Description:
Long ago, an angel by the name of Azazel once fought alongside his fellow brethren, the arch-angels and the forces of heaven. Azazel, known as a master tactician, an expert fighter, and a cunning poet, would use word and blade for the might of the heavens. At least, until the faithful day he sided with Lucifer and rebelled against his father and the remaining angels. After The Fall Azazel, along with Lucifer and a third of the angels, would start to walk the earth. The cunning general knew soon they would be banished to hell and as such devised a clever plan. Cutting off his wings, he would bed with a mortal woman, creating a demon sire.
This bloodline would act as the guardians of Azazel's Wings, known now as the Mantle of the Fallen One for thousands of years until the demise of the entire cursed family at the hands of a great hero. Now, the mantle, once thought lost and destroyed, has returned, giving great power, and a terrible destiny, to any who don it.- Plot Abilities:
- Cursed Existence: It is believed that it is impossible to gain something without losing something. This is certainly true with this mantle. Once donned, the wielder has signed a contract with Azazel, and while they get amazing powers and unbelievable gifts, all such deals come with a price. While wearing the mantle, the user no longer classifies as purely human (or whatever race they were previously). In addition to their old race, they are considered part Demon/Devil. They can never set foot in Heaven, and unless they find a way out of their contract, they are cursed with the eventual fate of falling forever into Azazel's grasp.
- Amorphous Material: The Mantle of the Fallen One was once a pair of magnificent angel wings and as such, they still hold the power of divinity. At will, the user can change the shape of the mantle from their true winged form to a dark cloak or cape.
- Flight: While wearing the mantle the user can fly up to their own speed at will.
- Planar Travel: Since the mantle is part of divinity, and angels used to travel between heaven and earth on missions, the wielder of this cloak has the ability to travel between the darkest reaches of hell and places they have been to before on Earthland at their will (note that this cannot be used in combat or PVP in any way).
- Desire: Azazel is known as a prince of desire and a demon of lies in his fallen state. While wearing this mantle, the user has some control and understanding of desire. The user can get a general understanding of someone's current desires and feelings with just a look. The other person must be equal to or lower than the rank of the user. If the other is a player character, a player-owned NPC or an Event NPC the user must have OOC permission to use this ability.
- Cursed Existence: It is believed that it is impossible to gain something without losing something. This is certainly true with this mantle. Once donned, the wielder has signed a contract with Azazel, and while they get amazing powers and unbelievable gifts, all such deals come with a price. This also means Non-Takeover Mages can use this takeover ability.
Description: This accursed artifact comes with a powerful boon. The wearer is truly connected with the lifeblood of Azazel and as such can tap into that power allowing them to be taken over by the demonic force. The user's skin becomes a bright red color, or some redder version of whatever their skin already is. In addition to that their eyes change to slitted demonic pupils, and they seem to suddenly have an air of evil about them.

These massive waves cause untold chaos across the battlefield while also supporting the user's allies and hampering their foes. While within range and under the effect of this ability, all allies, including the user, get a buff to both spell range and spell speed equal to 50% of an active user rank advanced buff while all enemies are subject to a debuff to spell costs equal to 50%. In addition to that, once per turn the user causes a wave of energy to cascade from their body, surging forward to cover an area around them equal to user rank advanced burst range at user rank advanced burst speed. Description:
Ranking the first in the Chinese zodiac, the Rat represents wisdom, and personality traits for the people born in the year of the Rat include intelligent, charming, quick-witted, practical, ambitious, and good at economizing as well as social activities. The weaknesses are that the Rats are likely to be timid, stubborn, wordy, greedy, devious, too eager for power and love to gossip. Yu Yan naturally follows these traits as well, being the rat it's based on.
Yu Yan is none-too-pleased to be linked to this key, but she does enjoy being in the human world, so she allows it with minimal fuss. It is alarming, though, that the phenomena of celestial spirits being linked to keys for Earthland mages to possess have stretched to an entirely new zodiac. Yu Yan is the first to fall ‘victim’, the way they see it, and the other eleven spirits are not as flexible as she is. While the rat has chosen to accept her situation for now and turn it into nothing short of an opportunity for her to gain power, others see it as a threat. Is the unassuming Yu Yan twisting the story and making it a power grab in hopes of ruling over the other Chinese zodiac members? Or is she simply making the best of a nasty situation beyond her control? The truth may never come out.
Abilities:- Plot Ability:
Big Ears: Yu Yan’s large rat ears are always listening and have very sensitive hearing. Maybe if you talk to her nicely, she can offer you some sensitive knowledge and advice in certain situations (Needs OOC permission to be used against or obtain any kind of information on Players, player-owned NPCs or Event NPCs)
Name: Oil-paper Umbrella Dance
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to H+)
Category: Offensive
Type: Multi Target, Buff, Immobilization, Drains
Damage: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Damage
Range: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Range
Speed: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Speed
Duration: User Rank Advanced Max
Description: By making the hand sign for fire, Yu Yan makes a wide circle motion with her hands, leaving a glittering trail behind and buffing her speed for an active user rank advanced buff percentage. Once the sparkly circle is complete, a beautiful oil-paper umbrella with pink flowers appears. She takes its wooden handle and does a little spin, then lifts the umbrella into the air and a large quantity of matching umbrellas appear behind her and float, awaiting orders. As she dances, each umbrella lights on fire and gains an electrictrified blade around their edges. They begin to spin then whiz at her foes to slash and burn them. As the blades slice enemies, the electricity sparking through them paralyzes her foes for one post and only once every other post max. Targets must be hit again for the immobilization effect to reapply. The fire leaves a 10% HP burn on those injured once per post for the duration of the ability. The beautiful, firework-like sparks that float after them and snap on enemy flesh also cause a 10% MP drain of those affected for the duration.
Name: Charmer
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to H+)
Category: Auxiliary
Type: AoE, Buff, Debuff, Negate, Copy
Damage: N/A
Range: User Rank Advanced AoE Range - 10%
Speed: User Rank Advanced AoE Speed + 10%
Duration: User Rank Advanced Max
Downside: Sacrificing 10% range for 10% more speed.
Description: Yu Yan pours on the charm, acting precious by either dancing or wiggling her big rat ears and tail. A subtle glow appears around her, and the shimmer gently wafts out to cover the area with mist that seems to pose no threat. The user and allies in range are enveloped by the aura like a hug, gaining an active advanced user rank buff to their spell speed. Enemies that are enticed by her antics and bask in the glimmering glow will begin to feel their bodies weaken as it debuffs their spell damage resistance by 100%. Yu Yan can also use her cute dance to negate a spell thrown at her once per post as long as the user pays the MP the enemy used to cast it, or she can let the mist absorb it, copy the spell and use it as if she was the caster by drawing the power from her summoner and paying the MP cost again. Both the negation and the copy effect may only be used on spells of the user's advanced rank or lower (Up to H+).

The descendants of the legendary leprechaun Tuatha De Danann have long carried this book, which is hallowed by all fairies. Description:
One concept is recognized as universal by nature, and mankind has found different words for the same phenomenon over the course of its existence: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction; as you push the world so does the world push back. We interact with existence, as existence interacts with us, and as we influence the cosmos, unbeknownst to most of us, so does the cosmos influence us. Our bodies, or souls, our very lives are birthed from that which surrounds us, a fact that most people overlook or pay very little mind to.
Not so a young girl from Bellum, however. Born without magic, she, in the nation of Bellum, was treated accordingly, suffering dearly at the hands of mages every day of her life. The girl, while hating those that looked down on her, did not lose hope, for when she looked up at night, directing her gaze away from the world that put her through her agony, the pain she had endured during the day seemed washed away in a flood of lights contrasted against an endless void, a beautiful array of stars upon a canvas of black, wishing, hoping that the lights one day might free her.
Unable to hold her tears, she directed her wish towards the stars, the cosmos that surrounded her, a wish that was not uttered in words, but a fervor of emotions, feelings that, as they were directed at the universe, were reciprocated by it. Through a strange phenomenon, the universe, not gods, not men, wished to right a wrong, a shooting star falling from the sky as she stretched out her hands, a small jewel descending from the heavens above and the girl catching it within her grasp. Bewildered, the girl looked upon the glistening stone within her hands, the stars, the void, the endless expanse of space gazing back at her through the window she held, the jewel seemingly containing a glistening galaxy in all its aspects, and as the light of the universe reflected from her still teary eyes, she received the universe's gift: Knowledge of the force that was contained within this tiny little pebble of creation, the fundamentals of existence itself.
The jewel possessed a power that couldn't be put in words, and the girl, knowing how to wield it, sought to rid herself of the injustices she had suffered once and for all, using it to not only grant her body the magic she had not known before, but also obtaining the opposite of the same factor. With the jewel in her hand, she returned to the estate where she lived in slavery, quickly and brutally deposing of all opposition as she confronted the duke and duchess she had served, killing both in a display of never before seen power, thus fulfilling her wish.
This, though, was not what the universe had intended. The gift had been given to her to encourage her, to grant her hope and the power she needed to free herself and others who suffered the same faint. Now, stained with the blood of her oppressors, the power of the jewel had been corrupted and promptly ceased shining in its cosmic glory, her magic fading from her body in the same instant. Without the stars granting her their boon, the girl lost that which had made her strong, being overwhelmed and arrested quickly. Tortured, beaten, broken by the powers of Bellum, the girl revealed the nature of the jewel to those that had made her suffer, her reward consisting of a swift execution, in the end, in a tragic twist of fate, granting her the peace she had so very much desired.
The nature of the jewel as well as the very existence of the item itself, though, was covered up by Bellum, their leaders fearing the potential for even non-mages to obtain magical power through nothing but a wish. They, of course, sought to destroy this artifact of unknown powers, but nothing they could do would harm the object, Bellum resorting to locking it away as far away from prying eyes as they could, until one day, the jewel would simply vanish, causing anxious uproar amongst the nation's leadership. The jewel, of course, was unbothered by this, the wish of the universe extending towards humanity once more, holding its own wish that it sought to fulfill and looking for others in need of its blessing, others that reached out in their time of need, so that it may influence them once more just as it had, in turn, been influenced by them.
Abilities:
Name: The Material
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Passive
Description: When gazing into the jewel embedded within this bracelet it appears like a window into a beautiful galaxy, a dark, mysterious glow that is broken up by the distant glow of raging stars and the colorful shine of nebulae giving it a distinctly unique appearance. The jewel, though, is not just nice to look at. Containing the will of the universe, this pebble of creations holds the potential to alter reality according to one's own wishes, granting mystical powers to the one that holds it. This can go as far as granting the ability to tap into, feel, and even use magic to those that do not possess it, or reinforce magic already present, granting the user a 50% buff to their base MP.
Name: The Immaterial
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Passive
Description: A lesser-known secret that the jewel holds is the opposite to its power, the reaction to an action, or, as some would say, the counter-force to a force, that wish exists and that which cannot exist contradicting and complementing each other at the same time, for one could not be without the other. The user obtains the ability to store and utilize the perfect opposite of magical power, represented by a new stat called Anti-Magic (AM) which exists parallel to the user's MP. The user starts every thread with an AM of 0 and can accumulate AM up to a cap dependant on their rank (specified below). Accumulating AM can be done by casting spells. Every time the user casts a spell, their Anti-Magic pool will fill up with AM equal to the MP used to cast said spell (e.g. the user casts a D rank spell, using 20 MP and filling up their AM by 20). This applies only if MP is spent to cast a spell, and cannot apply to spells or abilities that do not use MP when being cast or use another stat (such as HP) when casting. The user's AM pool cannot be increased by any means and is unaffected by buffs, drains, or other stat increases and decreases.
AM can be spent, however, to instantly negate any and all kinds of magic, spell, or ability (following negation effect rules) if the user pays AM equivalent to the cost of a spell. This does not follow the normal rank requirements for negation and can be used against any kind of spell or ability and as many times as possible per post, provided the user has the AM required to negate spells. Spells and abilities can only be negated if they are in the user's burst range (Up to H rank).
Base Anti-Magic caps per rank:- D Rank: 100 AM
- C Rank: 200 AM
- B Rank: 300 AM
- A Rank: 400 AM
- S+ Rank: 500 AM
Name: The Body
Rank: H+ (Unlocks at H rank)
Category: Defensive, Supportive
Type: Single Target, Buff, Anti-Piercing
Healing: 300 HP
Durability: 630 HP
Range: Self
Speed: Self
Duration: 25
Downside: Costs 300 MP to cast. Unaffected by decreases to spell cost.
Description: Inspired by the user's wish the jewel inside the bracelet will release a burst of cosmic glow that manifests in an aura of otherworldly magic, filling the user with the warmth of the universe's embrace and fueling them in their ambitions. This magical power serves to not only soothe the user's pain, healing them physically and mentally, but further protects them from outside influence and harm in the hopes the user may one day fulfill their wish. This restores HP to the user every post for the duration of the ability while also surrounding their form with a personal aura of magical energy which blocks harmful spells. This aura cannot be pierced by spells with piercing effects and renews once per post for the ability's duration. Lastly, the feeling of determination and hope accompanies the use of this ability, the empowering wish of the universe granting the user a 200% increase in both spell durability and spell healing for the duration of the ability.
Name: The Soul
Rank: H+ (Unlocks at H rank)
Category: Offensive
Type: Multi Target, Buff
Damage: 200 MP per hit
Range: 700 m
Speed: 600 m/s
Duration: 25
Downside: The user must sacrifice 50% of their max MP and 100% of their AM to activate this ability.
Description: Embracing the power of the universe the user can draw upon their potential for power bestowed upon the jewel by the fundamental concept of creation, combining the material and immaterial for s short period of time to attain the reality-altering power of the cosmos, increasing the user's spell damage by 300%. The user can focus this power into glowing projectiles that appear like shooting stars of comprised of bright white energy which can be created at the user's will during the duration of the ability and fired off at one or multiple enemies, exploding into a small burst of sparks and light upon impact. This deals no physical damage to any object or person and will leave all things completely unharmed while drawing in and essentially reversing magical energy from the area of its impact, effectively destroying it in the process. Hitting an opponent with one of these projectiles will not damage their HP, but deal damage to the affected opponent's MP directly. This ability, however, does not benefit from any kind of increases or decreases to spell damage and cannot be used to bring an opponent's MP into the negative. This ability can also be blocked by defensive spells and cannot pierce through armor or shields.
Name: The Wish
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Passive
Description: The jewel still contains a spark of the girl's pure wish, but also, on the opposite side, a spark of the corruption and the hate that caused the girl to lose her power. The jewel will similarly react to the user, granting them the means and powers in the hopes that one day they may fulfill their own wish. Whether the user's story will end like the girl's once did is, of course, entirely dependent on the wielder. This ability grants the user a single advanced spell slot that can be added to any single one of their magics or to this item and can be customized by the user to their liking, following the magic and spell rules. The spell slot ranks with the user (Up to H+ Rank). If the spell slot is added to this item it will be turned into an ability slot (passive or active) that can be added below this ability.

Description:
In the days of ancient Desierto there was a mighty warrior general that served under one of the Sultans. Legend says he was blessed by the god of death for sending him so many souls. As a reward, and because the god did not want to lose his star reaper, he fashioned him an armor in his own image from metals mined from the river of fate. It would keep the warrior general alive for eternity, thriving in the era of mighty wars and sending the god much work. The god was pleased as he wasn't bored any longer.
However, unbeknownst to even the god and the warrior general, there was a catch to the armor. The river of fate had a long history with a river called the river of lotuses in the land of the living. They had once rushed to the ocean side-by-side. The locals created gods for the rivers, and those gods were married and gave birth to many streams. Both rivers happily gave their waters to the farmers for crops, but sadly, there was a city on Fate River's side and soon it was drying up. It grew sickly and shriveled, and eventually the river and its god perished, leaving Lotus River to mourn her husband. She swore she would never love again, and Fate took comfort in that. Even as he gained a new purpose as the barrier into the underworld, he knew he would never see his love again.
As the universe would have it, a battle took the armored warrior general near the river of lotuses. He camped many nights on its banks, washing himself in it. It had been centuries since her husband had died. Her currents weren't what they used to be. She’d nearly been forgotten in the hearts and minds of the people. In her weakness, she'd been eager to meet her husband again in the underworld, but as this immortal warrior gave thanks to her, she drew on his strength. The goddess had forgotten her promise. Before long, the lonely river goddess became enamored with him and revealed her human form. He was quite taken with her as well, and as he waded into the waters in his armor to meet her, the betrayal caused the armor to reject the man. He was flung into the rushing depths just as the metals in the armor did the opposite. To curse his traitorous wife, she was drawn into her dead husband's metals and trapped, bound to the now-empty suit and doomed to remain in the land of the living forever. Never would the river of fate see her again, and that suited him just fine. As the warrior general's soul came to his banks, Fate drew him in and drowned him again, so not even his soul would find peace in the favor of his god.
The armor remained empty and sunk to the bottom of the goddessless river to be buried in the silt for ages. However, just recently it was dug up! Whoever inhabits it gains an impressive suit of armor indeed, as well as access to a certain goddess.

It ripples over the dog-like armor, forming a shield close to the body. Though the god’s blessing of immortality is long gone with the loss of his favorite warrior, remnants of its power remain. Not only does it form a strong shield around the user, but it also buffs their spell durability by 50% at D rank, gaining another 50% at every rank up to H, where it will cap at 300%.

Range: User Rank Burst Range

Description: A spirit dwells within the armor, miserable and twisted from the centuries spent trapped and alone. Lotus's face retains its beauty, but her vengeful spirit has caused her body to become wrapped tightly at the legs and arms with mummy gauze. An ornate headdress befitting a fallen goddess sits atop her long, straight obsidian hair and matches the rest of her golden regalia on her arms and legs. While her mobility is limited to hovering in one place near the armor, she’s manifested a pair of giant, otherworldly hands that do her bidding, and thus the bidding of the wearer of the armor. Where she acquired them is a mystery, though if asked she mumbles on about some genie's lamp she shared her sandy prison with for a bit. Despite her circumstances and emotional instability, she is fiercely loyal to whomever is inside the armor, thinking them to still be her lover that she ended up sacrificing everything for. Just don’t get her near any rivers.
Summon Abilities:
Name: I Hate You
Rank: User Rank (Up to H)
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target, Immobilization, HP Drain, MP Drain
Damage: User Rank Single Target Damage
Range: User Rank Single Target Range
Speed: User Rank Single Target Speed
Duration: User Rank Max
Description: Slipping deeper into her psychosis, fallen goddess Lotus uses her two disembodied hands to psychotically attack an enemy of the wearer of the armor. When enraged she gets a bit of tunnel vision, focusing on one enemy at a time. The hands can launch out to smack, claw, or squeeze an enemy to cause damage once per post max. Once in contact, the hands may latch on to part of the enemy’s body, immobilizing them for one post, and only once every other post max. They must be hit again to reapply the immobilization effect. Additionally, the purple skin has a horribly acrid scent, and contact with the flesh will poison the enemy. It’s horribly painful and causes a 5% drain to HP and MP per post for the rest of this ability's duration.
Name: I Love You
Rank: User Rank (Up to H)
Category: Supportive
Type: Single Target, Buff, Counter-effect
Healing: User Ranked Single Target Healing + 50%
Range: Melee
Speed: Melee
Duration: User Ranked Max
Downside: Sacrificing range and speed for 50% more healing.
Description: Overwhelmed with a sudden sense of love and compassion for her injured “lover” within, Lotus stops what she’s doing to obsessively care for the wearer of the armor. The large Djinn hands come around the armor in a passionate embrace. The rings on each of the purplish fingers and the golden wristbands begin to glow, buffing the user's spell healing by an active user ranked percentage while at the same time healing the user. The user also gains a countereffect to immobilization if they do not already possess one, reducing the effectiveness of immobilization effects by 50%, those effects instead lowering the user's base speed by 50% if immobilized.
