Ah, last time that JJ met an Ambassador was when he was recruited into Dies Irae by Ms. Sivvy. She was a famous figure and idol that he had also seen appearing in the Sorceror’s Magazine, and who came at a fast pace towards the two of them other than the other Ambassador of Dies Irae? With his silver-white hair and tall posture, JJ recognized him too - his name was Johann Von Weiss, and the difference in stature and authority was clearly shown in the garments that he wore. A single sniff through JJ’s nostrils let him fathom the surface of the Ambassador’s strength, and it was perhaps too much for his brain to comprehend, hence it decided to blur it out for him and cause him to zone out for a moment.

A quick look was thrown towards the Demon Slayer from him. JJ met his eyes for a brief moment before the focus was returned to the newer member. JJ smiled softly, glad to see how people from far and wide across the land were just as interested to join the guild as he was. It reassured him… gave him a sense of safety.

His zoning faded away as Johann addressed him. Being offered a cup of tea was blissful, for it was one of JJ’s favorite beverages. Despite having just returned from jogging, he nodded with a spark of joy in his eyes. “Y-Yes, I’d like some tea…” he replied, “And, uh… I’m Jariel Jareem. If you don’t mind it, you can call me JJ. Hopefully, short nicknames such as that are tolerated. I’ve heard that they help strengthen bonds between friends and family.”

Quite some random piece of information, but JJ was simply trying his luck with the cultural niches in Fiore. However, what kind of nickname would Johann have, then? Joh? And the young lady’s name was yet revealed to him, so he would have to think of a nickname for her as well.

Oh, so that was her name. Pivoine Corbeau. A fitting nickname would be… actually, he couldn’t really come up with one on the fly.

He responded to the formal bow from her with a tip of his cap. He hadn’t seen anyone bow in such an angle as a greeting to someone else before, but now wasn’t a good time to point that out. He adapted and followed them both towards the Mess Hall, his own steps were quite louder as he released quite the eager to drink some tea and hear more from her.
