Crash land on Re-enrty?

Rhyolo would have been brought back to the last place he had called a home, The West Fiore Trading Company. He had stared at the doors that marked the entrance to the building, those doors would have been something he had dreaded since he was brought back to life, even more so when Raivel had brought him back here. The reaper that had force him here at sword point had been gone from his sight, but Rhyolo knew better than to try and run away, especially in his condition. Rhyolo would take a deep breath before he then steps forward slowly, opening the doors and heading into the oh so familiar setting of the reception area. He would look around, not really sure of what he was to do now. He wasn't really a part of the company anymore so he really didn't have access to any of the other areas. For now, he would stand there in his red clothes, sticking out from everyone else in all white.

Footsteps quietly approached someone new as Deep sapphire blue eyes looked towards their current target. Near the silent steps made by feet in dark dress shoes was a smaller pair of feet in sandals that made a little noise. If the man wanted to sneak then he would have been carrying the small child, but that wasn't what he was doing. There was no intention to become one with shadows from someone who once his from danger by using open space and smiles. That was the kind of person the half demon was when joining the west fiore trading company, a lost coward with barely over half of a soul. Now the pale ice blue skinned person had a full soul and everything that came with it, good and bad. There was a lot of inner demons definitely still shoved under the ice of the past. A hand reached up to give the stranger a little wave before stopping near them. The young looking man had finished making and packing a crates worth of stoneware tea sets. Even if his glass ones were available for sale now, it didn't change the popularity of his clay made tea sets. These had autumns designs painted on them, which was fitting for the current season.

There used to be a time where shipping would take months, but such things were not true in the new age. It was very amazing how much could change with new innovations that come with growth and the passage of time. It was amazing how fast things could change, how quickly even he could when influenced by current times. This guild was how the mans steps could hold confidence even as his male half now. A quiet, soft, and silky voice came from those full lips to speak to the stranger. "Hello and welcome to the West Fiore Trading Company. My name is Haraka Omaras, is there anything I can help you with today?" A voice that had been crafted from thousands of years of hiding behind a smile, a voice, movements, and a way of speaking to avoid getting attacked. Sometimes when one lacks power they will find other ways to protect themselves.

Rhyolo would have continued to look around the room while he stood there. Slowly but surely his mind began to race and the ghosts of his pasts began haunt him, making him feel a sudden wave of anxiety. Why am i here? Everyone will hate me, just seeing me come back from the dead. Why don't I just try and leave? I may get killed but I have been to hell before, it isn't that bad, at least i think so. Maybe death isn't a such a bad option after all? Or even better i could possibly escape with my life intact? Who am i kidding? I don't have magic i can use. His endless thoughts were then cutoff by a familiar voice. One he had memorized, like all the voices he had heard since he came to the company the first time. He knew of Haraka but he did not know them well, he didn't even know if Haraka knew who he was, disregarding his new outward appearance.  

Nonetheless, Rhyolo felt he was somewhat obligated to greet Haraka like they already knew each other, and not try and hide the identity, past, and circumstances he was afraid of. "Oh, hello there Haraka, long time, no see. You may not recognize or even remember me but it is me, Rhyolo Ruby." The hellspawn would take the half demon's hand and shake it as he looked down, putting the other hand behind his head, looking rather embarrassed and ashamed. It would be rather hard for anyone to really tell where he was looking considering his eyes were all white now though, but his head tilting down gave him and his feelings away.

The red headed child kept their tiny fingers gripped onto the parental figure, the grip briefly getting tighter. His other hand had a small bento box that was in a closed autumn themed bag. The small and young child looked at the person like the stranger they were to him. It was no surprise that someone so young couldn't really recall someone that had been away for awhile since William had only been alive for less than a year. Haraka pat the childs head to reassure them, or at least try. The silky, quiet and soft voice rolled out more, this time more for the little clam than anyone else. "It's okay William, he used to be a member of the guild." That did cause the child to ease their grip a bit, but it didn't exactly cause the quiet toddler to run over or any such thing. The older Omaras put his deep sapphire blue eyes back on to Ruby. "Sorry Rhyolo, my son is very cautious of strangers. He's the clam I carried almost everywhere with me, he just happens to be old enough to walk around as a little toddler now. Would you care to talk about things over some snacks or tea somewhere else? Then you can tell me things in a more comfortable setting. You look very nervous and food has quite the ability to soothe a troubled soul."

Rhyolo would look to Haraka, then turn his gaze to the child that was clinging to them with one hand. He would listen to Haraka explain that his name was William and that he was the clam Haraka carried everywhere. He would look to Haraka again as he smiled softly. He would nod before beginning to speak, "Yeah,a little privacy would help a bit. But sad to say, for the past couple weeks
I have been alive I haven't needed any food for some reason." He would then kneel down to the little red headed child. He would smile and put a hand on his head to pat it quickly. "Hey William, Nice to meet you. Sorry to scare you," he would look down a bit, "I would be scared of me too if i was you." Rhyolo would then stand up and look to the member of his former guild, possibly current guild if all went well. "Well, shall we head there the-" He was suddenly cut off by a sharp pain in his head. He would let out a load groan as he gripped his head and fell to both knees as he put his head to the ground. Images then flashed across his vision, making reality blur. He then began to breath heavily as the pain subsided, he would look to the floor, two things now different about him. He now knew how he died exactly and he could now feel his magic unlocked, knowing how to use his new form.

There was a brief moment where fear flashed through his eyes. It was after the west fiore trading company bent down next to the person on the floor. An injury? No external signs were there, no signs of damage in the persons magic either. If things continued to decline for Ruby than the doctor would have taken him to the hospital. Should he still do that? But that's when he remembered what William tended to do when he was worried. "Not indoors." That's all he said to the child that he knew wouldn't be very apt to listening if they didn't hurry outside. The tint tot was certainly making less than happy expressions that certainly told the parent 'if you don't hurry than I'll use it anyway'. A pale ice blue hand was offered to Rhyolo as Haraka good back up. "You promise to tell me everything once we get somewhere more private, as well as what just happened to you and you will be less likely to be healed through a blood rain." Was that a threat, or a bribe? It was the truth, no matter what positive or negative spin one wanted to put on it. "Do you need a heal, or some calming tea for a splitting headache? I have just the brew."

Rhyolo would have taken a few more heavy breaths as he stayed kneeling on the ground. His mind was racing with questions he didn't know the answer too and he desperately wanted to know. After a few more moments he would look to Haraka and William as he slowly got up with his comrade's help, the headache subsided. He rubbed his head, trying to figure out what in the hell came over him and what made that memory back, as well as what was this new magic he possessed. The hellspawn then looked to the icy blue pair in front of him with his blank white eyes. "Sorry for scaring you, but I'll be fine. The pain is already gone. Also i now have a bit more to tell you than before. That was more than just an average headache. But i promise to tell you anything you ask." He then looked around and saw he made somewhat of a scene. "Where are we heading to exactly?"

Haraka shook his head a bit, "I was just a little worried and William was as scared as one might expect a very young child to be." The mixed blood wouldn't pretend like he didn't have a good idea already that things would be okay. A lingering concern was only natural, as a doctor knows that first assumptions aren't always right. This is why one must poke and prod a bit longer. The tiny blood red eyed child stared at Rhyolo, not knowing many of the things his parental figure did. It was only natural that the entire thing had scared the tiny youth, tiny hands trembling a bit. The elder Omaras gently grabbed onto one of Rubys hands before starting to walk. Where were they going? If he told the man directly that they were going to Yonas place, would they shoot off like a fire cracker? The west fiore trading company member had no idea, but it seemed like a possibility. "Somewhere more private where I can brew some black mountain tea. It has calming effects on the muscles and nerves, my father used to drink a little before every day for that reason. Also, you still have a few questions to answer." The young looking man lead them out of the guilds main building, starting to direct the group towards the forest. There was no way they could find privacy in town so easily anyway, not after that. He could still get it, but the half ice dragon wasn't really up to that right now.

Rhyolo would have had his hand grabbed by Haraka as he explained where they were going, but only in vague detail. Haraka would still be set on brewing hims some tea as he sighed bit. He would not put up any protest as he was dragged along with the young child of the guild member. He would look around the town as he would blindly follow, letting go of his after they exited the main area of the hall. As they exited town and began to venture into the forest. The hell spawn would wonder where exactly they were heading in the middle of the wilderness. Hmmm, Maybe we could be heading into a clearing to talk? Maybe a secret hideout of some sorts? Wait, could it be someone's home? As his thoughts ran wild his question would soon be answered as they began to come to their destination, a house. Oh, someone's house? Haraka's? If not his then who's? He then began to head to the door and knock on it since his guide didn't seem to enter immediately.

Yona Hisamori hadn't seen from Sato much today. He had decided on his own to go exploring the woods, wanting to practice identifying local vegetation and desiring to collect some mushrooms for his studies as well. Yona could appreciate his independence and his yearning for knowledge as she had fostered both of those traits within her long ago. Still, she thought it was best to keep herself busy while her little brother was out to keep her older sister instincts from driving her mad with worry.

The VP mage had actually finished her paperwork for once and so had elected to not go into her office for the day. She instead tended to the garden which she and Sato were working hard to grow. The garden they worked so tirelessly on was as large as it had been when Sato, her father, and her had grown one outside of their home. It contained a flowery section of roses, sweet pea and lavender. It also had an herb section with all the ingredients for cooking, healing and tea-sipping: basil, chives, tomatoes, oregano, baby's breath, and several shrubs of Camellia. There was even a section that would take years to grow, only small four foot trees currently obvious, but they would become the beloved apple trees if Sato and Yona had their way. Sato had insisted on her not using any magic so that he could practice his own skills, but every now and then a wilted plant needed just a little boost and Yona was happy to provide it. She wore jeans and a light grey woven sweater, which fell loosely over her shoulders in a wide cut. Her hair was pulled back in a messy pony tail, dirt smeared her hands and her left cheek, and small beads of sweat clung to her hair line and neck. She clawed at the dirt as she jerked tiny weeds from the garden. The smell of the sweet pea and lavender was at first soothing and heavenly, but as hours had passed Yona felt the need to stand and relocate herself. The aroma had become overpowering.

Yona stepped towards the herbal garden with its tiny fairy-sized wooden fencing and wiped her dirty hands over her jeans. She picked up a small woven basket and started collecting the sweet tomatoes and humming to herself. These would go well with dinner tonight, perhaps as part of a spicy sauce over rice. Did Sato even like spicy food? She wasn't sure. All around her garden and her small home were trees and some small dirt paths. It was almost secretive in its woodsy nature and she loved it. Yona could hear the knocking on her door from around the house's rear and carried the basket to the front of the one-floor home. The home was left dark, made of wood, looking something between a house and cabin, with a front porch that creaked as weight was pressed upon it. She heard the creak too and considered who might have decided to come all the way out here to see her and the big sister instincts in her kicked in, making her wonder if Sato had been hurt.

She hastened her steps until she saw Haraka standing with a male who had white eyes and red hair. Was this another one of Hara's strange jobs? She relaxed, understanding at least she didn't need to be on guard if it concerned Haraka and not her little Sato. "Haraka, who have you brought all the way out here?" Yona called, making herself known. She certainly didn't look like any VP she had ever seen, but Yona wasn't self conscious about her beauty or her power; a little dirt on her face and hands gave her no pause as she looped her tomato basket over her left arm and stuck out her right to shake the hand of the stranger. "I'm Yona Hisamori, VP to the WFTC. You have a job or something for me?"

Haraka stopped walking after it seemed they were close enough, being more than fine with the younger man being the one to rush over and knock. While Rhyolo did that, the doctor took the offered spare moments to picked up William up and soothe the child. Blood red eyes looked up at the adult before the tiny person leaned in to rest on their parental figure. Even their little bag that held their bento box was placed onto the mix blood like he had just become a rest station. "Sorry to bother you Yona, but I needed to head somewhere private that didn't have any people around. Rhyolo had a little episode that freaked out my son and William calms a lot less easily around lots of people." That was a big reason he went to Yonas, he wasn't going to hide the fact that a big reason involved an almost one year old getting scared and needing a little breather. He knew Ruby didn't do it on purpose, but it didn't change that little kids were a bit newer to emotions than adults were. It was harder for them to figure out what to do with them, or how to handle it when the negative ones appeared. One arm reached up to the bundle of child he was holding, rubbing their little back a bit to help soothe. But of course this wasn't the only reason he was here. "Anyway, this isn't a job, it's Rhyolo Ruby wanting to rejoin the West Fiore Trading Company. Rhylolo, please tell us why you vanished in the first place. After that I was hoping to get some help testing him from you. This is the first time I've really been in the position to test someone..."

What would he even test the youth on anyway? Most of the things he knew a lot on had little to do with combat. Quality of goods? If he could tell fakes from the real ones, concerning items like antique crystal bottle wines? Well, maybe not testing using such expensive examples. "Would anyone mind if I made some black mountain pine needle tea? The only tests I can think of are testing if he can tell quality of certain goods apart, or fake products from real ones..." But of course the perfect test was probably right at his finger tips without even noticing. Haraka, as a man who was originally trained during an era where herbal treatments were still a very big thing knew a lot about what plants were and were not okay to drink, and which plants to be weary of. Not every pine tree was okay to make tea from its needles, but the ones you could do that with were very healthy. The younger needles had less vitamis but a better flavor, the older ones having more vitamins but a more bitter taste.

Rhyolo would have widedned his all white eyes as he looked at his old friend Yona. His heart would start racing again like it did when he thought Ruvel had found him in the forest. It seemed to him that everytime he met someone that he had known before he died he would have a miniature panic attack. The hell spawn would grab at his chest once again as he began to breath in and out slowly to calm himself. He would have appreciated a heads uo about coming to Yona's house, maybe give him some time to menatlly prepare. After he had calmed himself more or less he was then put on the spot as haraka told him to explain why he had vanished in the first place. Rhyolo would lean again the doorway as he put his hands in the pockets of his black pants. "Well, Haraka, to tell that story you might not want the little one around. It has to deal with something worse than the headache i had earlier and i am sure it will be confusing and frightening for him. I'd rather not scare him again if I can help it."

Yona hadn't known or heard anything about Haraka having a child. She thought back and tried to remember a time he was dating someone... and no person stood out as remarkable in that regard. The green haired mage rested her hands on her hips, the basket resting against her leg, and head tilted as she listened to Haraka, his voice fading into the back of her mind as her eyes caught sight of Rhyolo grabbing at his chest. She blinked, checking him over with her green eyes for any visual reason for a physical pain or problems. Haraka's answer returned to the forefront of her mind and she nodded her head slowly.

"Help with a test then, well," She looked around at the front of her house and then down at her basket of tomatoes. "I suppose I can help with that. I was just gardening anyway and Sol did show me the ropes." Yona took a few steps forward and lowered her voice, "See Haraka, simply consider this. Do you know what his strengths and weaknesses are? Do you think he can improve his strengths and overcome his weaknesses and bring something to better the guild?" Yona paused and looked at Rhyolo, no longer bothering to keep her voice low. "The key could also be determining what you think is most important for a member in our guild and testing him on that quality. There are many ways you can go about it. I like a little physical and mental challenge, personally." She wet her lips and plucked out a tomato from her woven basket. "If you like culinary stuff so much, maybe you could incorporate that but that's not my forte. Do you want my help or do you have an idea of what you might like to do?"

Yona thought about the peacefulness of her garden, how nice it would be to continue working her hands in the soil and using her magic to help coax little plants to grow. "I guess if you want to make tea, you can use my kitchen, but its pretty small in there," Yona added somewhat dismissively. She had no idea how tea could help test the young man before her but if Haraka had an idea for it, she would let him do his test however he wanted to.

She extended the tomato out to Rhyolo, "Want to taste? I just picked it and its probably in its prime. I'd like to hear that story of your's. Many people thought you had died, but I admit I thought you had just left and gone underground or something. I had hoped whatever you were doing you would return, and here you are." The VP looked at the child and sighed, "Perhaps that is best for later though." Yona would take out a small looking tomato and offer it to the child the same way she had Rhyolo.

Haraka continued to rub the childs back a bit. Their strengths and weaknesses? He really had no idea what those might be. What was important for a west fiore trading company member to know? They were a guild that worked with trades as well as with people, as communicating with someone and judging things accurately is a good portion of importance in making a deal. That made the elder Omaras smile a bit. He was about to say something not so pleasant, but Yona had grown up since he met her and Ruby seemed to be a little naive. Then again it was only natural, most probably wouldn't think to guess that anything was off with the tiny child, nor with the doctor. Many wouldn't even believe the young looking man when their true age is spoken. So with a gentle smile and a soft, sweet, gentle voice, the pale ice blue skinned person decided to say a few not so innocent things. "More than a year ago on one job I walked into a hidden room, only one of many in those sewers. The dark magic summon spell was cleverly hidden under a pile of bones, but those who set it up did so with the idea that it would still have a pile of fresh bodies. Instead of getting Count William Akeldama the II from the frozen ocean ocean in hell, a baby clam was born. The person with me wanted to kill it because he was a naive, just as you're naive in assuming what you have to say would be too much for William. Just as me, he's a flawed and incomplete copy of someone." His smile deepened a bit. The child in his arms didn't seem to be listening to the information, like it was something known to them enough that it never had to be spoken.

This was one of the many hints that told the mixed blood that William had bits of memories from the original demonic clam that he was copied from. That original person was without a doubt very cruel, otherwise they wouldn't have a title that sounded so high up in ranking. How did this person look, or act? It wasn't something the elder Omaras could say he knew, but the information was more than likely out there somewhere. "This is why he started off as a baby, has more strength and intelligence than the average baby. He was born with the side effect of having parts of the originals memories, a common trait to have when a copy isn't planned. Another common trait is having a frail or damaged soul, which he doesn't have. I'm almost the exact opposite in the side effects I was born with. I'm not sure there's much you can say that would be too much for my son, he's just a gentle child that doesn't like seeing people hurt." It felt weird to say it bluntly out loud instead vaguely hinting at it. Still, it was something to think about when comparing differences. Deep blue sapphire eyes turned to look at the green haired person. "Maybe we should test his ability to properly assess things? I have a few plants that are mostly harmless unless you go at them the wrong way, though most of those are pretty harmless." But some weren't, one of those being the frost dragon fruit. It was mostly harmless, but if its defenses were triggered enough? It would freeze the ground and create deadly ice, not just shoot snow. What plants would he even use? "Or should I pick something like if he can figure out which ones are edible? But that sounds a bit too much like he might get drugged or poisoned..."

Rhyolo would have listened to Yona and Haraka as they each took their turn speaking. He would nod as now he understood a bit more about the child the demon was holding. Partial memories, huh? That sound like my predicament, but I know I am nothing like William. Once yona would offer the tomato to him he would only shake his head in reply. Sorry, but no thanks Yona, I haven't been hungry lately. Also I am surprised that you didn't react to my new appearance. That point aside, I'll tell my story now. Yona you were wrong, I did actually die. For the past year I have been in hell. It seemed like it was all just a fevered dream until one day I woke up next to my own grave. I was alone and I was confused. I wandered and eventually found out a year had passed and my body had changed. I haven't had to eat or drink anything since I had come back, and i had lost my magic." Rhyolo would then look to the other mages in the room as he held up two fingers. "Two things came out of that massive headache I had earlier. One of them being some of the details of my death. I was murdered by a dark mage wielding summoning magic. I know because the summon they used to kill me ran their swords through me radiated celestial magic. The Second thing I learned is that my magic I had is gone forever, but it is now replaced by a new one."

The VP studied the tomato in her hand, unsure of why nobody wanted to give it a try. She sniffed it, listening to Haraka speak and then shrugged. As she returned it to her basket, Rhyolo related his story to them both and she bit her lower lip. Plenty of people went out into the world, faced some great trial and then returned with an altered physical appearance. Yona never understood why the biggest challenges always made people change so drastically, but she presumed cutting or dying one's hair, altering one's eyes with contacts, or tattooing one's body in the symbols of some forgotten language were all ways to show a change had occurred. Having seen Rhyolo, at first she hadn't recognized him and then she had concluded that he had gone through something in that time he had vanished. Changing one's visage was a way to prove to one's self that indeed you were now different inside and out. She hadn't expected him to say that he had actually died and came back from the great fires of hell.

Yona pulled the basket off her arm and deposited it upon her little porch. She crossed them then as she puzzled it over and finally, gesturing loosely with her right hand, exclaimed, "Well, it sounds like you want to test his intelligence. As useful as intelligence is, we all know mages can be quite effective without a big brain to back them up. What if we combine your intelligence test with a physical test as well?" She stretched out her back then until it gave a couple satisfying pops. As she leaned back, considering her garden still in the back of her mind, a brilliant idea lit up her green eyes. "How about a hedge maze? You can put three trials within the maze and surmise his abilities from that. And I can grow some pretty fantastic physical obstacles and ordeals to lend your test some muscle. What do you think, Hara?"

Yona gave a too-wide mischievous grin to Rhyolo, "You can show off and practice your new magic, I always learn more by seeing than telling. Plus, if you have already been to hell and back... this should be a piece of cake~!" The woman weighed the areas nearby, picking out the best place in her mind to grow such a convoluted testing area. She figured she could grow it between and around the forest trees and use them as additional hurdles as there weren't any clearings close enough to use. She certainly wasn't about to try to relocate the trees around them or ruin her precious family garden for a test like this after all.

She didn't really wait for replies from either of the males, presuming that Ryholo had no real choice and Haraka wanted guidance after all. Yona took a moment to gather her strength and then set her hands to the ground. Slowly the grass began to rise up in the forest beside them. Shrubs thickened, young trees warped around into thin wispy adults, and the short grass sitting in the dirt littered with colored leaves managed to grow seven feet tall. It was impossible to see the entirety of the maze from ground level or from just standing by her home, but they would be able to see the walls of herbage grow to magnificent height and surprising thickness. A few tiny white flowers dotted the plants freshly grown and a gap remained in view as the clear place where a person might enter the mysterious maze. Stalks reminiscent of corn or bamboo with adventitious roots were bent sideways, the pale and dry yellow shafts parting at the gateway to the maze

"You might want to go on in and set up your part of the test, Hara. Let me know if you need assistance with any of that." Beads of sweat upon her brow had turned into actual streams with the effort she had needed to create this place. She pulled out a small cloth from her pocket and patted her hairline dry, "I think I put enough in there to confuse even a plant master like myself." She chortled and smeared her soil stained fingers on the cloth in a poor attempt to get them clean again.

"Sorry Yona, William wont eat until I get a book out. I have one for him under my vest." Haraka didn't want Yona to think the child had refused the tomato. Such as the tiny lunch box though, the tiny one just wouldn't eat until they had a book. He wasn't sure why, maybe it was related the the clams intense curiosity of the world. Maybe a book was just very good at keeping his mind occupied? He wasn't sure how to get the tiny one off the habit, nor was he quite sure how this developed. Had the doctor given them too many wooden puzzles and things? But that was before he knew if they were an animal or a child, and they always seemed so curious. Well, there was nothing wrong with enjoying reading anyway. As for Rhyolo, the young looking older man couldn't help but to shake his head a bit. "My skin used to be darker and more greyish when I was less healthy. There are non health related ways for ones appearance to change, but that's just one example." He was sure that was already obvious, but it just felt better to say that out loud. Why do that? There was just some sort of self assurance in saying it. Was it age related, or just a thing connected to their own personality? Maybe it was age related. There had been so many times he thought something was clear, when not everyone found that to be so. Over time it built up an occasional need to say things out loud that the gender fluid person considered to be obvious. Was there a way to root that weird habit out? No? Oh well, there were worse ones to have anyway.

Now, what could the pale ice blue skinned person add to the maze that had just been masterfully created? He wasn't exactly one who knew much on traps, nor did they have any trap related spells. The talk of dark mages wasn't all that shocking, but it was certainly something to think about. "Black mages can sometimes find ways to break the natural laws, so you should try to research the summon if you can. The group that destroyed my country thousands of years ago broke more than a few natural laws, people dying before they were supposed to, souls disintegrating, among other issues." Then again the country broke natural laws before then regardless. That place probably hadn't been popular with a lot of natural forces until it lost it's people. With the people gone, no more artificial souls could be created, nor spirits of nature harmed and abused, nor using those spirits to try to do things that disturbed the balance of life and death. "If you had a guide take you to hell, then it's more than likely your death was natural. Guides help make sure you go where you need to. How did you get out of hell? Unnaturally, or by getting a second chance? Even by escaping, I don't believe one would wake up in their old body though...?" But then there was the realization that he was asking weird things. Wind, he would blame that spirit on all that. But he knew that it made no sense to blame a teacher for the odd thoughts their students might get. He waved one hand a bit, trying to signal to forget about what was said. "Sorry, ignore my weird commentary."

He looked over to Yona before nodding a bit. The red head had calmed down, so the child was released. After getting back to standing on his own feet, the tiny person resumed their previous grip on the tiny bag that held their little bento box. They briefly kept their grip on their parental figure. But this was an area not filled with a lot of people, or any strangers. This left the tiny person quietly letting  go of their parent and looking a bit ready to explore things. But this was Yonas place, right? That was the lady. So tiny feet moved rapidly, walking quickly over towards her. Do you ask? Not when someones tired. Sweat means tired, right? Was she? "Ah, ah, are y-you okaaay?" He tried his best to talk well, but the little youth still had a lot of practice to go through. The Elder Omaras smiled a bit at the child before looking back towards Yona. "I like the idea of that. I'm not sure what sort of trials to place, but I'll try to think of something." But that was when a green wind started to move around the man, eventually forming the wind spirit nearby. Its pitch black eyes looked towards their person, tiny bare feet barely hovering over the ground. The beings voice sounded like many people speaking at once. "Place plants that are deceptive to those that don't know anything about them, like the curling vine, or the winter dragon fruit. You have forests worth of plant spirits to choose from, even if they aren't all built for magical attacks. These are tests anyway, right?"

That was a good point, but should he actually listen to it? This was the same person that had caused Haraka quite a bit of fright. Still, a point was made. He let out a sigh, eyes looking back towards Yona. "You're pretty amazing to be able to make so much so fast. How do I add to the maze without getting lost? Should flying over it be okay?" Did it have plants that reacted to flight? But maybe that shouldn't be asked while close to the person this is being made for.

Rhyolo would have just listened on as the two senior members of the guild would continue to speak of his test. He honestly was used to being around people who spoke of him when he was around, granted half of the time he was hidden, but still, there were enough times he wasn't he had gotten used to feeling like a shadow. He would keep his arms crossed as he continued to lean against the wall. He would then begin to think as he would focus on his new magic. The energy inside of him would have been bubbling inside of him, as if it was trying to tell him something. He would begin to block out his surroundings, only becoming partly aware of them as he closed his eyes. A thin red aura would glow around him as he would begin to hear a voice other than his own echo in his head.

Hello there Rhyolo.

Who, are you? What are you doing in my head

I am not anyone besides yourself. I am your magic, and by proxy, you. All I know is what you know, and things you have forgotten. I am appearing to tell you what this new power you feel is. Before you ask, I caused those memories to come back as I formed within you, finally becoming whole. Also your memories, I cannot give them to you until you have mastered your magic.

The young mage would then go silent before he would visualize himself and the disambiguation of his magic. He would give the voice the form of his old self but older. Ok then, where do we start? I want to find this guy and ask him some questions.

the young man being quiet was a bit unsettling to Haraka. When it came to most people in most situations it wouldn't be an issue, but in something like this? You would expect something. They were about to take an entrance exam, but instead of asking about anything, Rhyolo was just being quiet. Glancing over at them wasn't any more reassuring, like there was something quietly going on inside that wasn't being shared. How should he go about this? If it was approached, it would be akin to a slap in the face of all the work Yona just put in. The initial response should be in placing two plants into Yonas plant maze. Sudden;y he had a bit less motivation to be as gentle as before. This person was an adult. If they could trap their mind for a few minutes, then shouldn't he aid in prying it open? Nobody should be like himself. A mind that rattles away at itself too often can be someones worst weapon against their person hood. It took a bit focus, but his little 'surprises' were added. "I added two plants from my homeland, the frost dragon fruit tree, and the deep winter pine." Both plants looked deceptively beautiful and non lethal. They weren't exactly strong enough to be considered spells, but they weren't the sort of plants to sit and do nothing if provoked either. The frost dragon fruit trees created ice and cold if created in a spot that didn't have snow. This is why he was slow and careful when making them for the hospital. They would launch shards of ice if further agitated, or if someone brought too much heat close to the plant.

The deep winter pine was a tree that grew in small patches outside of the mountain ranges, making small forests. Nobody entered those who weren't wild animals due to those trees, not unless they were in desperate need for something growing inside. It was said that that those pines caused their forests to be coated in ice and were prone to attacking anything nearby that had heat. Occasionally one could fine a strange solo deep winter pine, that's how he knew they weren't all that lethal. They did effect an area, but all the ice it formed was to coat its wooden body. The tree did shoot ice at heat sources nearby for some reason, but not enough to be that concerned about it. Sure it wasn't something to toss a kid near, but the young devil wasn't a helpless child. William was still near Yona and looking to her with a concerned expression. The elder Omaras moved after making his additions, now able to look at and pay better attention to the youth. "I believe its time for you to enter the maze. Just remember if you trap yourself in your head, then nobody will hear you."

Yona looked to William and waved a hand. "Do what you want. Don't break anything all right?" When Haraka asked her questions she laughed and shrugged. "They are just regular plants, Hara. You don't want him to go over it with flight, tell him not to. Give him some rules." She started for her house and then turned and call back, "Good luck guys. If you need anything, I'll be inside." And then the VP was gone.

Panacea's white tail trailed behind her in a sinuous line as she slithered through the forest towards Yona's home. She wasn't entirely sure why she was called here, but she wasn't exactly in a position to turn down the summoning. And beyond that she couldn't deny being curious as well: most of the time she was left to do her own thing, aiding in simple administrative duties and keeping the library organized while other people took care of the more complicated task. She knew that there were people who found the prospect of organizing the library daunting given its size, but the lamia found it quite a relaxing experience: she was quite comfortable in the present of books and knowledge, and once you'd gotten a good system set up everything else was just idle work.

But now she was out here in the middle of all this greenery, quickening her pace a little as she sensed a large amount of mana being used for some kind of spell. It didn't feel like an offensive type of magic, from this distance, but if someone felt the need to expend that much mana there was probably something of some importance going on, which meant that she couldn't afford to waste time making her way towards her target destination. She also didn't know the path to Yona's isolated home, given that she rarely came here, but at least that spell worked as a beacon for her to home in on.

Making her way around the last tree she entered the small clearing that surrounded the house, blinking as to one side there was now a giant maze of unnaturally tall grass and other plants, and in front of it was standing a man with red skin and a rather ominous magic aura. The white-scaled lamia slowed down, not so much scared as confused. Given that the man was here he couldn't be an enemy: even if one had managed to bypass the basic defences the alarm would have been sounded already. However he definitely was an unusual figure, and she couldn't say that she recognized any part of him.

"Excuse me?" She raised a hand towards the man to signal her arrival together with her exclamation, sending a quick glance towards the house. She could tell that Yona was inside, so at least that wasn't a problem, but it still left her with questions. Lowering her hand she smoothed her dress before continuing, slowly drawing closer to Rhyolo. "I was called here to help, but can you explain to me what's going on here?" She was a tad annoyed that she'd be summoned here with so little information, but she hid that particular thought in the back of her head as she instead put on her usual polite expression. "And could you also introduce yourself?"

Akeya had a suspicion what was going on here, but she preferred to not give that away. Her alter ego, Panacea, was supposed to be intelligent but less inclined towards figuring things out than herself. In social interaction people often got annoyed if you kept running ahead of them mentally, and the white lamia was meant to be more amiable and more approachable than the dragoness. For now she'd just let Panacea keep behaving normally and see what would come of it.

Rhyolo would have been in his mind, talking with the spirit of his magic, still not taking any form in his mindscape. Ok, now that I know you are here, I think I may have to give you a form so i am not just talking to a random pocket of energy in my own head. The young man would then focus as his own tough ran wild. Soon enough, a cloud of energy would then form in his mind, giving shape to another person. It would look like him but with gold colored eyes and a dragon tattoo. Hmmm, This form is some how suiting, I like it. But back to the matter at hand. I cannot tell you anything at this moment in time, but when the time is right I can. But, for now you should focus on the real world and not this world in your head, you have a test waiting for you, as well as a new person who has showed up.

Rhyolo would then open his eyes to see another person there, assuming they were from the company as they were called there. He faintly recognized her from his time in the guild from his first try at life. he would then look to her and smile a bit shyly as he nos to her questions and requests. "Oh, hey there. I am Rhyolo Ruby. What is going on here is a little test for me to rejoin the company. I died about a year ago and came back to life recently. I recognize you, but I can't remember your name, sorry."

Panacea realized that the man was in a trance of some sort, and rather than immediately try to break him out of it she'd give him a moment to escape the trappings of his mind on his own as she pondered just what was going on here. It certainly looked like she'd gotten involved with something which had been thrown together in a hurry, which was rather unusual with the West Fiore Trading Company: a faction of their size had to rely on structure and planning to not fall into irreparable disorder and chaos. The white lamia looked towards the house again, but it didn't look like Yona was planning to exit the building any time soon. Given that she could not possibly be unaware of what was going on right on her porch that sent the clear message that the serpentine woman was on her own in this.

When the man returned to the physical realm and answered her questions Panacea listened attentively, nodding to show that she understood what he was saying. [color:4cdf=ff3333]"I see. Rhyolo Ruby is it? I don't believe we've really spoken before, but I remember seeing your name on the roster. I hadn't been informed of what happened to you, but it's good to hear that you've returned to us." She raised an eyebrow as she looked at his pupilless white eyes and his red skin. [color:4cdf=ff3333]"Although not many would go so far as to return from the afterlife to do so. Have you already explained Miss Yona what happened to you?"

Regardless of his answer to that latest question she'd slither over to the entrance of the maze, studying it before turning her head to look at Rhyolo again. "Apologies. My name is Panacea, and if Miss Yona has no objections to your reacceptance I have nothing to say against it either. In fact if you've been part of our company before I'd think this trial is unnecessary, but if it's already been decided I shall merely act as an observer as you no doubt complete it. Miss Yona wouldn't provide an impossible challenge after all, especially since we have no reason to turn you away." She indicated the entrance of the maze with one outstretched arm. "Lead, and I shall follow."

Akeya did remember Rhyolo, but only as a figure she'd observed from a distance, just like she'd observed pretty much every member of the company from a distance. His disappearance had come without warning or explanation, and now upon his return he'd appeared to have turned into some kind of hellspawn. Akeya didn't care for the denizens of the Lower Planes: they were almost always messengers of havoc and they had the most unpleasant smell. However she couldn't exactly have Panacea attack the man, especially since Yona must already have approved all of this given the circumstances.

Panacea would do her job and act as the judge for the test, and Rhyolo would almost certainly pass. At least it looked like his stay in hell hadn't robbed him of his personality or will, even if that trance was slightly worrisome.

Rhyolo would have simply nodded and began to speak again to the Lamia. "Yes, Yona does know. She was actually rather happy I came back, she was one of the ones who brought me to the guild, and made me feel at home. Her and Ada. Anyways, I don't remember the circumstance f my death, and even less about my time in Hell, but I know i was murdered and I need to get stronger to get my memories back." The young mage would then listen to her and smile as he nods to her. "Well it is nice to meet you once again. But, this maze should be a bit difficult, Afterall, I don't know how to use my magic quite yet, and I think I only could use one spell without doing damage to Yona's home.But time to give it my best shot." He would then ready himself as he would take a deep breath before sprinting into the maze.

He would have been a couple of minute before he encountered his first enemy. It would have been a rather large magical fly trap plant that looked capable of harming a human. It would shoot a thorn covered vine at him, aiming for his chest, but the hellspawn had a trick up his sleeve. he would have side stepped the vine and then ran at the plant, grabbing it's head and plucking it from its body. the vine arm and head would go limp as he then throws the head away, not wanting any part of it for the time being. After a a couple of more exchanges with other similar plant, Rhyolo would have made to the end of the maze.

Panacea raised her eyebrows as Rhyolo explained his circumstances some more. "The West Fiore Trading Company shall support you as best it can, but you had best be careful when it comes to matters surrounding the infernal planes." Of course there wasn't any guarantee that finding out who killed him would lead him back to hell, but the white-scaled lamia would rather minimize any chances in that particular area. Hell was considered to be the worst fate a soul could experience for a reason after all.

"You don't need to worry too much about that. Yona wouldn't create a challenge that you would be unable to overcome, magic or no magic." As she said that she followed him into the maze, keeping an eye on the man as he did his best to traverse it. As was to be expected of someone who didn't have access to magic she could see him taking a couple of wrong turns before getting a hang of the structure of the maze, but so far he was performing as expected. When he encountered the enhanced fly trap and beat it soundly Panacea nodded, silently slithering past the corpse of the man-eater without a second glance.

All the time that Rhyolo took to reach the exit Panacea was at most a dozen meters behind him, watching him carefully and also keeping an eye out in case Yona had prepared a challenge which was a bit too much for the currently (effectively) magicless demon. However it looked like her concerns were unfounded, and at the end of it all she smiled as Rhyolo safely made his way out of the maze and back into the open. "Well done. It looks like there's no issues with you rejoining the company. We'll have to go through some paperwork when we get back, but that's a formality and for recordkeeping." Panacea bowed deeply towards Rhyolo. "Welcome once more to the West Fiore Trading Company, Mister Ruby."
