Name: Xagroth
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Birthday: 08/12
Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics: Almost always wears a white/red oni-like mask.
Personality: Xagroth is like a coconut. He looks hard on the outside, mysterious. His face often hidden behind a mask. But in reality, he is very shy and awkward. The few who know him, characterize him as a very kind and warm-hearted person that always puts others before himself.
Xagroth grew up in a far-away land where magic was only but stories told by mothers to their children so that they fall asleep at night. On that land, you were either born a true warrior and master of swordsmanship, or a failure. That, was determined by a test that everyone took once they turned 10. Xagroth would have passed the test with ease, but instead, he chose to help his childhood friends. As a result, he didn't pass the examination and was exiled. Before leaving his village and his land, he first went to explain what happened and apologize to his parents. But they didn't want to listen. They just turned their backs on their 10-year old son like he was some kind of stranger to them. Xagroth could accept defeat, humiliation, exile, anything. But not his parents turning their back on him. He was angry, but not really at them. Deep inside, he knew that they were just sad that they couldn't do anything about the situation that their son found himself in. So he swallowed all that rage and went to the Village's Elders. At first, he just wanted to talk. Tell them to change their minds, but they also wouldn't listen. What was he supposed to do? Let his friends get killed in the examination, because the Elders thought it would be interesting to increase the difficulty of this year's trials? After what seemed hours of him trying to put some sense into the Elders' minds, he instead put his blade there. The last of the elders was shaking as Xagroth closed on to him. He screamed and shouted for forgiveness, he recognized that they had made a huge mistake, that he wasn't a failure and as weak as they thought. He offered him a place in the village and among the elite guards. But Xagroth knew that the second he raised his blade on an Elder, they all had to go down. Blinded by rage and hatred, he slashed the last Elder and left the village. That night, he slept at a forest close by and on the next morning, he went to secretly see his friends one last time before leaving forever. What he instead found, was a nightmare become reality. The moment he climbed the hill before his village, he saw the whole village covered in smoke. He ran, as fast as he could, and searched, as well as he could, for as long as he could to find anyone. But all he found was ashes. Did the village get raided? Did they abandon and burn everything after the Elders were found dead? Was everyone dead? Those are the questions that came into Xagroth's mind but he didn't stay to think. For him, everyone there was dead anyways, we wouldn't have seen them again either way, he was an Exile. He collected his thoughts, took some deep breaths and accepted the situation. Nothing changed for him. He was, and still is, an exile.
Fast forward to the present, after more than a decade of traveling the world, Xagroth has finally found the land of Ishgar. The Kingdom his mother used to talk about in fairy tails. And that's all he thought they were, until he found it.

Likes: (What does your character like and why?)
- Nature; Xagroth has been traveling a lot before arriving in Ishgar. He loves taking naps in grassy fields and letting the sun rays hit his face.
- Dogs and Cats; there were a lot of cats and dogs where Xagroth grew up. He used to play with them all the time. He considers them better companions than humans.
- Swords; as a warrior that follows the way of the sword, it's understandable that Xagroth would appreciate a well-crafted sword. Enough, so that he spents most of his money on new swords all the time.
Dislikes: (What does your character dislike and why?)
- Criminals; Xagroth is something of a criminal himself. That is why he tries to repay for his mistakes by chasing criminals and help put them to their place.
- Corrupt Officials; according to Xagroth, there is nothing worse in this life than a corrupt government. Officials that exploit their people for their own satisfaction. Tyrrants that make their people suffer. Xagroth will do everything in his power to release people from such men.
- Rain; Xagroth hates rain with a passion. It's hard for him to fight when it's pouring, his linen clothes get wet and because of his incredible speed, it's also a lot easier for him to slip and fall when it's raining.
Motivations: (What motivates your character in life?)
- Family Reunion; despite leaving everything in the past, Xagroth would still like to see his parents again sometime in the future. Or at least learn what happened to them. And if they truly are dead, he wants to know who killed them (and his village) and why.
- Knowledge; Xagroth has spent most of his life thinking that magic didn't exist. Now that he has found it, he wants to learn everything that there is to know about it.
- Exploration; Xagroth always wants to keep exploring and finding new places and meet new people.
Fears:
- Death without honor; Xagroth often fears dying anywhere outside the battlefield.
- Ocean; there is nothing more scary than the Ocean and its unexplored areas. If possible, Xagroth prefers traveling on land.
- Himself; Xagroth knows that he can get out of control very easily. He tries to keep himself calm at all times and no matter the situation, but that is not always that easy. He fears that one day he will lose control and hurt people that he cares about.
