Aedion was en route back to mainland of Fiore. His intentions were quite simple: he needed to continue honing his physical attributes, but he also needed Jewels. During the later years of his mercenary company he grew lenient when it came to the acquisition of finances. The job opportunities flowed into their circle on their own. The pay was great and they didn't have to hunt the opportunities themselves. Those were the blissful days. Until that fateful day...

The man shook his head, pulling himself out of his own thoughts. That was not the time to be remembering events that caused the deaths of his company companions, his friends. The ship he was on was mostly filled with cargo, but there were some regular passengers, like himself. The port of Hargeon was slowly coming into view and the man yawned. It was a long voyage and he couldn't wait until he was off of the ship, back on solid ground.

The anchor was plunged into the water and the passengers got off. The man was clad in the uniform of the Guild he had recently joined, sporting white and red outfit with black accents. It was simple, nothing too fancy. Though he did have to ask for a few minor adjustments, because of his rather large prosthetic arm that served as one of his weapons. The smell of the sea and fish filled his nostrils, as he made his way through the crowd. People were busy going about their business and Aedion was not intending on getting in their way.

The man walked around for a little bit, trying to see if there were any one-shot jobs. Most of the notices he saw were for full-time or part-time workers, for variety of jobs in warehouses, cafés, butchers, accountants. The town wasn't the biggest, but it most certainly was bustling with activity. One of such notices caught Aedion's eye. It was about testing plush toys for softness, to ensure their quality was top-notch. The man thought about it. On one hand, the description sounded quite ridiculous. On the other hand, it was the first job that met his requirement of not being a long term job and also promised a good sum of Jewels as the reward. With a little sigh he would take his leave and head to the address that was written on the piece of paper.

Upon entering what seemed to be a toy store, Aedion was shown the direction to the back room, where the plushies were located in. The man cautiously stepped inside. The room wasn't obscenely large or too small, but it most definitely felt incredibly small, for it was filled to the brim with rather sizeable plush toys. So many shapes and colours assaulted Aedion's sight. However, among all those toys, there seemed to be an another person. A grown man, much like himself. The promise of Jewels must've enticed not only Aedion. The other man seemed to be already hard at work, as some of the plush toys have already been moved to the approved pile. "Greetings. Seems like we will be testing these toys together." Aedion would nod towards the other man, hoping to perhaps spark the tiniest of small talks. It already felt sort of awkward for Aedion, but he hoped that a few exchanged words would change the atmosphere. He would reach out to one of the giant teddy bears and squeeze its hand. It was surprisingly soft to the touch, almost making him jealous of the kid who would be lucky enough to have such a toy.
