"This is new", Yuno said as he picked up a piece of paper off of the mission board. He had the luxury today of beating most here and being able to pick out whatever mission he wanted in peace. Normally the board would be surrounded by groups of people trying to earn a living. Yuno on the other hand only did this for his own personally enjoyment. He didnt care much for the money he would make out of it , but just getting the experience he needed so that he can grow as a mage was enough. To him having power was great and it was definitely needed if one was to survive but not having the knowledge on how to act in tough situations would get you killed no matter how strong you think you are.
The mission he had taken today was one he was sure to be a walk in the park. All Yuno had to do today was to use the hate that was already in the young charges heart against him, and have him ruin the banquet that they were attending. It seemed simple enough, the only problem Yuno seen was having to act as though he was a legal mage. He was never to good at trying to be someone that he isnt, but for the sake of the mission he was going to give it a shot. He just didnt know where to begin , because he couldnt go dress as himself so he took a moment to ponder what he should wear. After abouy 10 minutes he was able to find just the perfect costume, once he was dressed he wasted no time leaving his home.
It didnt take him long to reach the spot where he was suppose to be meeting the young mage he would be escorting to the banquet. Yuno walked up to the door of a nice house and knocked on the door , a maid then proceeded to open the door and after a short exchange of words she took Yuno to the young mage. Yuno tried his hardest to be kind and always keeping a smile on his face , but it felt like he was dying from all the effort it took to maintain the image he was suppose to be. Yuno smiled as he shook the young man hand and then escorted him out of his home. Yuno didnt really think this plan all the way through because shortly into the journey it seemed like the young man wasent interested in talking. It took Yuno a tremendous amount of effort to even get the simplest of stuff out of him.
It wasent until Yuno had remembered a trick he had learned after reading a book about manipulating the human mind without them knowing. The first couple attempts were failures but that was only because Yuno hadnt fully remember the teachings of the book and had to rely on what he thought was right. Luckily for Yuno after a while the boy started talking like they were old friends , so when it came time to start influencing the boy is was as easy as making a sandwich. After dropping the boy off Yumo made his way back to the guild for a job well done.
