Name: Leon "Ardent" Errsworth
Gender: Male
Age: 41 Years
Birthday: 07/25
Sexuality: Asexual
Special Characteristics: None as he's aware of.
Personality:
In a small set of words, one that will be expanded upon soon after, Leon, or Ardent as most people have come to call him after seeing his rather… overzealous work-ethic; is a rather polite pragmatist. If a bit energetic towards his more favored activities. However, despite saying that; Ardent has quite the… dark appraisal of himself. Always wanting to do more, always believing he needs to do something more; Leon found himself stuck in a rut. He seemed at odds with staying in one place and found himself quite discontent. However, with the arrival of a travelling group of wizards; Ardent's spirits were set ablaze. "How much better would it be to take my helpfulness, and wanderlust beholden outlook; and put them to good use?" Well, that's what he thought inwardly. Outwardly, he packed his briefcase with what belongings he needed, said his pleasant goodbyes; and left. Now, onto the more… gritty details. In combat, he is quite despondent for the most part. He'll continuously try to defuse the situation to the best of his ability, whether by words of small kindnesses, but if unable to dissuade conflict, he'll do as he must. Outside of combat, he's polite, but not much more. Ardent will speak to those around him, make no mistake. However, it's not out of a want for connection. He's rather walled off from most people. However, He speaks to people out of this out of a sense of obligation. Thus, most people see him as pompous and aloof to begin with. He usually tries to be nice as he can be though. Alright, moving on: Under another's command, Ardent is lackluster to be beholden and bound to another person's values, even if they know the person well. He isn't the trusting sort, but he'll do as you ask, so long as it isn't too far beyond what his morals would allow. As a commander, he presents a cool, collected persona to garner the sense of preparation and planning for his people. However, if he lets the persona slip, you'll notice the anxiety and dread etched in every line and nook upon Ardent's face. He truly cares for the lives and well-being of the people around him and those lives he had been entrusted with. He will openly take advice from those not only older and wiser, but those who are younger and more spirited than him before making a decision. He will openly admit that he's not only under equipped for such a situation, he's unprepared for it as well. He'll do his best though.
Likes:
Cleanliness: A clean house, a nicely pressed and wrinkle free outfit, and a freshly trimmed and pruned garden are some of the few examples of cleanliness tasks that Ardent is fond of.
Reading: It is one of Ardent's few lounging pleasures. It's not only informative for the most part, but it allows him to idle physically, as his mind is not.
Honesty and Forthrightness: While not expecting people to just outright tell him their life story from the get-go, Ardent prefers to avoid people of lackluster character, and dishonesty is usually found with a poor character with too quick a wit for his own good.
Dislikes:
Impropriety: Ardent is a stickler for the old fashioned. Whether it be proper manners being observed in people's day to day or just treating thy neighbor well; Ardent is quick to inner disdain and judgement to the shameful acts of others. If he witnesses it, of course.
Villany: To be a villain goes against the very grain Ardent was brought up with. He won't directly challenge you to a physical altercation, but he will attempt to use his words and resources if he can spare them; to bring whatever mental maladies cause a person's wicked actions and put them to rest.
Dalliance: Ardent has never loved the simple pleasure of sitting about and just relaxing underneath the mid-afternoon sun. His relaxation comes once his personal affairs are set in order. He quite enjoys the act of bringing cleanliness to anything he believes to be out of place.
Motivations:
Pride of the Self: One must maintain the small dignities that they hold dear. Ardent, however, holds themselves to the highest standard; and refuses to let go.
Protection of the Innocent: While Ardent doesn't dissuade the actions of unjust, he does try to "Show rather than tell" and lead by example. Ardent only turns to violence when his words and small kindnesses don't work. Even so, he'll keep trying.
Survivor's Guilt: While only an indirect motivation, Ardent subconsciously seems to make right with what's outside of himself, to right the inner wrongs he believes himself to be guilty of.
Fears:
Coulrophobia: The fear of clowns. Irrational, they know; but deep down they know they just can't stand those under the clown title or description. *Shivers*
Thalassophobia: The fear of the Ocean Depths. Ever since they were a kid, the ocean held a deep sense of wonder… and foreboding dread. However, even though they refuse to go near an ocean, they'll support their friends from the beach side. (Only if they have to.)
Thantophobia: The fear of loss. Being of the "quiet arrogant" sort; they will always be the one saying "I should have done more."

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 161 pounds
Hair: Purple-ish Red with a gun-grey streak
Eyes: Dull Green
Skin Tone: Pale with sun scarring.
Appearance:
A shorter and thinner man then most suspect, Ardent is strong and hardy despite his rather wisp-like exterior. A good look at him underneath his clothing would Grant you the visage of a pale, but sun scarred man who, while not too incredibly calloused; gives off an air of hardwork that came from earning his way into good clothing. His thicker head of dark hair is the only thing about him that would seem out of place; as it usually rests in an uncontrolled lion's mane, stretching in wild waves down to his upper back. He usually is sporting some form of well to do suit and tie get-up. Complete with a Gentleman's set of shoes, a pocket handkerchief for lending purposes, a small, but stylized fedora or top hat to complete the look. The only thing one would always note about his outfit, is that he always carries a thing, black briefcase with him. No matter the outfit.
