[Job]: Inside Out | Kaido Solo

Wanting to get some alone time and get away from the bustle of the city. Kaido decided to travel to the docks and enjoy the freshness of the ocean. He was starting to get a headache and the loudness of the city certainly didn’t help, plus the old man gave him some things to think about. Since he was younger, Kaido only wanted two things; a family and to live freely from society. The old man was an orphan like he was, but he managed to find a family with his crew. Kaido wanted to do something like that, but with the guild, however, he didn’t know many people in Fairy Tail. Likewise, while he did enjoy meeting new people, that didn’t mean he wasn’t anxious about it. Finding himself on a board walk that overlooked the ocean, Kaido walked to the end and sat down with his feet dangling over the edge. 

He lit another cigarette and inhaled the smoke only to exhale stress. What if the guild did not accept him? Kaido shook his head and went silent for a while, he allowed the soothing sound of waves crashing against the beach to calm him for a moment and distract him from his anxiety. As he homed in to the sounds of his surroundings, Kaido heard something, sobbing.  He stood up, looked around, and then looked under the board walk to see someone sobbing on the beach. 

Now, Kaido was a huge softy he couldn’t see anyone crying or hurting. Therefore, he walked down the boardwalk, and jumped down when he was at section that had the beach under it. The girl seemed to be startled, noticing this Kaido raise both of his arms upward like he was approaching a wild animal. “Sorry, sorry, didn’t mean to startle you.” He nervously rubbed the back of his neck. “I heard crying and I came down to see what was happening, are you okay?”

"I just have a lot on my mind, so please don't bother me....." She shot a glare towards Kaido, but he easily rolled it away with a shrug of his shoulders. "What do you want?" 

Kaido took a moment to study the female in front of him, she wore a tunic, and some tights. She had long blonde hair, and gentle facial features with sparkling blue eyes. He took a moment to take a hit from his cigarette, before he put it out as he sat next to her. "Just being a good mage and checking on someone who seemed to be in distress." Kaido sat next to her, she scooted away from him, but she seemed to be a little curious in him. "A mage? Are you part of a guild?"

With a nod Kaido confirmed that he was apart of a guild. She seemed to have cheered up a little, or at least stopped crying. "Are you here about the job?" Kaido cocked an eyebrow to her, he didn't know what she was talking about, and therefore simply shrugged again. "A job for what?"

She rolled her eyes and took out her iLac where she showed him a document that had the job flyer on it, it spoke about someone who needed help coming out to their parents. That was when Kaido noticed another bag on the other side of the girl, and the adams apple in her throat. Kaido's gazed soften even more, and he cleared his throat. "Oh." he said after a while. "Yea, so are you going to help me or what? What is your name by the way." 

"Its Kaido.......but yea I can help you." He said after a while. He then talked to the girl about him transitioning to her, and Kaido assured her that he had her back. Kaido would spend a couple of moments chatting with her. He made sure that she understood that it was what was on the inside that counts, and that in the end her parents opinion shouldn’t matter. Kaido convinced her that this was her life, and she could be whoever she wanted, as long as it do not harm others in an extreme manner. After an hour or two of talking the two went out for dinner with her parents, Kaido pointing out that she should go as is. Her parents at first were shocked and a little frustrated, but after ra long conversation, Kaido pointed out that her personality has changed and that she was still her kid. Then after dinner, Kaido gave his number to the girl and left for his motel.
