Deliver My Letter!

Ikuto walked around, inspecting the guild request board. There wasn't much excitement in the guild today. Yoru was also looking at the request board. Ikuto spotted an easy job, that should be done within a day. "Hmmm. This job.....should be easy. We'll take this on Yoru." Yoru agreed. With that they left the guild, locating the client in Magnolia Town. Several hours later, Ikuto and Yoru met the client at his house. The client said "Ahh. Come on in. We'll talk about my request peacefully, okay?" Ikuto agreed and went inside. The client introduced himself as Blaine Winston. He explained the situation: "I have this friend. We used to be good friends until she moved away. Years later, I heard she became a famous celebrity. And a few days ago, I was told she's coming to Magnolia Town. Her name is Melody Amaya. I fell in love with her during grade school, although I couldn't confess to her. So I beg of you, deliver her this letter!" handing Ikuto a letter.

Understanding the situation, Ikuto replied: "Yes sir. I'll get your request done within a day sir." Mr. Winston retorted: "Thank you. Good thing too! She's supposedly in town today." Ikuto left, wandering the streets, looking for a celebrity. "Well, Yoru. This should be easy with your assistance!" "Of course, sir. We might even get some fish because of how fast we could finish this." Ikuto ignored Yoru. He walked around, asking people if they know of a celebrity that's within Magnolia Town. Most gave them a shake of their heads. Others told them no. But one said "Yea. From what I've heard, she's at the town harbor right now." Ikuto and Yoru headed toward the harbor. Ikuto saw someone a crowd. He went over and tried to go through the fans, but it was impossible. "Dammit Yoru, how to we move these innocent people without hurting them?" Yoru was silent, thinking of a solution, at the moment. "We could kidnap her, Ikuto. Bodyguards and guards can't do much on you." Ikuto looked at Yoru. "Yoru...you're the craziest friend ever. We're not here to capture her. But maybe infiltrating, on the other hand." A crazy smile went across Ikuto's face.

So, in secret, Ikuto and Yoru stalked Ms. Melody. It wasn't hard, for all he had to do was act like he was a fan. They followed her to a theater, where the guards stopped everyone else from following her in. "Anyways Yoru. This should be close enough, right?" Ikuto asked. Yoru nodded. They left the crowd, looking for another way to enter the theater. After searching for a while, they soon discovered there was no other way besides the main entrance. So Ikuto and Yoru climbed to the roof, jumped down from the roof, and made it into the theater entrance. Many fans spotted Ikuto and Yoru but the guards were to busy handling and making the media keep their distance. "Next job was locating the star, Ms. Melody." Ikuto thought. Unfortunately, Ikuto never infiltrated a theater so this was hard for him. After a feel times of going in circles, Yoru found a room that said "Amaya Melody" Ikuto snickered and thought "Kinda obvious isn't it?" He knocked on the door.

The person who answered looked at Ikuto. There was an awkward staring contest between the two for a few seconds. Then said "Ms. Melody? Can we talk in somewhere private?" She first responded no. But when Ikuto showed her the letter, her expression changed. She looked like she was near-crying. Ikuto didn't want to make her cry and catch someone's attention. So he gave her the letter. She accepted it with both hands, ripped it open, and read it. After a minute or two, she started sniffling, with tears running down her face. Ms. Melody asked Ikuto "How did you manage to get in? With the tight security, it should be impossible." Ikuto replied, exposing to her everything, "I'm a mage ma'am, I have my ways. Although getting out will be a bit of a nuisance." Ms. Melody suggested that she assist Ikuto in getting out. They walked together out the main entrance. A guard grabbed Ikuto's arms, starting "Ms. Melody, I'm sorry. This brat somehow manag-!" But Ms. Melody made him unhand Ikuto. She lied, telling Ikuto was a fellow performer. And surprisingly everyone somehow managed to believe it!

Thanking Ms. Melody for her help, he walked towards the home of his client, Blaine Winston. When Ikuto arrived at his house, the door was already open. Ikuto walked in to see Blaine getting ready a money sack full of Jewels. Ikuto spoke "Mr. Blaine Winston, I finished the job, sir." Mr. Winston asked Ikuto to sit down. When Blaine Winston gathered the Jewels, he explained how he knew Ikuto was coming back. "The love of my life, sent me back a letter, with her fastest transportation. In the letter, she wrote how she missed me, how she had a lot of fun back in grade school with me. I was so happy that I was able to finished what I started years ago. Thanks to you, sir mage." Ikuto, acting all modest, told him it was just all part of the daily job. With that, Ikuto received the Jewels and walked home. "Today was a good day, Ikuto-kun." stated Yoru. "Yea, Yoru. It was."
