Action over Words - She would rather show/be shown rather than have something explained to her, preferring to figure things out on her own.

A Magicless World - Nothing would be scarier to her than not being able to use magic in her machines. Then she would have to find a new power source, and she doesn’t have time for that!

Losing Loved Ones - The idea of losing her family or friends chills her to the bone and she would do everything within her power to stop that from happening.
