Seika had no idea how she had originally gotten here, but it was an absolute blast! The air was filled with yelling and cheers, and music- lots of music. Even though she loved screaming and dancing around, herself, the girl had to admit that this was some of the most chaotic partying she had ever seen. Usually, she got kicked out pretty fast when it was like, super busy! Since they all thought she was underage and shouldn't be drinking the sparkly fruity glasses she picked up. Regardless of whether or not they were correct, Seika felt petulant at that. But this seemed to be... what, a Magic Council Sponsored block party?? That had to mean it was open to like, all mages! And civilians, too. Of any age or anything! So the mage was happy to come along. She had her best friend, Aphelia, with her. The feline looked far less interested than her human counterpart; raves were not her scene. A warm bed and snacks would be more along the correct lines. However, the cat was willing to humor her friend for the day, and she had decided to take the shape of a blindingly bright white kitty in order to stand out even more from the crowd. Perhaps it would prove to be a poor decision once multicolored glitter and glow stick fluid got all over her fur, but... for now that wasn't an issue!
The first thing Seika saw was a stage, with a DJ Booth to the side of it where a man or woman with brightly colored hair seemed to be having the time of their life. Cheering, the mage clapped along to the music even though it was definitely not really the sitting around a campfire and stomping her foot along with the tune kind of a gig. Her excitement almost got the better of her when one of her favorite songs came on. Even though Seika wasn't a huge listener of music, she liked just about everything! Still, everyone had favorites, and when hers was playing, life just got ten times better! Anyway, it was clearly visible when she began to get a little too hyped up, because her body slowly phased into bubbles, her feet being the first to melt away along with the tips of her fingers and the ends of her hair. By the time she looked like most of her head and legs were missing, the girl had been spotted by a bunch of her fellow party goers. Aphelia hissed into her bond mate's ear, "Seika, we should leave," but the girl shook her head resolutely. "Nuh uh! I wanna stay 'n listen to the music!" Sighing tiredly, the cat put a paw to her forehead. She already wanted to go home.
Suddenly, the beat on the stage turned to something a little bit more electric. Surprised, the girl let out a small eep and inadvertently sent out a shower of bubbles that rained down on the area around her within several meters, essentially the stage area, popping on top of peoples' heads and the pavement. The speakers slightly sputtered before the song randomly switched tracks. Surprised at first, the DJ's face suddenly lit up with what seemed like an idea. Fumbling with something on the side of the booth, the musical sounds paused, and their voice rang out over the crowd. "There appears to be a slight rain coming on. I gotta go resolve technical difficulties with this CD, yo, are there any volunteers for the DJ Booth?" A loud chorus of cries came out from the crowd, and Seika glanced around, staring at the strangers. Wait, was that a stranger? She squinted in the direction of a person who looked familiar but not necessarily was a friend? Hm, did she know their name? Excitedly, the mage began to shove her way through the crowd, waving in the air and jumping up and down as she did so. "Hellooo! Do I know you? Yeah, you! I'm Seika, do I know you?" She tried to yell over the cheers and screams towards the possible friend.
