-the handwriting on the poster changes as the author does as well-
Oh boy, sorry about that. Hey there, my name is Dawn. Like my colleague so eloquently put it, were in a spot of danger here. You see, our town sits at the bottom of a basin. As you may know, a basin is a extent or an area of land where surface water from rain, melting snow or ice converges to a single point. We are literally surrounded by water here. About three days ago, a explosion rocked our small town. Two of our levees were damaged. Sabotaged, actually. You see, seeing the fragility of our situation, explosives are not permitted in the village. Somehow, someone managed to get enough into the town to put a size-able hole in the two levees. We can worry about the who-done-it, later. We would like help in sealing the holes before the weakened levees burst from the pressure of the water. After that is all said and done..help us find our traitor.
Enemies:
Because of the explosions, the normally docile animals in the forest outside of the city have gone feral and are liable to attack someone on sight.
Weak: Urion Monkeys.
These monkeys tend to travel in groups of two or three. They do not have many combat abilities, however, they have excellent gymnastic and reflex skills. Precision attacks are not recommended when fighting these animals.
Normal: Nightgale Cats.
These cats are no mere felines. Beware facing them at night, because they have almost perfected the art of hunting. Once these animals stand still, they are almost undetectable by the normal human eye. The best time to strike would be when they are moving, or during the day when their black fur is most noticeable.
Strong: Tynaran Bull.
This bull is related to one of the fabled animals of the Zodiac. They do not appear often, and when they do, they spell trouble for all, but mostly young women. This bull mostly ignores males and goes about it's business, but if it thinks there is a woman around, it will charge into a seemingly unstoppable rampage. It is to be avoided, because it is equipped with horns able to pierce thick tree trucks.
Reward:
Upon fixing the wall and helping find out who the traitor among the people of Scion and finding out why he or she did it, you will be treated to a feast by the townsfolk and be given 2000 jewels.
Ikuto and Yoru had walked down through the gates of the Mountain Village and found a tree to sleep in to wait for his friend, Indar. "This is my first job with a partner, Yoru. I wonder how it will go. Hope it's not a hard job or at least nothing goes wrong." Little did Ikuto know, he jinxed the situation of his job.
While waiting for Indar to come, Ikuto found many ways to entertain himself. First off was training. He punched a tree, though that was hard to find in the mountains. Leaves fell off, and Ikuto attempted to grab them all before they fell to the floor. Unfortunately, he gathered thirteen out of fifteen. But Ikuto continually tried again and again, catching more leaves each time.
After the punching trees started to hurt Ikuto's knuckles, he played his violin. Yoru even managed to fall asleep because of the sound his magical instrument produced. Ikuto played many of his favorite pieces. In that time, he even managed to compose a new piece.
His arm got tired after playing for three hours. So Ikuto fell asleep on a tree, with Yoru on his arms. He dreamed of meeting his father. All these happy things started happening in his dream. Then his father's voice got farther away. His father vanished...into thin air. Waking up, he wondered "Was that an omen? Hopefully it's just a bad dream."
Ikuto stared into the horizon, looking for any sign of a man who could be Indar. "Does it take the guy this long to appear? I know I only got up thanks to Yoru's Lynx Character Change, but he has Mythral Magic, from what I remember. He should be able to get up here with ease." Again, no Indar appeared. Ikuto had a bad feeling. He looked at his electronic watch and it told him the date. He was a day early. "CRAPPPPPPPP!" echoed throughout the land
