Job Title: Monster Hunt: The Legendary Bear
Rank: 100 Year
Category: Monster Hunt
Job Location: Anywhere except towns.
Solo Word Count: 11,000
Group Word Count: 22,000
Additional Requirements: N/A
Job Description: There is a standing bounty out for Legendary animals. They are mundane animals that have grown and evolved over time, perhaps through a bit of magical exposure or human interference, into larger apex creatures that dominate the entire ecosystem they reside in. They disrupt the natural order of things and make life in the area difficult if they don't destroy it entirely. These rare creatures are scattered throughout Earthland.
This particular hunt is for a Legendary Bear. It all starts when rumors of a Legendary Bear start spreading in monster hunting circles, a bear so large that it can swallow a whole family all at once and has brutally mauled or eaten all that have tried to capture or slay it so far. The Hunter's Association will pay anyone who can bring back its head as a trophy. They have offices all over, so no matter where its found, payday is close by.
Tracking it isn't easy, but it's not impossible. It's huge after all! The presence of a Legendary Bear usually means a huge spike in bear populations, with increasing violence and aggressiveness of bears the closer they get to the Legendary Bear. There's also a telling increase in bear attacks on people traveling or camping. In general, the behavior of the local bears changes, becoming more frenzied and bold, driving people to barricade in towns for safety. Fish supplies in the rivers and lakes nearby dwindle at an alarming rate. Very rarely, someone might spot an old but very large paw print. Once the rumors have taken you to the right place, the hunt is on!

Reward: 200,000 jewel and the head of a Legendary Bear on a plaque.

Enemies:
- Mad Bear x5
These bears are completely normal, but just seem grumpy. They're venturing too close to humans on purpose, either for food or for carnage. In fact, the sight of humans draws them instead of discouraging them. However, should they meet resistance or injury, they'll retreat, most likely in the direction of the Legendary Bear!
Enemy Rank: Normal - Aggro Bear x10
These are black and brown bears that have grown a bit bigger than the typical bear and have peculiar bite wounds on their necks. Despite their slightly larger size, they seem normal...except for the dimly glowing eyes of red and the fact that they are nearly rabid with rage. They will not hesitate to attack and won't slow even when mortally wounded. It seems they are on their way to becoming Legendary Bears themselves, and having this many of them would be a natural disaster on a whole different scope. They also won't go down easy, and their bites seem to inflict a temporary berserk effect on those affected.
Enemy Rank: Strong - Legendary Bear
A colossal bear that while on all fours stands 150 meters tall and even more terrifyingly massive when raised on two back feet! Its eyes glow red and its fur is dark violet and insanely thick. It acts like a shield that not even a mage's strongest piercing spell can penetrate. Its roar will bowl over as many as ten adult trees just from the force, and its claw swipes do H+ damage each hit. It may be large, but it's also surprisingly fast and agile to be such an angry bear. It will prove a challenge for even the strongest mages.
Enemy Rank: Boss
Enemy HP: 7,000
Reward: 200,000 jewel and the head of a Legendary Bear on a plaque.
