Description:
Once a servant of light and forces of good, Matar'zuk was an angel of a god that had been fighting a so-called "Great Old One" at the edge of the universe. Part of an army that was fighting over the control of a once beautiful world, the forces of the god of light and the Great Old One clashing in a battle that lasted millennia, claiming not only billions of lives, but also the world itself and turning it into a devastated battlefield, Matar'zuk was simply a soldier in this conflict, a being created to fight, follow orders, and die for an ultimate goal it had no part in. Still, it fought nonetheless, as was its purpose, though its contribution would be of no effect. Just as Matar'zuk would join the battle, eager to fulfill its purpose, the forces of the Great Old One would execute a plan that would not only end the battle in one decisive strike, but also destroy the planet that both sides had so ferociously fought for in one decisive strike, pulling it into a dimensional gate of massive proportions and crushing it, and almost all combatants in the process, and scattering the remains across different plains of existence, galaxies, universes, and even dimensions, witnessing horrors of proportions unimaginable to any thinking mind.
This process would spit out Matar'zuk on the planet of Earthland, though the being would not be the same. Broken, scarred, tainted by inconceivable terror, the angel's mind was in tatters, madness afflicting it like a disease and corrupting not just its psyche, but also its body, it's once bright form turning dark and aggressive, as did its behavior. Without goal or direction and condemned to an excruciating existence in this world, the being simply wandered, the remains of its original creation compelling it to seek for some kind of purpose, some kind of cause or master to fight for, though with its life fractured and torn asunder by mania, who truly knows of the volatility and dangers associated with encountering such a being corrupted by the horrors of the cosmos.
Abilities:- Plot ability:
Voice of Corruption: Matar'zuk can communicate in any language of its choosing, doing so telepathically and over relatively long distances, up to a few miles. Its mind, however, is so fractured and its psyche so volatile that choosing to communicate with it is a gamble. Sometimes it might be surprisingly calm and intelligent, while at other times depraved shrieks and cries remain the only response one receives from this creature (OOC permission is required for this pet to communicate with anyone other than its owner. This applies to players, player-owned NPCs, and Event NPCs).

Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to A+)
Category: Offensive
Type: Multi Target, Piercing
Damage: User Rank Advanced Damage + 50%
Range: User Rank Advanced Range
Speed: User Rank Advanced Speed
Duration: User Rank Advanced Max
Downside: Sacrificing 2 effects for 50% additional damage
Description: While corrupted, Matar'zuk retains some of its original powers. Manifesting corrupted eyes around its form, it can, once this ability is activated, fire laser-like beams of charcoal-hued darkness from these oculars at its desire, the central eye of its body included. Any successful hit will deal user-rank advanced Multi Target damage + 50% to the target or targets hit by the attack. Further, the beams possess a considerable power and can, like their counterparts made from like, slice through almost any material without much effort, piercing applicable shields, armors, and barriers, though this process diminishes the beams' effectiveness somewhat, the attack sacrificing 50% of its base damage if used in such a manner.
Name: Aura of Hysteria
Rank: User Rank (Up to S)
Category: Auxiliary
Type: AoE, Illusion, Immobilization, Debuff
Damage: N/a
Range: User Rank AoE Range
Speed: User Rank AoE Speed

Description: With a terrifying shriek, Matar'zuk releases a dark wave of pure madness around itself, resembling a dark fog that afflicts the hearts and minds of those hit with it, causing them to experience temporary madness themselves. Their surroundings will be warped, producing images and figures representing their worst fears, their deepest nightmares, and their greatest horrors, which will constantly assault, berate, and harass them, though this illusion is subjective and plays out differently for every individual affected by this power (OOC permission needed to be used on players, player-owned NPCs, and Event NPCs). All those affected, however, will be immobilized by the overwhelming sensation of sudden mania and the resulting fear as well as disorientation. This can only occurr once every other post for the ability's duration at max, and targets must be hit again in order to be afflicted with the paralysis once more. Lastly, the affliction that befalls those haunted by madness makes combat effectiveness harder to maintain, the symptoms of mania and psychosis increasing the Spell Cost of all opponents hit by this attack by 100% for the duration of this ability.

Xanusia, is a very rare creature known as a Gorgon. With the body and face of a beautiful woman, but a head of snakes in place of hair. Xanusia is generally calm and collected being, but should you cross her. You will feel her venomous wrath, and her deadly eyes will open. When she is calm, she generally keeps her eyes closed, and will use her snakes to see, she is perfectly capable and nothing gets passed her, even with her eyes close. She has incredible hearing and an even greater sense of smell, meaning she can smell a living thing from miles away. As a young gorgon, Xanusia was kidnapped from her home by mages who feared her abilities, as such, they cast powerful spells on her eyes in an attempt to take their power for themselves. However, this didn't work and as she fought them off, she was able to use her gaze to turn them all to stone. All bar one. One mage who before escaping cast a curse upon her that would limit her power, meaning she can only turn those who are of weak will. Even so, her eyes are still powerful enough to deal devastating damage to those whom she gazes upon, and the curse altered her magic effect meaning she can deal damage to them without having to actually meet their gaze as she would have before. Thus meaning that in any form of a weakened state, avoiding her gaze would still be best.
Abilities:- Plot Ability:
Stone Death: When looking upon someone who is considered weak, whether this is emotionally, physically or of will/spirit, with some exertion, Xanusia can turn them to stone and end their existence completely. Albeit with great strain to herself, after which she requires immediate rest for the toll the curse has on her body. This stream of Gorgon power will pierce through shields, armors, or barriers at the cost of only 25% of this ability's base damage. Those struck by this power will be frozen in place, and feel as heavy as stone. Unable to move for a single post, they can also be frozen once every other post granted that they are hit with the same ability again. On top of this, those who are hit by the stream of power will not only take a large hit of damage, but will also have their speed debuffed by a user-rank advanced active debuff (Caps at H+) for the remainder of the ability's duration.

The area around her will appear to glow with ancient magic, and this will stretch out for quite the distance. Anyone caught in this will feel their HP & MP drain for 5% of their max each post for the remainder of the duration of the ability. This creature is a very unique breed of cosmic monster with a parasitic nature. A Nagl'yig is a terrifying parasite that ensnares its victims under the gaze of its mystical eye, pulling them into a world of perpetual darkness and despair. The way a Nagl'yig would essentially trap its victims is by turning invisible to the eye. Following its target from behind, it allows it's dark energy to seep into its host's orifices, spreading toxic void particles to their vital organs. Whilst they slowly poison their host, a side effect of its power is also known to drive the host to the brink of insanity in their final moments of life. Once it's victim dies, the Nagl'yig pierces its flesh with its sharp tentacles and drains them of blood before moving onto the next host. This once particular Nagl'yig, captured by an interstellar traveler, has been bound to a key and put under a spell that forces it to obey the will of the keyholder. Be warned, however, if the Nagl'yig is left out for too long, it may find itself unable to resist the pull of claiming a new target.
Abilities:- Plot Abilities:
Parasitic Madness: Those struck by one of the abilities are inflicted with the effects of the parasite's aura find themselves descending into temporary madness, finding it hard to focus, their thoughts becoming highly erratic and unstable (This ability requires OOC permission to be used on a player character, player-owned NPC, or an Event NPC).
