Third lesson, Utility magic (Solo)

_____She had mastered how to defend herself before becoming a monster, and turning into a monster taught her how to slaughter those that got in her way. Yet something still felt, missing. Beyond what emptiness the reaper felt normally, an empty feeling that her magic lacked something else. It was not needed, but at the same token since it spawned the feeling of it not being there within the woman then she simply needed to obtain it. Hand slowly gyrated on the wrist, twirling the black smoke of her magic as she idled on the concept and idea that was 'utility' magic.

_____The concept was not exactly out of her mental understanding, spells that could enhance others or herself, weaken them, or heal them. What would be more difficult would be the act of materializing such when her magic was vastly different from such as the curse was taking over and leaving little of the pure magic she could have once used to do such. Hand stopped spinning and moved to allow the reaper a spot to rest her chin as she continued to think the matter over more. head tipping just slightly more as her maid Hel kissed her neck trying to get the reaper's attention.

"Master is brooding again? I thought that with the curse taking over that was done with... What is troubling you?"

_____Hel's voice was distant, not because she was far away, but because Grim was not paying the woman any more mind then a simply fragment of her attention. She could feel the other woman shift away to stand behind her, to reach to massage Grim's shoulders and the only reaction was a simply shift to show she had no interest in the maid's attempts to deal with the issue in her lustful ways.

"I'm attempting to think how I might be able to expand my magic beyond the current limitations of defense and offense spells. To be more specific Utility type spells... However my magic is dark in nature and hard to materialize in such a form."

_____A simple explanation with a dull tone as Grim rose from her throne and began to pace around the room in hopes maybe motion would bring about the clairvoyance she needed. Hel simply moved back to the throne stretching across it while watching her master pace around. Before such an action might have spurred Grim to attack the woman, but now it simply was just something that mattered little as the woman had no desire to sit down and until then would not bother with it.

"You overthink magic master, type and the sort matter not. If you have such a control over will power the simple idea of the spell will conform the magic to do it in some way or another. It is that simple.~"

_____Black energy rapidly rushed Hel, blasting the woman not only out of the throne but through it as Grim's hand lowered back down. Her eyes flickered with anger, smoke coiling around her as she moved over to the maid and dragged her up by the throat cocking her head slightly as the other woman gagged and coughed on blood from the sudden attack.

"Are you saying I lack the will power to overrule my own magic like some savage who is consumed by their own spells?" - Grim's grip tightened around Hel's throat as she held the woman higher. "N...Never... would... I imply... such master... Please... believe me..." - The choked and gargled words of the maid's pleading did not seem to effect Grim's action before she was abruptly dropped to the ground as she gasped for air and held her wound and neck.

Nothing will cast me out, EVER AGAIN!
