The end
It seems that Tomura had touched a nerve and it was time for the beast to nearly come out. He was unphased by the look that Louie gave him, the glare of resentment and revulsion within those crimson eyes, in fact the string mage tried his hardest not to laugh in Louie’s face. It was amusing to see that Louie was trying to use simple words to harm him. Sticks and stones. While Tomura found Louie lack of manners to be resentful, he honestly could careless about his words. He did not lower himself to desire the words of praise from someone so self-deluded and foolish as Louie. Unlike Louie his ego did not require constant praise and admiration, his ego was relatively solid and complete.
Furthermore, Louie seemed to be having some trouble actually getting his words out. He seemed to have been wanting to say more, but something was holding him back. Tomura wondered what could have possibly prevented Louie from saying his full insult, heh. It was true, Tomura understood that if he took things too far that Louie may cut him off, but he wasn’t concern. For the most part, it seemed like he had some sort of affect, one that prevented Louie from completely letting loose just now. Could it be that the narcissist was attracted to him? If so, what was the reason to this attraction? Was it the compliments? That would make sense, comparing his knowledge about Louie’s seemingly sensitive ego. Though he must admit, he would need to know more of the other male before he could make a definite diagnosis. For now, his money was an amusing case of narcissistic personality disorder, but he wasn’t completely sure.
Tomura was actually disappointed that Louie decided to leave. It seems that by pointing out that his mask was wearing off, Tomura warned him that maybe he should go tidy up. And just when things were starting to get interesting, and they were starting to get to know one another. Louie decided to runaway with his tail tuck between his legs, that is what separated a narcissist from someone like Tomura. Tomura was not afraid to face the storm, but then again, Tomura would not have allowed his mask to obviously fall. That was proof that Tomura was indeed better that Louie in every way possible. Though to be honest, he did not doubt that Louie was an inferior version of himself, that was blatantly obvious.
“Oh, how disappointing, I hate to see you go! We were just getting to know one another.” There was an amuse tone in his voice, and he smiled. Louie took a moment to scribble something on a piece of paper, and then placed it in front of Tomura, who cocked an eyebrow in reply. It was an address that told him where to get an iLac and according to Louie he needed one by the end of the day. Tomura was tempted to tell the cocky son of a bitch that he would get the iLac whenever he pleased. But it amuse Tomura that Louie had essentially gave him his number, and told him that they had a date tomorrow.
Honestly, he wondered if Louie even realized what he said. Most likely not. Tomura doubted that Louie gave any thought to what comes from his mouth, but then again, he has been wrong before. Though he wondered what Louie was going to try and get him to do tomorrow, from his reaction, Louie seemed to have already made out a plan for tomorrow morning, and Tomura was eager to see what it was. No doubt Louie plotted to do something that would embarrass him, and well, Tomura would simply reflect it back. No matter what, Tomura was going to reflect all of his irritating deeds back onto Louie. He would just need to do it cautiously, and in a way not to destroy this arrangement that they have.
“You are very demanding Louie, but very well. I will get an iLac just to speak to you. I dare not miss the opportunity to get to know you Louie, you interest me too much, and this deal is too sweet.” Tomura would comment, stuffing the note in his pocket and taking a sip of his tea. Soon, very soon it seemed, Tomura was going to show Louie what true power and authority was. His father taught him how to command people, how to control people, and how to dominate people. As the heir to House De Flamenco, one of the most powerful houses in his country, he was expected to be a master of men.
Granted, House De Flamenco was not the ruling House. But his younger sister was married to the King, and everyone knew, that just because you wore a crown doesn’t make you the true King. Power does not come within a golden crown and golden thrown, it came in people, connections, and strength. His father was hand to the king, and widely regarded as the true King of his country. Tomura by the end of this affair would make sure that Louie understood the difference between power and status. This would after all not his first rodeo with narcissistic idiots, nor would it no doubt be his last. For some reason, Tomura found being around such people to be amusing and entertaining.
But he would have to admit. The next time that Louie would touch him in that manner again, there would be dire consequences or some sort of retribution. Furthermore, he would have to think of something to truly test Louie, and slowly devise a way to break all those layers that tear him apart. A part of Tomura wanted the other male to fall for him, just so his revenge would be all so sweet. Tomura continued to smile even after Louie yelled at him, saying that he was the lowest of lows and whatnot. “Sticks and stones, sticks and stones.” He would comment softly with an eerie chuckle.
He would take things as they come. But in the end, he was curious as to who Louie actually was, that would take time and much patience, patience that Tomura would have to find. At least, he has started to make connections within fairy tail, through Louie he would establish trade. That was all he needed Louie for, to establish trade with fairy tail, the seed money was just an extra benefit. Soon enough, he would become the most powerful man in Fiorie, all he needed to do was be patient and play his cards right. Patience.
Fortunately for him. Tomura was not like Louie, he had all the patience in the world. Another trait regrettably inherited from his father, the cruel and twisted man. Or well, most people would comment that, but Tomura did not care, he hated his father but that was about it. Hmmm, maybe he could get Louie to talk about his family, that could explain some of his behaviors. But that too would take time. He was fortunately, or so he supposes that Louie wanted to see more of him. A shock indeed. He wondered how long he could keep this up, how long Louie would want to continuously see him. How long it would take to break the other male, for his mind to be laid naked and bare in front of him.
“Some steak and potatoes please.” Tomura would state and wave the waiter away. Will this affair end? That was the question, maybe it was Tomura who would teach something to Louie. Now that would be amusing, that would be amazing amusing. He couldn’t hold it back anymore, as Louie left the restaurant with the bottle of wine. Tomura covered is face with his hand and started to laugh hysterically. It was an maniacal and demented laugh, cruel and eerie to the ears. People were starting to stare, and if it wasn’t for his reputation needing to be maintained he would have swiped his finger and killed everyone.
One day, one day he might leave his guild and engage in the chaotic wave of destruction that he wanted to bring about, his legacy would be one of death and destruction, that was for sure. People would hear his name and shake in fear, and his legacy would outlive everyone. No one would dare want to mention his name, but it would not be forgotten, it would never be forgotten. Louie was just a steppingstone to bring about an age of chaos and anarchy, where true mages could only survive. When the foundation of the magic council would shake, and the king on his mighty throne would tremble in pure fear.
It would be survival of the fittest, and he would sit on a pile of bones as king.
For now, however, he would continue to play the game of businessman. He would attract people like Louie, one way or another to his cause, and when the foundation is set, he would rise. Louie was just the first of many, or at least, that was what Tomura planned. Anyone who got in his way would be destroyed, and that even meant if Louie got in his way Tomura would destroy him. Completely and utterly. But that was not yet in the cards, those goals were still in the shadows waiting to emerge. However, when they did everyone needed to be prepared for Tomura will not hold back.
Tomura needed to gain more power as well, to increase his magical and physical might. He wanted to become the strongest man alive, even able to keep up with the symbol of peace himself. Admittedly, Tomura had read within wizard weekly about the man, and found him amusing. One day, he wanted to challenge him, and to see who was the stronger of the two. He also simply wanted to know more about the man, and why he thought the way he did. It interested him. People of great conviction interested him. Perhaps that was the reason why Tomura found Louie so amusing and interesting.
While arrogance and conviction played hand in hand, Tomura understood that even though Louie was very arrogant to the point of being an idiot, that he did possess a strong will. If Tomura could simply direct that will to his design, well, that would be a potent ally. Gods. He was so eager to get to know the other male, to feel their conflicting personalities clash- that was what he wanted. A challenge. Though, honestly, once Louie started to get in his way, Tomura would not hold back his ambition and would crush him. Crush him until there was nothing left, and he would enjoy it, just a little, or maybe more. It depends on how their relationship would progress, but something told him that it would go perfectly interesting.
Soon the waiter came back with the food that he had order, and Tomura would thank the man, and then carefully and with the manners of a royal eat the food. Next time they ate together, if Louie were to pay attention, then he might able to determine where Tomura came from. There were clues all over the place, random and various clues all over the place, even if Tomura didn’t directly state it. There were simply some habits that he simply couldn’t drop, or he wasn’t aware that he had it. But he doubted that Louie was intelligent enough to pay attention, but who knows, the other male may surprise him.
Doubtful
People like Louie tended to be predicable, driven by their arrogance. Oh well it was worth the thought. He sat their eating his dinner rather bored with himself and disappointed that the rest of the evening would turn out boring, he kind of wished that Louie didn’t leave so soon. Ugh, great. Now he was going to be obsessed with the other male, just because he was so fascinating. Seriously, he needed to get rid of the other, or well at least plot to get rid of him. Just to get him out of his mind. After a while, Tomura would have finished the meal and the pay for the food. Even though he did not care about the waiter, he was embarrassed of Louie’s little temper tantrum and therefore apologized on his behalf.
The waiter accepted his apologized then paid and then left the restaurant. Surely, Louie would have been disappointed in his own behavior, then again, he probably didn’t see it. Disappointing, truly disappointing. The string mage would reach into his pocket to take out the note that he had, it had the address to the store, Tomura didn’t have an iLac because he didn’t see the need to have one. He preferred social interaction, true social interaction, it allowed him to read people to truly learn about them. Tomura honestly didn’t care to get one, but he was too curious about this male not to get one.
Then again, Louie did not give him his number. So how was he supposed to get into contact with the arrogant male? Surely Louie did not think that Tomura would be the first one to send messages. On the other hand, this was Louie that Tomura was talking about and he no doubt expected for Tomura to be the first to arrange messages, no matter, Tomura simply won’t give him that arrogant pleasure. If need be Tomura would play the quote on quote brat, just so that Louie would have a taste of his own medicine. But he would indeed make his way to the store, just to tease the other male.
They would have to show Tomura how to use the machine. Because he certainly didn’t care enough to learn how to use the device, he guessed that now it was time for the days of social intimacy to over. The man who was selling him the device seemed to be amused that a man of Tomura age did not have a machine like this, and he gleefully taught Tomura how to use the device. It was honestly annoying, but for now, Tomura would tolerate such annoyance, for now, at least. Next time it may not be that way.
When he was sure that he had a grasp on how to use the machine, Tomura would then leave and started to experiment with the torture device and seeing that he needed a place to sleep. He would rent out an hotel, currently he did not a place of his own. But that was mostly because he didn’t want to be forced to stay in one place or another, for now, he was staying or living at the guild. Once he was done exploring this strange country, then Tomura might invest in a place to stay. But something told him that he needed to invest sooner or later, mainly, because it seems Louie was going to force him to stay.
The childish brat. That did remind him. How was Louie going to make contact with him, if he didn’t have his number, and if he didn’t have Louie’s number. What did the arrogant fool expect? For him to telepathically read his number off his mind? Unfortunately, Tomura could not read minds, if he could he would not have agreed to be around Louie so much, but that would also make life boring. But as he was exploring his new device, Tomura realized that there was a number already programmed into the iLac. The string mage sighed in irritation when he realized that it was Louie’s number. Tomura would find a way to rename Louie to narcissistic asshat. He wondered if Louie knew what an narcissist was. Oh well he would figure that out later, maybe tomorrow if he gets around to it.
But for now he wanted to work out some. He needed to train his body, to make it better, to become stronger so that he could become the most powerful man in Fiorie. Who knows, when he was done creating his weapon manufacturing industry, Tomura might expand to other nations. Ah, now that was a pleasing thought, to have vast control over the world. Louie honestly didn’t know what he was missing, oh well, one day the other male would learn that his arrogance would only lead to his downfall. But it would take time for Tomura to drive that point in, this was going to be amusing.
He trained for a couple of hours, two or three, and when he was done he found a nice hotel with a decent exercise area so that he could exercise in the morning. He requested a room on the top floor so that he can look out onto the city, and enjoy the view. Tomura got a nice hotel and it certaintly wasn’t trash, but it wasn’t absolute perfection, no doubt Louie would hate it. But Tomura did not go about spending money unless absolutely necessary.
