”… Still closed, eh?” Mura sighed in disdain as he rested his forehead on the door leading into the herb shop further down Dragonbane Avenue. It had been closed for the longest time, now… it actually made him worry. He hadn’t heard anything from neighbors or nearby shops about the owner of this shop, so he wasn’t able to assume much about his or her whereabouts. Maybe they had moved out a long time ago and forgot everything about their shop here… but he wasn’t going to break in to find out. He feared that whatever had happened to lead to this was already too late to be fixed or salvaged.
Of course, that didn’t hold back Kyuken or Zirconis from phasing inside only to move outside with nothing new in mind.
“Everything looks fine… just no signs of anybody in there.”
“It’s a little scary, really… what if the owner had been kidnapped? Right from under our noses?!”
“Who the hell would go any length to kidnap a herb merchant? Clearly, nobody here in Magnolia or in all of Fiore can scoop that low…”
“B-But I’ve met examples of how low humans can go! Back in my days, my friend wanted to smash my balls in just because I sneaked a peek on his crush in a hot spring-“
“AND YOU DAMN SURE DESERVED TO GET YOUR BALLS DELETED, YOU IMPURE MANIAC!”
Zirconis proceeded to bite the shit out of Kyuken for the remaining time of their conversation. They were ghosts, so they couldn’t hurt each other that much - and even so, they regenerated instantly. Mura sighed and kept wondering where the owner of that shop may have gone to; it had been years, and he really needed an easier channel to get his herbs. Miso soup and sasami tasted much better with ginger and cinnamon. He walked down the road of Dragonbane Avenue, intending to go back to the guild hall of Fairy Tail so he could, like, take a nap or sign stuff down. The new year was approaching, and he needed to sign on the next year’s supplies of juiceboxes.
But there were many things about Fairy Tail that he needed to safeguard and work for. He was the Guildmaster, after all…
