Although she wasn't exactly the type one would presume to be a bodyguard, Seika had completed many a protective mission in the past. Whether that consisted of shielding an ally while they rampaged around a public area was a whole other matter entirely. Either way, she was interested from the moment the job was posted on Elysium's guild board. Tugging at her bond mate's tail, Seika pointed at the slip. "Aphi! Look! It has "Cat" in the name!" Okay, so it was possible that she wasn't intrigued because of the aspect of protecting scared customers, suppliers, and the property itself.
Said feline did not seem amused by her friend's observation. "Yes, Seika," Aphelia yawned before slinking away, heading back for the stairs that led up to the quarters of guild members. "Aphi! Come back! Cmon, I wanna do this job. Feels like we haven't done a job in foreverrr," the girl whined, ignoring the snarl of the feline as she was picked up and carried back over to the job board. "Put me back down, you imbecile," Aphelia hissed, both of them ignoring the fact that if she actually so desired, she could completely teleport away. "Nuh uh! We're gonna do this job! Aphi! It'll be fun! There's cats involved!" She was fairly set on the mission, despite having read only a few words of its description. Aphelia rolled her eyes, but as she was swooshed around by Seika, she studied the board again. "Okay, we can do it, but don't be surprised if there are less cats than you expect," she finally agreed. They did need to make money and eat anyway, since not going on mission for a little while had begun to have its consequences.
When Seika arrived at the venue where she was supposed to meet someone named "Agil," she stared at the place with confusion. "Aphi? Are you sure you teleported us into the right city? Maybe this is a different Black Cat Lounge," she suggested gently. The feline smacked her across the face with a paw before jumping down from her arms and trotting up to the front entrance. "It's the right place, stupid," she said, and Seika huffed before stomping forwards. "Okay, well, I'm sure this place is cool anyway!" The mage couldn't stay angry for very long; it was just nice to get out and about again. Inside, she glanced around. To be completely honest, Seika wasn't really sure where to find this employer of hers, or even her job partner. After all, that Agil had informed her after she'd accepted the job, that she would be having a colleague on this mission, since two mages were better than one.
