Lo, He is here, the not-a-dragon-dragon boy! [Drako Introduction]

"Okay, just play it cool..." Thought Drako, as he walked down the streets of Magnolia. While he had only moved to this place a fe years ago, he had loved every second of his living there. Mostly everyone was kind, the environment was nice, there was great food, and the scenery was beautiful. What more could he ask for? Well, the answer to that question was to join a certain guild, one by the name of Fairy Tail. He had wanted to join for years, and the only thing stopping the poor boy was himself. Every year he'd reach the front doors of the guild, but before he could knock, his body would freeze up, and when someone tried to invite him in, he'd ultimately just run (or heck, sometimes he was so nervous he'd sprout wings and fly) away. But not this time, this year would be different! This would be the year!

Drako would continue marching on toward the guild, humming to himself jovially as he did so and waving. As he walked, he swore he could hear the whispers of some of the tons folk, saying something like "Hey, do you think he'll finally do it?" "I dunno man, but if it's anything like last year, he'll knock someone down with a wing again and fly off" Regardless, he hashed these words off. He was determined to join the guild this year, even if it killed him!

As he got closer and closer to the door, he'd attempt to remember everything that he had learned in these past few years... But it was to no avail, but there was one lesson that stuck out. "Whenever you can't do something, just puff up your soul and smile until you can!", and while he my not remember where he heard those words from, that is exactly what he had sworn to do today.

Once he was at the door, Drako would smile, and rather than knock, he'd proudly push open the doors and shout "I AM HERE! AND I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN THE GUILD! PLEASE ACCEPT ME!" he shouted and hoped for the best. [WC: 356]

Usually when a door is shoved open, it swings freely, maybe even smacking against the walls on each side if pushed hard enough and there's nothing in the way. That was not the case for the hopeful recruit. Instead, one of the doors was met with resistance about a foot into the swing, then a weird noise happened. "Mmph!"

Percy had been quite shocked when the door he was reaching out to open swung at him and busted him in the face with its thick, wooden fury. Sturdy as he may be, it knocked his balance off, sending him staggering backward. The behavior in Fairy Tail could get rowdy sometimes. There were quite a few boisterous characters that spent time within these walls, and at first, he half expected to see his teammate Magnus standing there, laughing and calling him small, clapping him on the back harder than most people should. It wasn't Magnus, or anyone else he knew from the guild, but the person was loud like Magnus, judging by the screaming.

A hand rose to his nose. Watery, mismatched eyes beneath mismatched hair glanced at who busted through the doors, though nothing in his face was angry. The tears were just a natural reaction to his nose getting hit so hard. A little stunned and surprised, but mostly curious and friendly, he peered at the newbie. "H-Hello?" came his muffled reply from behind his hand, which he was certain was bleeding. "Please, c-come in..."

With the thrill of excitement and the prospect of joining his favorite guild, Drako had a momentary lapse of judgement where he had completely forgotten that there may actually be someone on the other side of the door. Unfortunately, with the sheer amount of excitement flowing through his very being, his higher thinking had temporarily ceased to function. However, when he forced open the doors and heard the "Mmph", he knew he had messed up.

In a slight panic, he'd look around to see who he had hit. At first he was worried that he had accidentally fully squashed someone with the door, thinking "..Ohmystars I just killed someone", but when he saw a young man on the floor who, thank goodness, was NOT "squashed", he breathed a slight sigh of relief before profusely apologizing.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hit you! It was a mistake,I was just really excited to be here!" said the boy. [color=#cc0000]After noticing the tears flowing from his eyes and that the mage was covering his face with his hand, Drako immediately offered to help him up and continue to apologize for wounding him on his first day.

Drako would stay focused on the boy which he had unintentionally wounded until he heard this young woman ask him the question. It took a few seconds for her words to register with him due to the fact that he had already injured someone despite not even being in the guild hall for five minutes, but when he did realize that he was being addressed, he turned his head to face the stranger. "Oh, hello! Of course you're allowed to ask, I'd be happy to tell you." he said as he angled the rest of his body slightly more towards her. "My reasons aren't especially glorious or vain. Long story short, I've heard a lot of things about this guild and about how helpful they are, about how much everyone.. or.. mostly everyone, has benefited from you guys, taking jobs both big and small and I want to be a part of that. I want to help people and be a part of this guild no matter what goes down. I've always thought wizards were cool, but wizards who help people? There's nothing more amazing! I know it my not be the best motivation, but it's mine. He stated gladly with a smile on his face as he spoke to her.

Drako would continie smiling as he listened to her reply, however, that smile shifted into a face of confusion when she had said "You pass!" He wondered if this was an exam of some sort, but she continued before he could ask, and this of course got the boy very excited.
"Oh sweet, thank you very much! And yes, I'd love to give you a demonstration! Drako would focus on the form of the mighy poison dragon for a second, and channeling magic power into his arms, a transformation would begin to occur "Dragon Takeover: Scaled Arms!" The boy said, and as he did so, his arms became significntally larger and covered in red scales. The same happened to his hands, which now very clearly had sharp claws that seemed coated with something. "I'm a takeover user, Dragon Takeover. I scale it back a lot because transforming into a full sized dragon to win a fight every time probably would scare people and would draw way too much attention, but I've gotten pretty good at staying at a decent size, even when using a full takeover." He said joyfully with a hint of pride at the accomplishment.

Percy, who had apparently lost consciousness with his eyes open moments after speaking to the newbie that whacked his nose with the door, came back to his senses just as the new person demonstrated their magic. His head twisted to register that Althea, one of the aces, was here now, which was good since he'd been completely unuseful. It was for the best anyway. Percy couldn't admit him to the guild roster or stamp him, so in the end, Fairy Tail staff would be needed.

Even though he hadn't responded to anyone or otherwise reacted to anything beyond inviting the boy inside, suddenly his eyes widened and he shouted "Whoa!" as the new recruit demonstrated his skills. Yes, it was an overreaction and way louder than Percy usually was, but coming out of his stupor and feeling a little dizzy had him acting out of sorts. Even so, concussed or not, the two-toned man loved magic and turned into a fanboy any time he saw it. "You have red dragon arms. Claws and all," he smiled dazedly, feeling the rush of witnessing new magic but also the pang of jealousy from having no magic of his own, despite his longing for it. "Neat."

Having heard an unexpected and enthuastic reply, Drako would seem shocked for a second before looking over. After seeing that it was the boy who he had accidentally struck with the door, Drako would be glad to see him alive and as well as someone who was freshly smacked could be. He'd angle himself more towards the boy,
"Aye! It's some pretty effective stuff. he stated proudly. "Sorry about that door by the way, I didn't stop to think that there may be someone behind it."

Hearing this, Drako would smile at the reactions. Considering that most people didn't believe him when he told them his magic, he was glad to find an accepting bunch, and while it would have been easy to prove all doubters wrong with a full takeover, the boy didn't want to terrify anyone or destroy any cities.
Once the man had heard her mention the tattoo, he immediately positioned himself towards, the excitemeemt was practically oozing off of him.
Taking off his overcoat and shirt and revealing his scaled, well toned, manly abs, he'd disable his takeover  point at his xiphoid process. "Uhm.. I hope this isn't too weird a request, but I'd like it right here. I figure if I'm ever in a really tough battle that I can't end swiftly, there's a chance that my shirt will get ripped, and if tht happens it will probably be a pretty low hour for me. I'll always remember that I'ma  Fairy Tail wizard, but seeing the emblem here will remind me to keep my head up and to not give up." While the boy wasn't exactly fond of taking his shirt off in front of the people who he had just meant, he had thought about this for a while and thought that his reasoning perfect. Plus, it'll be a useful place for jobs which require being hidden or sneaking around, as a guidless wizard is less suspicious than a guilded one.
