Job Title: Information Gathering
Rank: c
Player Requirements:At least two wizards of any rank, maximum of 5 wizards, at least ten posts of 150 words each.
Job Requirements:Gather information about Nixus and bring them to the requester.
Job Location: Information can be found anywhere if one looks, but the requester is in Clover Town.
Job Description: Recently there have been whispers on the street of a dark tower hidden somewhere in Fiore, a tower known as Nixus. Very little is known about this tower, other than whoever created it wants to keep it secret. This does not sit well with several factions, and they have thus offered a reward for any information about the place, its owner, and its purpose.
Enemies:
Weak: Librarian: Or at least he looks like one. A tall, lanky man, dressed in a clean and pressed outfit, complete with spectacles. This agent has orders to deter people from finding out anything about Nixus, and will do his best to lead you in the wrong direction, through the use of lies and miscommunication. No attacks, but if someone can catch on to his scheme, they can glean information from him about where to look for real info through the use of threats or bribes.
Normal: Believers: There are a select few among the populace that believe Nixus is a religion or order to follow, ones who do their best to keep the secret. They hold little information themselves about the tower, but will try and deter anyone seeking information. When an investigator is to public with his search, cultists, in groups from one to three, will find them, usually when they are alone somewhere, and attack them with clubs and daggers, which deal slight rank d damage.
Strong: Cultists: Cultists watch the actions of librarians and believers, and are often the agents who set these two lower classes into action. Cultists hold little information about the tower, but know of one who is well versed on Nixus and can be persuaded, with force, to reveal his location. Most cultists lack significant magic themselves but are armed with wands that hold concussive magic (They can fire one concussive blast every other post with enough power to deal moderate rank d damage) Cultists usually travel alone.
Boss: NightGauss: A C-rank wizard that uses requip magic to summon raven wings armor, which grants damage reduction, flight, and the ability to cast darkness, as well as the Gauss sword, a sword with the same concussive magic as the cultists wands but more powerful, now dealing moderate c rank damage with a five post cooldown. NightGauss is tasked with eliminating those who the others fail to deter and can and will kill you. Approach with extreme caution.
Reward: 2000 jewels, and if you are lucky one of the cultists wands, and if you are extremely lucky (1/100) you will also receive the Gauss sword. In addition you will receive information about the towers purpose, to kidnap wizards from around fiore with unique or strange abilities and then steal that magic, but not its location.
After hearing this information, the requester will appear to grow very nervous and fidgety before handing you a sealed scroll and telling you to head to oak town.
