During one of his many escapades to keep peace, Aiden had come across multiple rumors that intrigued him. He was always thirsting for more knowledge and sight into the unknown so when a rumor about a giant crystal that had appeared in Ace of Spades one day reached his ear, Aiden couldn’t resist going to check it out. He was a little curious about what kind of material this crystal would be and if it could be a valuable resource in building equipment and machines. But even more so, he was concerned about the safety of the town and its citizens. Although the crystal reportedly not acting hostile or hurting others, the fact of its randomness could not be overlooked as a potential threat to humanity.
Because of the unknown origins of this crystal and its potential for technology, Aiden put in a call for assistance to the Engineering Corp, hoping someone would answer his call and head to Ace of Spades. His excitement got the best of him and he was a little starry eyed as he boarded the first train out of town and started his journey to the crystal, deciding not to wait on a response from the Engineering Corp as his request said where he was going.
The train ride there he was dealing with paperwork and other things regarding his company. Since he took over as head, the company started to take more resources in so that they can work on building more projects, and it was his job to sign the paperwork agreeing to shipments. He signed a little bit, placing his hand on his chin. He didn’t choose to become the President of this company, it just kind of forced itself into his hands. When he joined the Rune Knights his adviser wanted him to join the Engineers so that the company could help but Aiden would refuse and join the Combat Corp because he didn’t want the company’s technology to be used for hurting people and war.
Stepping off the train a few hours later, Aiden stretched his arms above his head and stepped onto the platform, looking around and spying an empty bench. He would walk over to a nearby sandwich shop and buy himself a simple turkey and cheese before sitting down on the bench and began to eat. Since he was already in town, he decided he would wait until his partner got there.
He would be in his Rune Knight uniform, acting on official business and so that his comrade would know where to look.
He took a bite of his sandwich, tapping his foot as he watched the tracks, waiting for a train to arrive. He was a bit nervous that no one had answered his call or perhaps thought it was rude of him to leave without them. If they didn’t, he would have to research this crystal himself, and due to it’s unknown origins he would have liked some help on it.
