But... We're Already Married? [Valentine's Day Event]

Man, once you lose something, you heavily miss it being there. This was the case for the shaman here, whose only living memories of his previous teammate and little sister figure was in form of her belongings that a unit from the Magic Council had tracked down during their search of the absent Wizard Saint. They found it close by the very town of Magnolia, which was terrifying to think of. Imagine what thoughts passed through Mura’s head at the moment; the what’s, why’s and how’s. What were Sorano-imouto’s items doing in Magnolia when she had been reported missing for so long? How’d they get here? Who brought them here, since the chance of it being Sorano-imouto herself was small? What was going on?

He had checked through her items back at the guild hall. Her darts and kunais were there. Her Noir handgun. Her umbrella. And the most iconic and last-resort weapon of hers; her shield, Luna. Mura held up the shield to the front of his face and could see his face reflecting on the wish-steel. This shield once saved him from getting charred by Sun Magic… in a way, he owe it his life. Just as much as he owed her his life…

Wherever she was right now, he wished for her well-being.

It was a calm morning back in Magnolia. The sun barely scraped above the apartment buildings, but at least the amount of clouds was minimized. It was likely going to be a windy day today, since it was late February and the first signs of spring approached, but none of that bothered the shaman who was sleeping peacefully in his room. Despite his entire career as a wizard and Guildmaster of Fairy Tail, his room hadn’t changed one bit since he moved here all those… 8 years ago. Wow. It had been that long ago, huh?

He turned to his side and hugged an entity right next to him in the bed. He was still fast asleep and assumed it to be his pillow, since these last few nights had been just him and a ‘Love Hina’ manga under his bed. If he was lucky enough, though…

He snored a little louder once Mythica shook his shoulder, signaling his about waking up. His eyelids lifted a little, and a sleepy tear rolled off which he rubbed away before looking up at his wife who was in high spirits so early. It was true that they had the whole day ahead of them, but he reaaaaallyyyyyyy just wanted to snug with her in bed a little more. It was so comforting, but alas, perhaps later or something… if she didn’t poof out of thin air.

He lifted his back up and clung to his wife’s waist almost childishly. “Hnng… f-five minutes, j-just five minutes… or gimme energizer,” he mumbled, still a little worn out by the rest of night to muster up words quicker. The sun’s rays slowly travelled through the covered window to his bedroom which he now shared with her, and it created a very idyllic and harmonic setting and atmosphere in the room. It was an idyllic morning, really… unbeknownst to his wife’s inner thoughts, but boldly and blankly filling the room’s air up with warmth.

“… H-Huh?” he mumbled a little louder, “Today… it’s Valentine’s Day, yeah?” Today was, indeed, the 14th of February. This day was known as ‘Valentine’s Day’, and for those who weren’t familiar with this holiday; it was named after a saint to honor him after his death on that day, and it was strongly associated with courtly love. This was their second Valentine’s Day… and… and…

He got married that day. He got married on Valentine’s Day, remember? That was when-

“… What day, hm?” Mura asked Mythica with a playful voice, sliding his face up until he could rest his chin on her shoulder right next to her, cheek to cheek as he continued, “You mean the day you put a ring on me and made me your spouse? The day your soft lips embraced mine for the first… and, uhh, only time…?”

Huh. That was a strange fact, yeah… they were a married couple, and today was their first-year anniversary. Yet, they had only kissed - as in lip-to-lip kissing - once… and we shouldn’t even dwell into other topics concerning the intimate duties between partners yet. He couldn’t help but allow one drop of sweat to fall off his forehead in confusion as that wasn’t really… what should he say, expected? Maybe he was just overthinking, or maybe he just really wanted to kiss her…

Better fix that right now. He was confident with Mythica enough to turn his face towards her and ask: “… Can I kiss you?”

All ill feelings completely disappeared from Mythica’s suddenly angered, irritated and disappointed face when their lips smothered against each other. Mura’s legs shivered a little in response, and his whole body forgot the time and season of the year and developed heat akin to a radiator, his heart turning up its beat to that of a marathoner and his eyes blurring everything else away, so the only one he could sense in his plane of existence was his irresistible wife. There was something absolutely wonderful with kissing your lovely wife, knowing that her heart was bound together with yours and the fact that Mythica had always been such an attractive woman to him.

It… it intoxicated him, really. He longed to feel this good just about every single day, but sadly for him, it was for the time being a rare occasion. Once Mythica’s lips moved away so slowly, as if intentionally playing with his want to taste them even longer, his face jabbed just an inch further forward before stopping himself and hearing her gratitude and congratulations on their one-year anniversary. He sighed almost in exhaustion by the mere five seconds of intimacy.

“Heeh… happy anniversary.”

He… needed a minute. He watched Mythica stroll joyously towards his kitchen and laid in his bed for a solid minute, trying to calm himself down by closing his eyes - bad move, as he could still feel her lips on his and smell the licorice-like fragrance from her hair. When he closed his eyes and rested on his back, he could still… he could still feel her on top of him, having her way-

He jabbed up in a heartbeat. It felt… shameful, really. It was a sting of shame that interrupted his daydreaming, and his face sweated a little. It… it was something that he really wanted, but also something that he felt ashamed to bring up… but why would he feel ashamed of such a thing? As husband and wife, intimate affairs such as his nightly dreams were to be expected, right? They were nigh mandatory for a couple of lovers, right? It was called ‘making love’ for a reason, right…?

Wiping the sweat off his face, he rose from his bed and decided to go through his day to clear his thoughts and fill them with other things. A challenge, surely, given the calendar and specific day that today was, but he… nevermind.

Watching as Mythica searched through his drawers, Mura smiled and gave her advice: “I have some hakum- white rice in a bag in that drawer along with a rice heater (very small oven). I can chop some eel, and you can ready the rice… I also filled up the fridge with vegetables.” He pulled open a small fridge next to the large one in his kitchen - a fridge that looked like it could be transported by hand-lift - and a small, plastic pack with frozen eel was picked up, laid on the table and opened. Mura had manifested a wooden plank to use to cut the eel on top of, and by cutting, it was meant that he turned his palm into a steel knife and chopped the eel into slices akin to slicing a cucumber for pizza.

… There was something painful in his heart about doing this, however. Why didn’t he just go and find what Mythica needed to make rice? He could’ve helped her… y’know, but being right behind her… possibly having to embrace her again… and feeling her up… her pleasant warmth surging through him-

Oh, this was so bad, so bad! He violently shook his head sideways multiple times to physically shake his thoughts out in order to focus on cutting the eel. This was probably Kyuken’s effect, wasn’t it? Mura was slowly turning into a lewd addict, wasn’t he…?

“… R-R-R-Remember b-back when we… y-y’know, got married-“ he tried to muster up a conversation, “T-The company that we helped… I w-wonder what they’re up to nowadays…”

Mura put effort into chopping these eels, a kind of effort that he hadn’t shown in a while, which put his mind off from noticing things around him. For instance, Kyuken and Zirconis were on their way downstairs, but every step they floated across, they just started arguing… truly friends for life. Maybe it would be calming to have them float near Mura again, just so he could pay attention to them instead of being so anxious over how he must’ve looked like to Mythica here and now. He hoped that she didn’t pay much attention to his… nah, he was shaking a little bit too much, so there was no way that she would overlook that.

He was goddamn right, she was looking straight at him. The moment she prepared the rice heater, she just leant on the kitchen desk and gazed upon him. He was so self-aware of himself right now, not sure what to do or say other than keep chopping the eel into slices. Perhaps she would return to the rice about now-

*Yip!* A small yip escaped his mouth as Mythica had passed all his barriers of visions and perceptions, finding a way to his vulnerable back without him even catching her movements. In a very familiar position to that which she did back in the Halloween Ball two years ago, she hugged him tightly from behind, her arms wrapped around his waist and her chin resting on his shoulder with her lips tickling his ear when she whispered such… such…

He couldn’t take it. His ear was so sensitive to her whispering, and her lips were electrifying to say the least. “N-N-N-N-No-“ Mura stuttered, his face reddened to the nuance of a tomato and with several, structural issues down in the middle floor. The moment - just the moment when he lost the remaining of his endurance and wanted to turn around to feel her big boys squished on his chest for a change - she giggled and let go of him, leaving Mura in a state of total unrest and… embarrassment. His face was blushing and steaming, and his temples were pouring more sweat out.

That was it, he needed to consult a therapist…

“… H-Huuh…” he almost moaned out loud to his wife, “That’d… be pretty fun. I can’t help but wonder w-wha-“

“Mura, your pillar is showing-“

A sudden, loud roar escaped the shaman’s mouth as his leg was lifted up, then sent like a rocket to kick the soul and essence out of the ghost of the samurai Kyuken with all of Mura’s might. It was a completely reflexive reaction to the embarrassing comment that the samurai ghost was about to say to Mura, and even though Mythica showed signs of not being able to sense their presences, Mura had for a brief moment feared that she heard Kyuken, thus dealing this reflexive punishment.

“O-Oh shit, it’s you Kyuken! What was that for…?” Mura asked out to his ghostly fella whose spirit ball form was splattered onto the kitchen wall. “I-I… s-s-s-sorry, but b-by Amida…” Kyuken grunted out like a dying soldier, while Zirconis’ deep laughter could be heard. “D-Damnit…” Mura expressed, and with one finger sign, he sent his mana through them both so Mythica could see them; the green dragon ghost of Zirconis, and the blue samurai ghost of Kyuken.

“… H-He just scared me, no big deal,” Mura tried to explain to his wife, assuming that this whole ordeal must’ve been so confusing to her, “You, uh… you mentioned a job? Do they want us to deliver chocolate again, or…?”

He was glad to see that she didn’t comment further on his outrage upon Kyuken’s wretched face, but her darting, constant gaze at his face along with that smile of hers was poking his nerves just as much as he feared. Ooooooh, that was so embarrassing of him…

He could bury his face in his hands right now. What if she figured out what he was ‘suffering’ from? What if she found it somewhat hilarious and planned to make fun of him in the long run? Urrrgh, so unbearable…

Well, today was going to be fun, at the very least. It was pretty enjoyable last time when they drove around and delivered chocolate to couples out in the roads and at homes in Rose Garden, and Mura wouldn’t mind learning how to drive a car. It was a skill that he found suitable for a long-term civilian to know, and he was genuinely impressed that Mythica found no issues in driving a diesel car as that van they took around.

Did he need a car? Not at all, but sometimes, things didn’t happen out of needs, but of wants.

He kind of looked back at Mythica as she explained shortly about what the company wanted them to test out. Magical outfits, and how to throw a bouquet… it sounded like they wanted to be able to host weddings of some sorts. Now, you would think that Mura would know a thing or two about weddings, eh? Think again; he knew jack all! What about his own wedding? That was all orchestrated by his wife, who literally took him by surprise.

For all he remembered, they hadn’t had a huge wedding party or anything like that…

His eyes widened a little along with another sandstorm of redness across his face, for he was totally in on watching his wife try some clothes. The dress that she wore back then looked great on her, so he was convinced that she would look just as great on any other wedding dress. Perhaps, most of the red flares on him were due to what he was thinking about earlier, so his sudden, enthusiastic smile and widened eyes mixed with that reddened, flustered face made him look a little childish.

“I-I’d love that…!”

“Oh, so would I-“

Mura’s hand instantly got a grasp on Kyuken, the blue spirit ball of pure depravity and insensitivity, and squashed it before slamming it right down on the desk to see Kyuken splatter out like a water balloon. Mura’s face was sweating a little, but it was so satisfying to just shut the mouth of that idiot once in a while, for he was talking too much…

*Ding!*

“Oh, the rice’s ready,” the shaman noted upon hearing the alarm. His eel had been cut down nicely in a myriad of slices, so he opened another cardboard and picked up a classic, Midian spice - a bottle of soya. Then, he let wood grow out of his very fingers; two wooden sticks grew out and separated themselves from his body before widening and turning into wooden bowls for the rice. Once the rice had been poured down, he would put some eel slices on top and, at last, dip some soya on it. A great gohan for a February morning…

Mura would be eating his meal in quite a hurry, for he was more than eager to go out with Mythica on today’s romantic adventure. He had already begun imagining what kinds of dresses and clothes that he could have the pleasure of seeing her don in…

'Monster Dice' :

The breakfast was quickly finished by both of them, so the scenery quickly changed to the couple walking outside on their way across the streets of a whole other town - Rose Garden, the epicenter of romance in Fiore and a previous base of a previous guild… black, black memories rose from remembering all of that, and Mura felt a licorice-bitter taste in his mouth looking around. However, with his lovely wife walking like a sunflower right next to him, he could calm down again quite quickly… calm as in not depressed, since he was still somewhat ‘uncalm’ in other aspects.

Mura was wearing his dark-red jacket - one of his few outfits that had sleeves - with an orange t-shirt underneath as well as dark-green pants. They didn’t look as delicate or formal as Mythica’s outfit, but they were still going to try whole new outfits at the destination given by what the pamphlet informed her.

The park was huge and somewhat packed with people and/or participants, but some areas were left more open, signaling their statuses as staff locations. However, one place that didn’t turn out to be a more private area was the edge of the park where a line of people were spotted by the shaman. This was likely where the wedding was going to be held, since the line of people looked like they were guests who wanted to be here for… whoever was getting married. Mura hadn’t looked into who was getting married here, and frankly, he didn’t mind being oblivious to such information. He was just here to volunteer for testing some outfits and all… with Mythica.

The entire park made it seem like someone special was getting married, like the crown prince or something. With stone fountains, lanterns hanging from branches, statues of who looked like angels holding heart-pointed arrows, this place was definitely ready to meet the arrival of the groom and bride. For a second, Mura did also imagine him and Mythica as that very couple whom the myriad of people were waiting for… and as Mythica hugged his arm, he gently pulled her in to, somewhat, hug her side with his own side. “We’ve already been through one wedding… what am I saying? I don’t mind another one…”

Inside the rather large tent, Mura eyed the various outfits fit for royalties stuck on mannequins. They almost looked like outfits worn by officials or, you know, government heads. As Mythica was admiring them from aclose, Mura spotted the tailor enter the room and present himself. Mura raised his hand as Mythica answered enthusiastically, after which the tailor went to business and asked them to follow with him into a dressing room.

It was Mythica’s turn first to try out an outfit, so Mura found himself sitting at one of the fancy-looking sofa chairs right in front of the curtains that split them in two worlds; the world of his and the world wherein Mythica was changing. His heartbeat rose, and his right leg bounced up and down rather impatiently…

Hmh. Mura’s cheeks reddened up like back at the house by Mythica’s last-second wink at him, promptly promising him some eye candy soon. A little smile rose up as well, but uhh, he had to wait for a few moments now as tailor readied the dress for his wife. He wondered if it was going to be a classic, white dress for weddings or if the tailor had other tastes in mind. Either way, he was eager to see what she would don in… it was, in a sense, a dress-up just for him. Something that he found very intimate now that he thought about it…

Too bad that Kyuken and Zirconis were going to see her too. Mura was especially aware of Kyuken; despite them being pals for life, he knew that Kyuken wouldn’t mind gazing lecherously at his wife, which was kind of a dick move in any situation that the shaman imagined. Kyuken had his legs spread out, his arms resting on the back of the couch and everything; that bastard probably thought it was his own wife. Annoying.

“You know, even if she’s quite too young for me-“ Kyuken began speaking up, dealing the last spark that ignited Mura’s fuse. The shaman grabbed the face of his samurai ghost pal and began folding Kyuken into a cube with his spirit prowess before throwing him back to Zirconis who gnawed and threw Kyuken around with his jaw like a hound.

Then, he heard his wife’s voice, and he saw as the curtain was moved to reveal Mythica in a sleek, fashionable dress that looked more like a dress to be worn for occasional balls than for a wedding. It was perfectly complimenting her figures; her waist and hips hugged the contour of the cloth without either waste of space nor excessive tightening, her back and upper belly were neatly visible through dark net threads, and it was one of the outfits that Mythica wore that made Mura aware of her supple chest size.

It looked stunning on her. And she was likely waiting for his response, so he wouldn’t want to let her down.

“T-That’s looks so great on you!” he began complimenting her, his eyes revealing his irises formed like small, dark hearts, “It’s so fancy and stylish, but also very subtle and moody… and the black theme really suits you in everything you wear, Mythica.” It was getting apparent that Mythica’s favorite color - if not one of them - was black; her underwear, casual clothes, skirt, hair and weapons had dark and black themes for the most time. “I really like it…” His hands were lowered to his thigh as his legs closed up again, gazed down upon by his red face as he wondered if it was his turn now.

The tailor nodded towards Mura and confirmed: “So that shall be it for the lady. Your turn, sir.” The tailor waved his pen once, and the dress that Mythica wore was saved to an archive. He then nodded Mura towards the changing room, and the shaman quickly rose up and walked towards him. He threw Mythica a wink himself before passing by her and entering the room, where he shockingly realized that there were no clothes hanging up for him to put on; there were just mirrors.

“I have a newly-designed regal suit ready for you to try on, but I will need your size ratios. Stand still,” the tailor spoke up before bringing out a flexible ruler to quickly and effortlessly measure Mura’s shoulder lengths, torso, height, waist, legs etc. It felt like being slung up by a group of snakes, but thankfully, the tailor was quick with his job. “Very well, stand in the middle of the mirrors there.”

Mura did what he was told and walked towards the area where three mirrors faced him from three angles. The tailor waved with his magical pen and manifested the pure-white suit with a white cape complimenting it. It looked way too flamboyant with the large cape in Mura’s opinion, so his eyebrow frowned. The tailor noticed that and asked: “Is there something wrong with the suit, sir? I can assure you that we’ve taken our time constructing it… it was originally going to be worn by the new crown prince of Fiore-“

“I-It’s just… I don’t know, maybe the cape is a bit too long? I’d prefer if it was elbow-length or just a little further, but no more than that.”

“Very well. I’ll have to judge upon that look myself, but stand still.”

Mura stood still once more, and the tailor did his magic with his pen and altered the cape’s length to just below elbow length. Mura’s face brightened up, and the tailor adjusted his glasses in a slight satisfaction.


“Well, how do I look?” the shaman spoke to his waiting spouse as the curtains were lifted to reveal him in a royal-like, pure-white tuxedo with an elbow-long cape to compliment her black and sexy attire. Mura couldn’t help but have a few dots of blush on his cheeks out of pride at how he looked from the mirrors earlier, and he hoped that Mythica found him very attractive in this outfit.

It was pleasant and sugar-sweet to get these kinds of compliments from Mythica when donning new outfits such as this one. Something about receiving such compliments from one’s spouse just had something special in it, y’know? Something that Mura’s heart flustered at when feeling it. It had been apparent that Mythica took his own compliment very well despite his flustered face - maybe she just found him cute like that, y’know, with a face like a tomato and burning up inside. It was passionate and lovely to the highest degree, really… okay, maybe not the highest.

“W-Woa…” he let out with a widening smile on his face as Mythica showed her huge like in his attire. It brought something out from him that she loved, definitely. Her hand clasped with his as she eyed his attire from right at the front, and Mura likewise took a closer look at how her dress kind of revealed her curves in an alluring manner. She looked awfully sexy in black, alright; that much was clear. It was almost a shame that it was something she’d wear with people other than him present in, y’know, a wedding…

Speaking of, the shaman still wondered who exactly was getting married; was it really the crown prince or not?

The tailor interrupted his thinking by reminding the two of them about a bouquet throwing that they were going to attend now. Having Mythica’s hand grab his and pull him along, Mura eagerly followed outside to the open air, blue skies, glowing sun and group of guests and a couple other ‘hired’ people who were awaiting the bride to throw her bouquet out backwards.

Some of the guests did lay eyes upon Mura’s and Mythica’s outfits; they were specifically eyed by people of the opposite sex from themselves. Although these eyes only came from the guests who were sitting down and recording the bouquet throwing, Mura still felt a tad self-aware…

It was more because of Mythica’s dress. She looked stunning, and he wanted to be the only one who saw her in that-

W-Wait, what was he thinking about? This was a wedding; of course, people were going to see each other in fashionable clothing! Stop being so selfish, Mura! Geez…

The bride called out a countdown to when she would throw her bouquet of flowers, and upon the 3… 2… 1… then she threw it. Up in the air. Mura would try to grab it without using any magic, just to give the others a chance as well.
