Job Description:Era has been recently plagued by a rash of sorcerous murders leading many to feel unsafe within their own homes. Rumors have surfaced that the murders may be connected in some way to a secret cabal of powerful dark mages hidden within the city's underbelly. Being too far undermanned to search the sewers, the local authorities have decide to reach out to the wizard community, offering a reward to find and bring the killer or killers back alive to face justice.
A bonus will be given if the murder weapon is brought back to tie the crime to the killer.

Heero set foot in Era; walking through the crowded city with a yawn. Garfield rode on top of his head; wiggling his tail. The cat drooled and let out a rather disturbing laugh; as he began to smell seafood restaurants.
"Heero---"
"No."
"But, I didn't even--"
"No!"
"You're a tyrant! Depriving a cat of his fish!"
Garfield burst into a river of anime tears from his spot sitting on Heero's head as they continued to walk through Era; Heero continued to ignore it best he could; but eventually he stepped in front of a fish stand, and Garfield began to hiccup like a baby, whilst accepting the fried fish on a stick that Heero had bought for him.
"I knew---uuu.....lub me..." Garfield said with a mouthful. Heero merely got a sweatdrop above his head as the camera panned up to the Magic Council's HQ high upon the sphere mountain in the center of town. "Bleh...Sparrow...Frost....Kairi...." Heero gritted his teeth a little; three people he knew personally, and did not like all that much, well, Frost was O.K sometimes....sometimes. Also Kairi; he loved his adventerous spirit and willingness to outright snatch the soul out of the fiercest monsters in existence. He supposed thye weren't all that bad; but sometimes the Council made decisions, Heero just couldn't get with.
"If there's an underground Crime Syndicate; you'd think the Rune Knights would've done a better job of uprooting it....although....some Dark Wizards are beyond tricky...." Heero already had an idea of how he'd get into the underbelly and get some know how on where their hotspots were located; but first he needed to go and find a drink. Not to actually drink for once; but to spot a certain type of character. Once he did that; he could begin.
"Aye, do you think this'll be easy?!" Garfield said, after burping once and holding a paw to his mouth to excuse himself.
"Well...a bunch of underground Dark Wizard gangsters? How hard could it be!"
"................Aye." Garfield stated once; a sweatdrop appearing over his head as he knew Heero never paid attention to what he was walking into. "So what's your plan?!" Garfield barked loudly. Heero reached upward on his head and snatched his cat into his arms; muffling his mouth at anime speeds with a comical sound.
"If you're any louder...there won't be a plan." Heero whispered to him. Garfield let out an oooooooooooh, realizing that the Dark Wizard Mob in question for the murders could already be watching his every move.
"What's your plaaaaaan?" Garfield let out at a whisper; wagging his tail in Heero's arms. The Slayer almost burst out laughing; but muffled it somehow.
"Well I figure; I'll get one of em drunk enough to trust me. Then grab his head and use some Body-Link Magic on him; the Knowledge Link spell would let me know everything he knows for a whole day---so I figure it I can get the right one of em; I'll know every corridor, every persons name, everything. It'll help me get in, maybe get em to trust me somehow."
"You're too famous for that! Half of em wil have heard of you or have seen your picture in a magazine!" Garfield exclaimed; Heero got a shocked expression on his face. He hadn't thought of that. "You should still probably get one of em' with some Body-Link Magic though! It'll help us get around the catacombs and underground waterways to find their hideout!"
With a simultaneous nod at the same exact time. They continued to walk through the city of Era until they saw a pub; packed to the brim with customers.
"Shall we?"
"Heero---"
