surprised when spider silk started stringing her up. She barely cared, though it did jar her out of her screams of despair, turning them into something of a trembling sob instead. Someone as controlled and mindful as Sivvy was unfamiliar with letting her emotions and body take over instead, but she had little choice. With her mind occupied and despondent, all her body could do was react to the intensity of already unfamiliar emotions. She could barely register her attacker's words about her screams, though if she had, she would have known more would be done to draw more of them out of her.

The shift in dreamscape was effective enough. Sivvy hardly registered that she remembered that her shackles were spider goop and that she should be hanging in the trees of a Hosenka spa. Her fractured mind took it as fact, accepting the familiar surroundings as that of her place of creation, the place her body was probably stored. Her mind filled in the gaps easily. Dr. Raelin had just thought of some sort of use for her and brought her out of her death-like stasis. Eagerly she grasped at this shred of grounding reality as if it reinforced the nightmare of before but also released her from her fake life, giving her some footing to build off of, something to reclaim her mind with. The gurney felt as comforting as her fabricated room at Dies Irae, even though it was where he had cut her open for tests and modifications time and time again. The clone almost smiled in relief, even though she still sniveled and gasped as if her lungs had shrunken.

As soon as Dr. Raelin spoke she clammed up, though her body quivered. His behavior was close enough in the dreamy haze to fool her completely, and just like that she regressed to the little rejected science project so eager to please and be useful. She did her best to also hide any trace of the emotions she'd developed in her dream world, only now realizing how far she'd fallen away from his programming. "They said..maybe I'd be a 'late bloomer'....remember?" the clone hesitantly asked him, cringing at the delicate uncertainty in her voice. No, that wasn't right. She'd been more steady, stronger in the past, even when he berated her. "I may be useful to them later," she continued, steadying her tone, though her body still rocked and her stomach still felt like it would violently escape. Deep in her sub-consciousness, she hated this. Sivvy knew she'd changed and had liked what she'd become. This felt like a betrayal to herself and what little identity she'd slowly started to fight for. Though her face was becoming stoic, tears continued to stream down her cheeks as if her very soul was weeping in her stead. "Have I still not proven myself useful to you, Dr. Raelin? I can make more jewel if you need. I can do anything you require." The slayer pulled at the restraints ever so slightly, as if reinforcing she was already strapped down. "I will accept my punishment," the pinkette relented, though something in her very much wanted to escape suddenly. It was as if her nerves were on fire, and he hadn't even made the incision yet.

Her own memories melded into the dream world set up for her to see, superimposing over Trinity Dr. Raelin. All the horrific things he'd done to her on this table, things that hadn't bothered her at the time bothered her now. Sivvy had always feared him, but being conditioned to think she didn't had been enough. Now that some of the conditioning was undone, the things he'd done to her were wrong, painful, traumatizing. What would he do to her now? Never before had she screamed or cried in front of him, not since she'd first gained those first seconds of consciousness once released from her incubation tube into the confusing new world. How would he react to all of this weakness in her. It was enough to have her ready to scream at the drop of a hat. "What will you do to me?"

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

How easily people were always swayed. A few tricks of the mind, and Sivvy sank right into the nightmare that Thana had laid out for her. There was even a physical difference in the clone, who had stopped her sobbing and reverted to a state where she was almost little more than a machine, though it took her a minute or so to get her bearings. The girl almost seemed comforted by the change, in fact. Thana didn’t have to ask why. She’d tortured so many people at this point that she fully understood what often went through the minds of her victims, so she recognized that Sivvy was clinging to the security of something familiar to distract her from the trauma that Thana was inflicting on her. Delicious.

Still in the guise of Dr. Raelin, Thana didn’t even bother to give so much as a snort of amusement toward Sivvy’s comments. “A late bloomer? Those idiots on the Council clearly don’t understand the science behind cloning. Success means that all results are identical. There’s no such thing as a late bloomer, only a failed experiment.”[/color] She practically spat the last two words out, making it very clear that was exactly what Sivvy was.

As the pink haired woman asked what she could do to prove herself, Dr. Raelin appeared to be setting up a number of tools on the work bench beside her gurney. They were tools that Sivvy would associate with pain, ones meant to cut her open and pull apart her insides. “The only thing I want you to do is shut up, Seven,” Thana told her. When Sivvy once again spoke up, asking what he planned on doing to her, he seemed to grow angier that his instructions weren’t being obeyed. “The only thing I can do to you: salvage you for parts. Now shut up!” He reached up and smacked her hard across the face with the backside of his hand.

He struck her so hard that it seemed to have knocked her back into her dream world, for once again the bloodied spa surrounded her and she was strung up in a tree with thick spiderwebs. There was still a haziness to their surroundings to make Sivvy feel as though this world wasn’t necessarily the real one. Thana walked slowly in front of her, the cruel smirk still on her face. “Welcome back, my pet,” she cooed at her. “I know I’m not the most pleasant of nightmares… but even nightmares can be preferable to reality. Wouldn’t you agree?”

Approaching her captive with a rather intimate distance, Thana reached out with her hands and drew them lightly down Sivvy’s sides like she was exploring the small woman’s curves. “Though if you asked me pretty please, I could consider kindness over cruelty today. Oh, what’s this?” Momentarily distracted, she slipped one of her hands into Sivvy’s pocket and withdrew an iLac phone.

The silly woman didn’t appear to have placed a password on the device, so Thana was able to open it right up. The first thing she did was pull up the contact list, which was remarkably short. Only two names were there. “My, you aren’t the most social of creatures, are you? Let’s see. Artemis and Amalie… Such fancy names! I wonder if one of them is a lover?” That thought intrigued her, so she opened up the woman’s text messages and began reading through them. Mostly it was a lot of friendly talk, but a number of the messages seemed to discuss guild business. The name Johann was used a couple of times, who seemed by the messages to be some sort of authority figure within their guild.

“Oooh, this Artemis fellow sure seems keen on you. Quite a number of invites to spend some time together. Is he cute? Let’s find out…” Thana flipped over to the photo gallery, hoping to find some pictures to torment Sivvy with. Instead, what she found was an impressive number of photographs of dead bodies. “Well, color me quite surprised… and impressed. That’s a serious body count you’ve got here. Just my kind of woman…”

“Quite curious, however. Here you came wanting to punish me for killing people, yet look at all these deaths you have on your hands. How does that give you the right to condemn me, I wonder? Quite the hypocrite if you ask me. Can you really tell me that it’s morally justifiable to solve murder with more murder? I don’t know what kind of guild you’re a part of, but it seems like the kind of place I might enjoy. Do you think they’d let me in?”
Please forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head.

Post by Ray Jyx 17th June 2020, 2:14 am

'Failed experiment' had her bracing herself for the backhand that normally accompanied it, though none came. Well, not then, anyway. Her eyes glanced at the tools he had set up, clear from any emotion, though her insides were twisting in fear. So this was it. He was finally following through on this threat to decommission her and apparently would use her body to repair more successful clones. She suddenly wanted to beg for her life. Her mind was confused, longing to go back to what seemed to be unreal now, or at least not to be plunged into the darkness of the unknown. There was no way to know what awaited her in death. The backhand came later when her eagerness to please overrode her ability to follow orders, so upon his final shut up and the strike of his hand, she did indeed fall silent like the obedient clone she was meant to be despite her terror.

Except the obedient silence was no longer for Dr. Raelin. When she pulled her eyes forward after reeling from the blow, she was back in the spa. Or was she back in the dream? Yeah, this felt like the dream, though her mind still tried to set the record straight. Had Dr. Raelin chosen not to keep her alive for the harvesting? Sivvy panted raggedly from her hanging spot, eyes tired. Her nightmare tormentor asked her a question she no longer knew the answer two. Was the reality of being decommissioned in the lab preferable to this or the other way around? She didn't know anymore. She didn't know anything anymore.

Numbing herself to the closeness and touches of her captor, the clone remained desolate and quiet in the tree, throat burning from all her screaming earlier. It barely registered on her face when Thana plucked up her iLac and started exploring it, though mentioning Artemis and Amalie did draw a sharp glance. The dichotomy between feeling that they were real but starting to believe they weren't was a painful jab in her chest, yet she couldn't help but feel protective of them even if they were phantoms. They were precious to her. She longed to dream of them again but didn't want this creature to have any access to them.

Thankfully the images on her phone provided a distraction from her friends but only brought complicated questions. Ethics was not her strong suit. Her mind worked too much with black and white. Frowning, Sivvy failed to be too ruffled by being called a hypocrite. "Yes, murder can be solved with murder," she answered simply, not a common line of thinking or admittance for a legal mage for sure. "Killing those who hurt and kill others for evil reasons permanently solves the problem. You're the problem, so there's no way I'd let you in," 7 explained sternly.

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.
Oh, Sivvy was not at all pleased when Thana started drawing up information about her little friends, the capture mage drawing up enough courage through her terror and exhaustion to glare at the dark mage passionately. Certainly a sensitive spot. Thana made note of it, but was quickly distracted by the impressive number of gruesome images in the woman’s phone. Had her pretty little captive killed each of these victims? How delicious. She voiced her meaningless ruminations aloud, more out of an effort to keep torturing the woman than anything else, and Sivvy gave the most surprising response of stating that she did believe murder was an acceptable method of rooting evil out of the world.

    Evil like Thana.

The woman smirked deeply, pleased as though the clone had just given her the highest of compliments. “Perhaps they won’t let me in.. but they let you in, don’t they?” Before Sivvy’s eyes, Thana’s body began to shift, taking on an exact replicated form of Sivvy herself. “It’s a little difficult to tell one of the guildmasters that they cannot enter their own domain,” she told her captive softly, her voice sounding exactly like Sivvy’s. “I could just stroll right in and take your place. All your secrets, all your memories… they’re all right here.” Thana gently tapped her temple, a sinister version of Sivvy with a malicious smile looking back at the real thing as though they were emotionally warped reflections of one another in a mirror. “No one would ever know the difference.”

With a small chuckle, she reverted back to her primary form and her voice returned to normal. “You poor thing. Life must be so hard living in the shadows of people who were better than you, failing to meet the expectations of those around you, struggling to comprehend emotions and never truly knowing what it feels like to live.” Reaching up a hand, Thana gently, almost lovingly brushed some of the hair back from Sivvy’s face, tucking it behind her ear. Without pulling her hand away, she slowly and seductively trailed her fingers down along Sivvy’s neck and shoulder, down past the side of her chest and along her side. “I could change that for you,” she told her softly, her voice thick with desire. “Even if this is a place you’ve been banished, some state of limbo while you sit in a dead heap in your creator’s lab… it doesn’t have to be a nightmare. It could be something far more pleasant. Don’t you deserve some happiness? Don’t you deserve to feel like everyone else?”

Thana closed the already miniscule distance between her and Sivvy, pressing their bodies against one another as her freehand continued to roam sensually along the clone’s hips and thighs. Her face leaned forward until her lips fell gently onto Sivvy’s neck where she began to kiss the clone along her collar and up to under her ear, Thana’s hot breath racing down along the clone’s flesh. “I don’t have to be the bad guy in this dream,” she whispered. “And if none of this is real, then you don’t have to be afraid of it. You don’t have to fight it, or resist it, because it’s all coming from you, from your deep seeded desire to understand… to experience… to connect… to be wanted.” Her lips found the lobe of Sivvy’s ear, giving it a gentle tug with her teeth to accentuate the word, her tone dripping with passion and yearning. “You deserve to do more than just live. You deserve to feel alive. So relax…”

“And let me do the rest.”
Please forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head.

Spa Day Empty Re: Spa Day

Post by Ray Jyx 18th September 2020, 5:47 am

As her captor morphed into a replica of the ambassador, at first, Sivvy only looked tired. If she'd expected a shock from such a thing, then Thana was unaware that she'd already encountered more than a few copies of herself, since she was a clone. There'd been a time when she thought only seven of them still lived, but she'd been proven wrong. Dr. Raelin had apparently not destroyed all of the failures and sold them for project funding when needed, so she had no idea how many identical copies of her were actually out running free. Point was, looking at a mirror image of herself was more common than it should be for anyone other than identical twins.

The dull look left her quickly, though. While it had been a some time since she'd thought about it, it did rustle up the incident with clone K. Kenrojima had been a disaster all around, where the island Dies Irae went to liberate from the clutches of a dark guild had been all but destroyed in the most heinous ways by the time they arrived, leaving them only the option of vengeance and absolute justice. If her attacker thought the black list pictures on her phone were a lot, would even someone like this balk at the sheer number of lives she took that day? Or would she be pleased? And what were the implications of either of the reactions? Either way, a clone of hers had been part of that dark guild, and the few survivors they'd found had been terrified of her due to her clone's doings. Even her friend Amalie had mistaken K for Sivvy and nearly lost her life over it. Stirring up that old guilt and fear of mistaken identity did flash hot like alcohol in a fired skillet. It was one thing to deal with it in small doses in random places, but to have another clone infiltrate her guild and hurt her friends was no small horror. It was even more terrifying to imagine this depraved woman doing it instead, the havoc she could bring to everything Sivvy held dear was staggeringly enormous. Yes, they would let in Thana if she looked like Sivvy. The ambassador didn't have to dignify it with a response. Knowing she was a liability to the whole guild was its own form of torment.

But wait, the guild wasn't real. Or was it? Sivvy was so confused. Should she take relief in the Solipsism overtaking her, or should she throw herself headlong into something she only desperately hoped was real?

Honestly, now it didn't matter. Since she'd made the clearly unwise decision to embrace humanity over her training and persue emotions and bonds, she'd now pay the price regardless of whether it was a dream or real. All that mattered was that it felt real and there was no way for her to turn that off, just like she had no way to stop the flood of emotions as a response. Once upon a time, the road Thana was taking Sivvy down wouldn't have bothered her. Sivvy had been through her share of unfortunate circumstances in this manner, but being able to detach and feel no worth in her body allowed for it to come and go without issue. Things had certainly changed since then. So much progress had been made in learning to accept herself and see the value her friends placed on her. The touches, the suggestion, her lips on Sivvy's flesh...it all made her skin crawl. Pure disgust and powerless fear swelled in her, bubbling out her throat in a feeble "D-Don't..."

Sivvy couldn't see this horrible woman or manifestation of her wounded psyche as anything but just that. No mental gymnastics could stamp down the bile trying to rise into her mouth. No matter what this vile creature said, this was not what she wanted. She didn't want this from anyone anymore, anyone other than one person, someone she sincerely clung to as a real, non-made-up man whom she cherished and mentally screamed for. He always said it was her choice. She didn't choose this! Surely she was not bringing this hell upon herself, but maybe she did deserve it as a punishment for failure. Failure is not an option. Even in the worst situations in the past, she'd known she could get out of it if she really wanted, even if it risked punishment. But this, this was different. She was helpless. She couldn't escape. This violence, this violation would be done to her and there was nothing she could do to stop it. If this was all in her decommissioned mind, then she was truly a cursed being and begged for the inky blackness of the voided nothing. "No!"

With tears squeezing from her eyes, she tried in vain to wrench her face and skin out of the tainted reach of the bad guy. "Please," the pinkette pleaded. "STOP!"

The panic grew until she found her screams again.

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.
    There would be no stopping.

Thana was a truly terrible person with no regard for anyone other than herself, and unfortunately Sivvy had become the type of prey that Thana wanted to toy with rather than dispose of outright. And normally it was more in her nature to have such horrendous acts preclude murder, but she couldn’t do that today. No, in this particular case it was far too simple to kill the woman after or during the act of violating her. Thana wanted Sivvy to have to live with the pain and confusion and trauma that she’d just inflicted on her, so for once she would leave her victim alive… but one could hardly call it mercy.

The protests went completely ignored as Thana continued to invade Sivvy’s personal space. She even took the Dies Irae mage’s phone and opened up the camera, using a bit of the spider webbing to hang it in front of them so it could record the entire ordeal. As time went on, Thana became more aggressive, the thrill of the future audience that might see the recording fueling her obsession with the spotlight.

It was not a quick experience, nor was it a painless one. By the time everything was said and done, Sivvy was covered in cuts and deep bruises were welling up all over her body. Her clothing was so disheveled and torn the pinkette may as well have been naked. Thana was thoroughly satisfied with herself, in more than one sense, and there was no mistaking her pleasure by the grin on her face. Leaving Sivvy to cope where she hung in the spider webbing,

Thana left her for a moment to wander the spa grounds until she found what she was looking for. When she returned, she’d brought with her a sturdy wooden crate that the spa company used for shipping and receiving purposes, and set it on the ground before Sivvy where it was still in full view of the camera. “You have been such a good sport, my dear,” she purred to her captive, tracing her nails almost lovingly along her cheek and further down her body. “The least I can do is ensure you make it back home.”

Clearly, that was what she intended the box to be for. It was a sizeable crate, but it did still seem a bit small to fit a body in. At least, not without mangling it a little further, which was exactly what Thana intended on doing. With the camera still recording, she cut Sivvy down from the webbing and dumped her into the crate. Sivvy probably could have fit uncomfortably in fetal position, but that did not stop Thana from breaking a couple bones in order to pack her more tightly into the box. Before closing it up, she took Sivvy’s phone and place it in the crate with her, with the camera still facing up toward the sky. The last thing the recording would capture before the lid shut out the light was Thana’s smiling face as she blew the device a kiss.

Once the lid was on, she secured it and cast a spell to ensure that no noise would leak out from the crate. The last thing Thana wanted was for Sivvy to start screaming and give herself away before reaching her destination, so she ensured that no one would be able to hear the woman from the outside. After that, she took a moment to clean herself up and put on some fresh clothing before taking the crate to a local shipping center where she purchased a label to have Sivvy shipped directly to the Dies Irae guild, with the addressee as Johann von Weiss. It would take probably two or three days for the package to arrive, but Thana had full faith that Sivvy would survive the journey without bleeding out or starving. And then, someday, they would see one another again.

It was only a matter of when.
Please forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head.
