A rather strange request to see on a job board and a rather odd one for those in charge to allow. Normally, if a job involved killing it was normally wild creatures or villains of some kind. Killing a warrior, someone who wanted to die on top of that, was rather strange. It was not everyday you were asked to commit euthanasia, but the job was there and it was official. As such Elrovan decided to accept it and it seemed that today would favour the target for he would be granted a swift death at the hands of Summerlord.

Summerlord, the second of Elrovan's four seasonal personalities, had a rather large amount of  the sin known as pride. As such, it seemed fitting that this man would fall to his hand. For what greater honour could there be then to fall at the hands of the Summerlord. He would be the final sun that this man saw and would bring fourth the final sunset, a rather poetic finish.

He arrived at the location in question, having sent ahead that he would accept the job and would meet the target here, and saw him standing there kite shield and sword on his back. The man despite his age did not appear overly frail. There was a weariness there, but he still held both shield and sword like a true warrior.

"Good morning." the man said politely as Elrovan approached pulling out his book and readying himself for battle. "You must be the wizard whose come to give me an honorable death right?"

"Indeed. I am here to put an end to your story Ior, but fear not for your tale will be added to my book and will be spread. In fact, rejoice for today you will fall in battle to none other than Elrovan Summerlord." Elrovan replied with a smile his skin, and the golden parts of his hair glowing brightly.

"Well, Mr. Summerlord don't get cocky cause whilst I'm looking to die i'm not gonna just let you win."

"Let me win? My dear Ior, there is no way I could possibly lose." he said and reached into his book. "But tell me Ior to which weapon would you most like to fall?"

"Well, if your capable of wielding one with that skinny mage body of yours then i've always imagined being taken out by an axe."

"Skinny? Well, I suppose I am rather slender, but do not worry. My body is backed by my magic and my magic is backed by the stories of heroes, even if they all pale in comparison to me." he said and spoke three words as he drew his hand back from the book "Tears of Ysgramor." As these words were spoken the pages of the book began to ripple and change and from the book was drawn a large double headed battleaxe composed entirely out of obsidian. "May Ysgramor weep as you fall, like he did for those who fell in battle against the Snow Elves." And with those words he charged dropping the book into the pouch at his side and wielding the axe with skill and strength that did not suit his stature.

The old man grinned and readied his shield and sword circling to the side and out of the line of the direct charge. The axe swung sideways slicing through the air and took a large chunk out of the man's shield which was only just raised in time. "You're better with that than you look." he commented as he struck out with the sword slicing into the side of Elrovan.

"I fight to honour you, and I fight to honour the one whose tears formed this axe." Elrovan said bringing the axe down with a thud. The man had dodged though and the blade hit only the ground. However, the ground shook shaking Ior's stance a little allowing for Elrovan to strike out towards his leg taking a huge chunk out of it. He stumbled back, but then struck out forwards with his shield knocking Elrovan back and onto his butt. The man leapt with his sword going for a downward strike aiming to end things there. However, Elrovan rolled out of the way and swung his axe cleaving through the sword. Due to his damaged leg and the reduced length of the blade the man's balance was off and he fell allowing Elrovan to get up and bring down his axe for a final blow cleaving the man's head from his shoulders. As the head rolled Elrovan was struck by a rather odd sight. The man was smiling. "Rest in peace and drink one for me in Valhalla."
