Advanced technology, Time-Travel, and more can be found below. We hope you enjoy this new set of items and find something for you and your characters to use and enjoy.
- Gimmick:
Name:
SHG-IV
Rank:
Weak Item
Type:
Glasses
Description:
Smart Holographic Glasses - Model 4 are special glasses, powered by a complex computer made of magical lacrimas. They need to work with the Ilac, available in the Neutral Zone, to unlock its full potential. This nifty device can be used to call the contacts from your Ilac, it has a built-in microphone and earphone. It can also take pictures and film what you are looking at through powerful cameras in the frame of the glasses. The most amazing feature of this device must be its holographic projection on the glasses themselves, which can play back videos or enable you to look at pictures with ease. It can also be used to highlight objects or even people. This makes it easier to find your keys or it can aid in combat by using the markers.
Abilities:
Name: HUD
Description: The built-in computer has the capability to assess the strength and health of opponents, showing both as bars above their heads. This works on non-essential NPCs, and, with OOC permission, on Players, player-owned NPCs, or Event NPCs. If permission is denied it would show an error message.
Name: Advanced Targeting
Description: The SHG-IV can analyze opponents and find weak spots in their armor and defenses. The wearer can exploit this by hitting these spots to bring down the opponent quicker. This can only be used in PvP or against Players, player-owned NPCs, and Event NPCs when OOC permission has been given.

- Gimmick:
Name:
IIC
Rank:
Weak Item
Type:
Watch
Description:
IIC stands for Infinite Improbability Chronometer. A guy was just handing these out at a sci-fi convention in Magnolia Town, claiming each one would "get anyone who wound it into their own space station somewhere out in the universe". It was a very specific way he always said it, and he had a reason. The person using an IIC never actually physically moves. The universe around them does, and the person simultaneously exists in every location in every dimension of the universe for just a moment before they suddenly only exist in one place again: the space station. Other than that, the man couldn't- or wouldn't- explain why several IICs existed, why the space stations were just empty and floating around, or why he didn't have the actual coordinates to any of them, or anything even near them. Each IIC he handed out looked identical, but they always led to their individual designated stations. There was no more information than that. Eerie, right? Still, what harm can there be in investigating? Maybe the mystery as to why they were abandoned can be solved ... for better or for worse. Might at least be a nice place to hide yourself or your stuff ...
Abilities:
Name: So Long!
Description: By winding the watch exactly forty-two times, the user and anything they touch will be zapped out of Earthland and immediately into their own personal space station. Asking the watch "What's the ultimate question?" will send the user back to the exact spot they warped from. Whether any time passes on Earthland while they are gone depends on if the user lets the watch tick on while on the station or not. Also, when they first arrive either in the space station or back in Earthland, the user could experience some infinitely improbable side effects which might either temporarily change the environment around them or their own physical selves. There's also a surprisingly high improbable probability of a giant whale keeping you company for at least thirty seconds. He can talk, but he's quite baffled by his sudden pop into existence, doesn't know he's a whale, and is gone before he can get used to it all. The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC or an Event NPC.

- Lacrima - Claimed by Aiden Ainsley :
Name:
Sunstorm Slayer
Type:
Dragon Slayer
Item/Energy needed to reach Force:
Fire, Lightning, Radiation
Slayer Can Control:
Flames, Plasma, Electricity, Radiation
Description & Appearance:
The Sunstorm Slayer Lacrima is a sphere that seems to contain an ever-rotating, blazing inferno of unprecedented proportions, twisting, swirling, bending, before being set alight once more, a flame that appears as if made to burn eternally roaring within. The Lacrima is quite hot to the touch and seems to radiate both a perpetually intense light and heat. Even so much as simply touching it is no easy feat.
History:
The Sun. A source of nearly unlimited energy. Since time immemorial, humanity has sought to harness the power for itself, and in a wide variety of forms, humans have done so since the dawn of agriculture. Using it as the basis for magic, technology, religion, the importance of this celestial body is clear. Though, of course, humanity has never truly approached the full potential of such a celestial body. Not in the slightest. Yet, it is obvious that it has dreamed of doing so. One man, in particular, Dyson was his name, not blessed with the inherent powers that magic brought, theorized that given enough time and resources, humanity could rely on technology to harness the full power of a star, conceptualizing a simply gigantic machine that, if used to subjugate such a celestial body, could provide limitless energy that could sustain humanity and its ever-growing desire for energy for eons.
In the end, Dyson's ideas were far too advanced for his time, and with neither the technological basis nor any other abilities, magical or otherwise, that could aid in making his dream reality, he would fade into obscurity. The man, however, did record his ideas in his writing, only for it to be discovered by a pupil of his after his death. Fascinated and inspired by the late visionary's idea, the pupil, determined to at least make some of his idea's reality, begun studying. The pupil, though, would differ from the mentor, being able to control and wield magical power, deciding to put his own spin on things. Given their resources, they, of course, couldn't wield the entire power of the sun, but he could at least capture the celestial body's essence, a ritual that collected, stored, and concentrated the sun's light into a crystal of pure magical power, in the end, creating this Lacrima. Of course, that's just an old story, and what happened to the Lacrima after is entirely unclear, though, one thing is certain: The Lacrima has resurfaced, and the power it contains is anything but a mere story. The light of the sun would finally be subjugated by humanity, after all.

Transtemporal Hunter

Demon Slayer
Item/Energy Needed to reach Force:
Time, Void, Plasma, Light
Slayers Can Control:
Time, Void, Plasma, Light
Appearance:
History:
There are those that are slaves to time, and then those that seek to transcend it. Baras was not a man who sought to surpass the flow of time but was rather thrust upon the task due to circumstances beyond his control. A simple mage with a family, Baras simply wished to live his life to the fullest, but one day, a demon lord came upon his home and slaughtered his family, leaving Baras the sole survivor. The demon left through a portal and Baras, enraged by the loss of his wife and children, dove in after her.
But rather than finding himself in some hellscape, he found himself in the far-flung future. The demon used portals that passed through time to commit her heinous acts of enjoyment. Baras chased the demon through several times, while also using what precious moments he had to study her magic and make it his own. It wasn’t until he finally caught up to her and trapped her that he was able to extract her soul and trap it in a lacrima, stealing the magic for himself. But the trap had taken his lifeforce, preventing him from using the magic properly and keeping him from returning to save his family. Instead, he left the lacrima buried, hoping that it would never be found.

Description:
Several decades ago, this creature, donned by scientists as 'Alexa', was originally found by space explorers on planet Shinku. Left in an abandoned bio-lab as an incomplete experiment, she was brought back to Earthland where scientists worked on her for years in the hopes of re-animating her. They programmed her with a servile nature, and designed her to provide assistance to whoever is her registered 'Master'. She was even programmed with a combat setting, only to be used in case there was a need for her programmer to be defended, some governing leaders, though, arguing that she was being wasted and she had the capabilities of a great weapon. The scientists refused to hand her over as a military weapon and shortly after their facility was attacked. In an attempt to prevent her from falling into the hands of those who would misuse, the head scientist, Dr. M. Lambert, bound her to a key and hid her summoning key in the laboratory where she wouldn't be found. The laboratory was burned to the ground, all the scientists that had worked on her disappeared, and any data that had been collected on her was wiped, leaving no trace of Alexa's existence, aside from a mysterious key, hidden deep within the labs remains.
