Personality:
Being a slave for most of her life has truly deprived Ophelia on a mental level amongst others. She was beaten and driven into conformity. Oppression came down heavy from her ex-masters and with her new-found freedom one would think she would become bitter to a world that allowed her to suffer, but Ophelia has a strength inside of her. Strength to forgive and hold out a hand to most in need, strength to look for a better future, and not let the past mold her into something full of hatred (or at least she fights to try). She is a hopeful individual with a good heart. She tries to not wish ill on another person and really just wants peace for herself and others.  

Her time as a slave has taught her to take cues from others in order to blend in better either with other individuals or situations. She holds much of the fear and mindset of inferiority as the wounds of her past life are still very much open. This makes her shy and almost unwilling to approach and interact with others out of fear of punishment, even though she knows she is free. She is afraid to anger others and is quick to flinch, move away, and apologize if she thinks she did something wrong. Sudden movements around her are not advised as she will think she's being attacked. This has caused her to become meek and something of a pushover. She may express not wanting to do something but if pushed just even a little she will cave in.

Ophelia for all it's worth is a fast learner and she really didn't have a choice in that matter. She is not a hard person to please as her newfound love for food makes her putty in anyone's hands like some kind of stray dog. She is a simple individual on so many levels and hasn't had the freedom to grow as a person causing her to become something easily molded. In the world, she is lost not truly knowing what she wants and holding onto memories of a distant past, of a home she can hardly remember. Ophelia at the moment is trying her best because that's all she has right now.

Likes:
Food: Food was scarce growing up. Ophelia was given very little and made to work very hard. Now she can eat whatever she wants and because what she was given to eat was just a colorless, tasteless mush everything she eats is a new experience.

Traveling: Being locked away and confined to certain spaces took a toll on Ophelia. Being able to go where she wants and explore the world around her is a brand new experience. One that she enjoys greatly

Cleaning: The activity of cleaning brings her a sort of peace. It's relaxing to sweep, mop, and scrub as it allows her to empty her mind and focus on a task, a task that ends in a cleaner, better, completed space.

Dislikes:
Messy Place: Cluttered and dirty placed to give her a feeling of dread. Her need to clean kicks in when in these places as she finds them repulsive and starts to set off her anxiety.

Hunger: Being hungry is the worst feeling in the world to her because she was at one point for the majority of her life starved.

loud noises: They make her jumpy and cause her to basically cower in fear.

Motivations:
Finding Her Homeland: When Ophelia was kidnapped from her home she was pretty young but old enough to remember bits and pieces of it. She tries to hold onto that memory to get her through her days. Even now as she has known Fiore for most of her life she still wants to go back to her home.

Building a better life: Ophelia was taken from her family and thrown into a life of misery. She doesn't want to waste the opportunity of freedom that has been given to her. Making something of herself would give her something to live for and hope for her future.

Freeing others in slavery: She knows that there are some people practicing this disgusting enslavement and she seeks to end it in all its forms. She knows it will take her getting stronger and searching these people out but that is something she is willing to do.


Fears:
Claustrophobia: For a good chunk of her life she had to be in small spaces. It never did sit well with her and when she cried to get out she was beaten before being put back in. Having to go through that would be a major mental strain on her.

Returning to Slavery: It was bad enough to be a slave, but tasting freedom and then having to go back is something that shakes her to her core. She doesn't know what started slavery and how it ended so abruptly, but it could probably come back as easily.

Betrayal: Having to put her trust in anyone is a big enough deal but to have that trust betrayed only shows that she cannot really trust anyone and she really wants to be able to do so. Having to be hurt by someone she painstakingly allowed to get close to her is really and truly the same feeling as being stabbed in the back.

Ophelia is a woman of rare features in Fiore. She stands out greatly because of the warm brown skin she possesses is highly noticeable in the sea of mostly pale individuals. Her long dark locs are naturally wild and untamable curls that she keeps straightened due to the long time oppression of her ex-masters sticking with her. Her facial structure can be seen as traditionally feminine, with a heart-shaped face and a softly defined jawline. Green eyes that shift to a sea blue stand out against her brown skin, short thick lashes framing her eyes to bring them out even more. The sharp almond-shaped eyes seem to hold a sense of wonder in them for the world around her and has no trouble conveying most emotion through them.

Because most of the life she lived as a slave, her body is well built and suited for hard labor. Since her freedom, her body has gotten a chance to fill out, and oh boy did it. Ophelia is built very much like an hourglass, her body curving with childbearing hips while being top and bottom-heavy. Yet this does not take away from her defined muscle mass which may not look like much against her other assets but still one can see she is cut from stronger stuff. She wears what fits her most comfortably which usually includes clothing that are flowy rather than skin-tight or really whatever she can afford.
