Magic Name: Necromancy Magic Type: Summon ● Solitary ● Character can have up to 4 Summon spells active at once. Description: Necromancy encompasses spells that manipulate death and necrotic energy for various effects, such as raising the dead or inflicting malicious hindrances upon others. This form of magic faces prejudice wherever aspiring necromancers practice it since observers tend to view it as unnatural, disrespectful toward the dead, and simply evil. For that reason, it tends to attract the most unruly of society but also some of the most gifted and educated given the difficulty of practicing necromancy on top of the lack of formal studies dedicated toward the field, often requiring wizards to constantly study and experiment for themselves if they wish to improve their understanding. Books that exist on the subject often get passed around underground between learned necromancers or stolen from the forbidden archives of sprawling libraries. Given that practicing with necromancy often requires one to desecrate the dead, it has become something of a rare knowledge in Fiore.
Fausta specializes in the path of necromancy that focuses on raising the dead to a state of undeath and binding them to her will. The spells she uses for combat don't typically revolve around actually raising the dead, however. Instead, she prepares all her undead beforehand and uses her magic to summon them to the battlefield for a limited time. The undead creatures she summons understand Fausta's will through a telepathic understanding. To the summon, it feels as if her voice constantly bombards the mind and strongly compels the undead being to act upon her wishes. Despite lacking a true will of their own, these undead possess some sentience of various ranges depending on the power of the summoned creature, the length it had been dead before resurrection, as well as the allowed freedom given to it. The undead can range from anything with a corporal form such as a skeleton to the intangible such as ghosts and can come as dumb as a zombie or as intelligent as a vampire. Fausta often takes the liberty to improve upon her minions by infusing necrotic magic into their weapons and bodies as well.
Unique Abilities:
- Lich Necromancy ● Fausta sacrificed her humanity in exchange for longevity and natural power by becoming a lich, an undead spellcaster. This great increase in power has not only made it easier to cast spells but also increased the rate at which she gathers magic power. ● +40% to MP Cost Reduction ● +1% MP Regeneration Each Post.
- Banshee:
Name: Banshee Rank: D Grade: Normal Melee Damage: 5 HP Summon HP: 50 HP Range: 15 Meters Speed: 15 MPS Duration: 3 Posts Downside: N/A Description: Uniquely, Fausta does not create a portal to summon the banshee but instead releases it from her body. She opens her mouth and exhales deeply, letting the ghostly creature free. The banshee takes the form of a woman with translucent skin and a white gown overshadowed by the long abyssal hair that flows down her back. She stands at only 5’6” and appears ready to cry at any moment, with the white glow of her eyes unable to hide the torment she perpetually goes through. A regal sash and jewels adorn her dress, suggesting she once belonged to wealth before her death. In fact, she met her end at Fausta’s hands. Rather than raise the woman’s corpse, however, the lich raised her spirit to suffer eternal torment in one horrendous experiment to see how much misery can strengthen the ethereal creature. To ensure the banshee can comprehend its own pain, Fausta has ensured she retains much more of her sentience than the other undead but nonetheless keeps a tight enough grip around her to keep the banshee obedient. "The peace of the grave is too good for you." -Fausta - Ability 1:
Name: Life Infusion Rank: D MP Cost: 20 MP Category: Supportive ● Buff Type: Single Target Healing: 40 HP Range: 60 Meters Speed: 60 MPS Duration: 3 Posts Downside: N/A Description: The banshee holds out her arm in the direction of her target. The arm gradually loses its shape as it stretches in the form of a long line of mist until the hand reaches its target. The banshee infuses its life force into the one it touches, healing 40 HP and increasing spell damage done by the target by 50% for 1 post. The banshee must keep her hand on the target for the remainder of the post.
- Ability 2:
Name: Wail Rank: D MP Cost: 20 MP Category: Auxiliary ● Immobilization ● Debuff Type: Area of Effect Damage: N/A Range: 30 Meters Speed: 30 MPS Edit:: D Rank AoE Speed is 15 MPS, please lower this accordingly. Duration: 3 Posts Downside: N/A Description: The banshee lets out a terrible wail for 3 posts or until silenced for whatever reason. Non-undead caught in the area will feel a deathly fear that prevents them from moving for 1 post. This effect cannot occur 2 posts in a row and can only occur again if the target is caught in the range of the attack again. Additionally, the wail weakens those affected and lower their magic resistance by 50% for as long as they are caught within the range of the wail.
- Sisyphus:
Name: Sisyphus Rank: D Grade: Normal Melee Damage: 5 HP Summon HP: 50 HP Range: 15 Meters Speed: 15 MPS Duration: 3 Posts Downside: N/A Description: Fausta waves her hand in the direction that she wishes to summon the lesser lich known as Sisyphus, causing a portal to warp open for the creature to emerge. Once a short human, this undead stands at only 5'6" and wears a tattered, dark robe that covers everything but its boney hands and pale wrinkled face from which a pair of sunken eyes glow with a nefarious redness. He carries a book with him, one written by Fausta and named the Necromancer's Organon which she intended to use as a teaching device for less experienced necromancers. Though much older than Fausta, Sisyphus proved the lesser of the two liches when she defeated him. She bound him to her will but displays difficulty in controlling him due to his intelligence, though, confiscating his staff has weakened him considerably. Nonetheless, he shows incredible intellect and agency compared to Fausta's other summons. When not in combat, she keeps him busy with aiding her experiments but he occasionally finds the time to study from the book his master gave him. "Theories will only get you so far, however; necromancy requires unparalleled dedication as well as a propensity for sullying one's hands in corpses." -Necromancer's Organon - Ability 1:
Name: Coffin Rank: D MP Cost: 20 MP Category: Defensive ● Buff Type: Single Target Durability: 120 HP Range: 60 Meters Speed: 60 MPS Duration: 3 Posts Downside: N/A Description: Sisyphus waves his hand at a friendly target, causing a purplish, transparent dome barely larger than the target to form around that person. This dome moves with the target and ripples when hit. Additionally, as Sisyphus took up defensive spells as his specialty in life, he gains a 50% buff to spell durability for as long as this spell is active.
- Ability 2:
Name: Necromancer's Organon Rank: D MP Cost: 20 MP + Spell Rank MP Edit:: The Additional spell cost applies to the effect. Please move this part to your spell description. Category: Auxiliary ● Multiplication ● Buff Type: Single Target Damage: N/A Range: 60 Meters Speed: 60 MPS Duration: Target Spell Duration Edit:: This is a circumvention of durations, please state an actual duration equal or less than this spells rank duration. Downside: N/A Description: Sisyphus flips open his book while observing one of Fausta's spells or one of her summons' spells. After quickly reading a few passages referring to the spell, the lesser lich casts a copy of that spell as long as it is no higher than D-rank. Additionally, the insight the book offers Sisyphus increases his spell damage by 50% for the duration of the copied spell. Edit:: Please also state that a spell can only be copied once per post as well as the amendment mentioned above stating the additional spell cost being paid.
- Skeletal Archer:
Name: Skeletal Archer Rank: D Grade: Normal Melee Damage: 5 HP Summon HP: 50 HP Range: 15 Meters Speed: 15 MPS Duration: 3 Posts Downside: N/A Description: Fausta waves her hand in the direction that she wishes to summon the skeletal archer, causing a portal to warp open for the creature to emerge. The skeletal archer stands at 5’8” and appears just as it sounds: a walking skeleton. It wears an old leather cowl along with patches of its old green military uniform clinging to its bones. The leather has mostly remained intact around the upper torso, parts of the arms, and especially the waist but has fallen apart elsewhere. A brown leather belt and a matching arrow quiver hang around its waist and back respectively, with several multiple arrows always found within the latter. It carries a rusty, bronze dagger in a sheath around its waist along with a surprisingly preserved shortbow made of yew. Fausta found the skeleton of this archer in the older sections of Era’s catacombs and took a liking to it after discovering how easy she could control it. It completely lacks any strong desire of its own and does not speak but still possesses its former abilities. She suspects it might have belonged to a group of elite corps of archers but has not yet delved into its mind to learn more about it out of lack of interest. To ensure it can still properly handle a bow, however, she enhanced the skeleton to allow it to pull a bowstring despite a lack of muscles. "How far you've come from being mere canon fodder." -Fausta - Ability 1:

- Cemetery:
Name: Cemetery Rank: D+ Grade: Normal Melee Damage: 7 HP Summon HP: 75 HP Range: 25 Meters Speed: 25 MPS Duration: 5 Posts Downside: N/A Description: Fausta waves her hand in the direction that she wishes to summon the monster known as Cemetery, causing a portal to warp open for the creature to emerge. An amalgamation of several different corpses sewn together, Cemetery stands at ten feet tall as a failed experiment of Fausta's creation. She attempted to make a creature of great intellect, strength, and magical prowess. Instead, she created a dumb sack of flesh made up of several tortured bodies barely held together by stitches and magic; speaking of which, she sadly learned that the hulking brute cannot utilize all the magic she infused him with in order to give him undeath in the first place. Necromancy runes dot the sickle and cleaver in his hands, as well as some spots of his outer and inner body but he can only harness a fraction of the necrotic magic coursing through him. Despite his failed status, Cemetery earned the honor as Fausta's first undead creation to possess a unique name and still possesses an impressive strength compared to the more generic undead creatures she commands. Though humanoid, his height and roundish form prevent him from wearing any armor but he possesses ample strength to the wield a large, enchanted cleaver in his left hand and a hook in the right, with the latter bound to his hand by a chain. "It's an abject failure." -Fausta - Ability 1:
Name: Death Cleave Rank: D+ MP Cost: 30 Category: Offensive ● Debuff ● Drain Type: Single Target Damage: 60 HP Range: 90 Meters Speed: 90 MPS Duration: 5 Posts Downside: N/A Description: The runes on Cemetery's cleaver glow with a chilling blue before he slams either down on the target or on the ground facing the target. In the latter case, a blue beam of energy flies across the ground, sending chunks of rock and debris flying before it hits its target. This necrotic energy will explode upon hitting something substantial, causing 60 HP damage with pain that resembles burn damage. Additionally the malevolent magic weakens the target, draining the unfortunate individual for 5% of their base MP each post for five posts while also reducing their resistance to magic damage by 75%.
- Ability 2:
Name: Experimental Perfection Rank: D+ MP Cost: 30 MP Category: Defensive ● Buff ● Counter-Effect Type: Single Target Durability: 270 HP Range: Self Speed: Self Duration: 5 Posts Downside: -100% Base Range ● -100% Base Speed ● +50% Base Durability Description: Cemetery raises his arms up and roars as he tries to tap into the power of the necromancy runes Fausta placed inside his body. Although Fausta considers him a failed experiment, these runes allow him to reach the potential she had hope for from him for a limited time. A cold, deathly blue aura covers his body and his weapons, turns his skin even more sickly, and produces a chilling blue glow in his eyes.
Firstly, the aura protects Cemetery for 270 HP damage. It also enhances the effectiveness of any dark magic from him, increasing spell damage by 75%. Finally, it puts him into such an unstable condition that immobilizing him becomes a challenge in itself, meaning that non-auxiliary spells which would ordinarily immobilize him instead cause a 50% debuff to his speed.
