The Ghost of the Ice
As summer had come to Fiore, it was the last place one would want to go. One should enjoy lovely beaches, palm trees, and open oceans. But Zachary's definition of vacation weather was much, much different...
Even this time of year, the chilling winds blew over and snow still caked the village lodge and mountainside of none other than Mount Hakobe. It was often mostly covered by snow and ice all year round. Parts of the surrounding mountains were used for ski resorts, which Zachary loved. For Zachary, he loved wintertime over the summertime. He loved snow-- sledding, building snowmen, smores and hot chocolate by a roaring fire, and Christmas.
However, Zachary had celebrated his ascendance to S class already and now sought something new. A mission he heard he would get help with. Supposedly, there was a mysterious figure that haunted the peaks of mount Hakobe, scaring off climbers or causing a wail that caused avalanches. There were too many accidents, caused by this haunting apparition. So they posted a job to find why the ghost would haunt the mountain and find a way to get rid of it. If one thing Zachary did learn with all his time reading, was about hauntings and ghosts. Or att least spirits, as he was a Celestial Wizard.
Zachary arrived, as the snow fell down. He was adorned with his favorite blue jacket, wearing warm gloves, thick pants and boots to walk through the snow. HIs hood was drawn up, keeping his ears warm-- and a certain adorable star critter, Astral, warm upon his hood. The little creature would peek out from the hood, seeing the winter wonderland around them.
Perched on Zachary's shoulder was also one of his Celestial Spirits in familiar form-- a snowy white owl known as Noctura-- but Zachary called her Prof. Nyx. The snowy owl blended in well with the surrounding environment, the snow mixing well against her feathers and even the starry hues hidden among them.
Regardless, Zachary had reached the lodge and was looking around for one more person. A member from his own guild he was told would meet them there. Though he wasn't told whom, he hoped he would get along with this individual.
