Personality:
Xaq is typically a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, but he knows when to be serious... most of the time. He is easily distracted, often by bugs, things that flicker, and things that spin. He is baffled by the way some people can meet and instantly become friends. Xaq has a brave side, but he knows when he is in over his head... most of the time. Though he has no talent when it comes to music, he is often seen hanging around taverns or concert halls, waiting for the musicians to start playing. He does not particularly enjoy or dislike meeting new people, as long as they are interesting. He will usually just ignore anything that disinterests him. He believes that life is all about adaptation and diversity. However, even with this view, drastic changes nearly drive him mad. Gradual changes, casual life; that is what Xaq believes is most important.

Xaq is typically gentle and quite friendly in his everyday life. But he tends to be goofy and silly, so most people make him out to be somewhat of a joker. He is not very fond of reading, but he will read if he were bored enough. He is a man who always seeks revenge against whoever harms someone precious to him. Xaq is extremely loyal to any of his friends and family. He has an easy-going attitude and he can usually blend with any people nice to him and his friends with a nearly natural ease.

Xaq is a natural born leader. His people skills have helped him gain many friends. He is a characteristically extroverted, outgoing person. Xaq has always been quick to make friendships and connect with strangers. He has a lot of confidence in himself and his skills. However good a leader Xaq is, he has a much greater preference towards being a follower. He takes orders well and carries them out as best he can. But he will only follow a good leader. Because of his natural set of leadership skills, he knows what to look for in a good leader. If he does not see those traits, he will either help them along or take over and lead by example. People often follow leaders simply because Xaq will follow them.

Given his natural leadership, people often assume that his strategies in battle are magnificent. He laughs at the thought of someone sitting around, thinking of ways to defeat their opponent. His philosophy in a fight? “Charge!” Absolutely no thought about strategy except “Hit it. Hit it hard. Hit it harder.” and “Kill it with fire!” He occasionally has a “bright” idea, but they do not always work out the way he intends them. His fighting style typically has a bit of flair to it, but reflects his personality almost impeccably. Without having a reason to fight, Xaq will not take his opponent seriously. He is most serious when he is defending or protecting someone or something. He also holds a belief that a battle is not measured by how much fame or power one gets from it, but by what is protected.

Likes:

• New Foods - Xaq has always enjoyed tasting new foods, but they don't always enjoy him.
  
• Fun - Xaq, like most people, enjoys having fun. His idea of "fun" varies, but it usually includes jokes, practicing, or climbing.
  
• Challenges - Xaq is always seeking to improve. What better way is there than a challenge?

Dislikes:

• Fools - He has a strong dislike for those who believe that they are completely and utterly right no matter how incorrect they really are.
  
• Pointless fights - Xaq will do practically anything to avoid a pointless fight. Pointless fights often create negative feelings, and are perfect ways to get hurt for no reason.
  
• Loud Noises - Loud noises are annoying. Especially random shouting.

• His motivation is a sense of justice - especially the feeling he gets when justice is served - and the look of happiness on people's faces.

• Finding the monster that destroyed the village where he was born.

• Attention - While Xaq is a fairly extroverted guy, he's often afraid of drawing too much attention to himself.
  
• Captivity - Xaq is afraid of cages and other things that can capture and prevent him from moving around.
  
• Isolation - His parents "abandoned" him when he was 5. Since then, he's been afraid to isolate himself from his friends.

Medium Length, light brown, it gathers in locks - most of which are swept back, but two locks fall down in front, framing his face.
Eyes: Hazel
Skin Tone: Zak has slightly tanned skin.
Appearance: Since he only weighs 68kg and is 178cm tall, this gives him a lean frame. But he's not just skin and bones. Keeping active in the wilderness helped him develop and keep his muscle tone. His Hazel eyes have a piercing gaze that seem to peer right through to your heart, but don't really seem to look at anything in particular. His dirty-blond hair is usually shaggy and comes down to the nape of his neck. Other than his eyes, nothing really draws attention to his face.

Zak's usual outfit includes a carnelian red torso-piece of light armor, an armor sleeve down his left arm, a bandanna to keep his hair out of face, denim pants, and a black, skin-tight T-shirt. He wears knee pieces, which are also colored carnelian, to help protect him in the wilderness and in battle. In more formal occasions, he has black leather armor for his torso and a red cotton sleeve to cover his scar. In all occasions, he wears black leather boots. These boots are waterproof as well as comfortable, though the traction leaves something to be desired.
