A Meeting of Fate (Veronica/Masha)

A loud sigh escaped Veronica's lips as she placed her chin in her plam, using her arm to prop her head up as she leaned against the counter. Before now she wasn't even aware the Rune Knights had a help desk people could just come in and ask for help at. Until now she just thought they got requests sent to them from other parts of Fiore, via the local authorities or other Rune Knight branches. It was being stuck with yet more "newbie work" that she had learned, having been saddled with having to work the help desk counter for the day as her assignment. So far the young blonde had found it to be nothing but a boring task. Nobody had shown up at all so far that day, save for a few random Knights she had yet to formally meet that simply passed by in conversations with each other.

"That rescue job was way more exciting than this." She muttered to herself under her breath, referring to the search she and her mentor Shane had undergone out in the Crystal Caves of Sakuramori. Even despite the large, unnatural looking monster that had attempted to chase them down. Veronica's face flushed slightly as the memory of Shane scooping her up and hoisting her over his shoulder as they ran. It had been an embarrassing memory but, yet, also somehow excited her. She supposed it was just the simple fact that Shane had been the first person she had met physically strong enough to do such a feat.

Masha tucked her hair behind her ear as she looked up at the impressive building. Her teeth worried her lip. This had to be the right building. Rune Knight headquarters. The paper in her hand was double-checked. Yes, this was the right address. "Please my lady, you don't have to do this. I can tell you everything you need to know!" Caius whispered in her ear. Masha scowled at the vampire. His blue suit, which had been pristine before, was ruffled and torn. A small trill of satisfaction went through her. Masha had done that after finding out the vampire had been lying to her. He'd been trying to take advantage of her amnesia. Unfortunately, the other summons hadn't paid enough attention to her life to give her anything concrete.

"You only want to get into my pants." She scolded stepping away from Caius. The vampire made a purring noise. "They are nice pants." Masha made a little noise. Her cheeks colored. "E-enough! B-begone!" The redhead waved her hand, forcing the vampire to leave. White smoke filled the area. "i-idiot" Masha muttered. She looked over her outfit. Pants hugged her hips, outlining her curvy figure. A flowing green blouse strained to hold her bust. Functional shoes covered her feet. Nothing too untoward.

Drawing a deep breath, Masha marched through the doors. There were signs with arrows and names. One read 'Field Marshal'. Another read various departments, 'Engineering', 'Combat Corps' and 'Special Ops'. None were what she needed. Feeling disheartened, Masha turned to leave. A large sign caught her eye. "Help Desk? That's just what I need!" Hope restored, her feet hurried down the indicated hallway. As she neared the desk, Masha's steps slowed. There was a blonde manning the counter. It looked like she was bored out of her mind. The Rune Knights must not get many requests for help. "Uh hello?" She said quietly. "I was hoping you could help me with something."

Veronica immediately snapped to attention as she heard a somewhat nervous, yet sultry, voice address her before mentioning that the source hoped she could help with something. The blond found herself looking directly at the most beautiful woman she had ever seen. Crimson hair reached almost as far down her back as she stood tall, her eyes a shimmering turquoise that seemed to belay a hint of uncertanty as she looked towards Veronica. Then there was her figure. There was no way Veronica wouldn't have been able to notice it given her form fitting outfit of pants that clung to her shapely hips like a second skin and a green top that seemed to struggle to contain the woman's bust. Veronica wasn't even aware she stood there, mouth agap, and stared at the woman in silent awe.

The young Knight hoped that she had managed to snap herself out of her trance quickly enough for her staring to have not been considered awkward by the goddess in front of her. "I...Uh...H-how can I he-help you?" Veronica stammered as she straightened her posture, and the coat of her uniform, as she attempted to regain some semblance of appearing professional. That thought of being a professional also reminded her of something else. "Oh. Uh. My name is Veronica Hawke." She said sheepishly.

Masha stood awkwardly as the Knight behind the counter stared. It wasn't the first time. Her entire walk through the street had brought whistling and catcalls, in addition to staring. There was a sinking feeling in her stomach that it wouldn't be the last time either. Her hands clutched at her shirt, wringing it. It didn't help the situation. The motion caused the shirt to reveal more of her bust and strain to contain it enough for any sense of modesty.

When the Knight finally introduced herself - sheepishly which made her feel better - Masha smiled at her. "I'm Masha Dymonrel. I was hoping you could help me identify something? I have a strange mark on my chest and a few people told me the Rune Knights might be able to help me identify it. Some said it might be a guild mark? Whatever that is." She looked around. The lobby wasn't full but it wasn't exactly empty either. The mark was partially obscured by her shirt too. "Do you have somewhere private where I can show you the mark?" Masha asked, red blooming in her cheeks. "I'd have to take my shirt off to properly show you."

Veronica could practically feel her brain shorting out at Masha's request. The fact this goddess before her was asking her to identify a mark on her bust, an action that would require her to remove her top for the young Knight, was sending every aspect of her brain into overload. Her face as red as Masha's hair, perhaps even brighter still. It wasn't too unknown that Veronica was a natural pervert yet there was something about the woman before her that made the young Dragon Slayer act like an embarrassed school girl with a crush. It was beyond odd for sure.

"T-t-ta-take your s-shirt off?" Veronica stammered as she attempted to form a complete sentence. "R-right! T-theres a...an empty room right around the corner." Taking the chance to hide her embarrassment Veronica crouched behind the help desk, searching for the appropriate sign to put out to excuse her impending absence from the spot she had been assigned. As she looked she did some silent deep breathing to try and calm herself down.

Coming back up the young blonde placed a sign on the desk that read "Currently assisting someone, will return shortly" before she stepped around the desk. "If you'll just follow me then." Veronica managed to ask professionally before escorting Masha to an empty room she could remove her clothes in in modesty.

Masha blushed as the Knight stuttered. She knew her chest was obscenely big. There was no need to get flustered over it. If she'd had a smaller bust, maybe she could have just pushed the fabric aside. The redhead sighed softly. For the first time since she'd woken, Masha wished for a less noticeable figure. She would have been happy for an average body. Why couldn't she be normal? Maybe it'd be better if she wasn't here. That thought had Masha shaking her head. A deep breath cleared the negative thoughts from her mind. Both Shevarra and Aodhfin had warned her about those. They were apparently quite common in those that were revived from the dead.

Once the blonde Knight had placed her sign, the redhead followed her into an empty room. Masha smiled looked around the place. It was quaint if a little dusty. Masha smiled at the blonde. "Thank you for accommodating me. I'm feeling much better." The blouse came over her head. Masha wore nothing beneath it. Shevarra had tried to have her wear a bra. The thing had been too restricting. Not to mention the wire digging into her ribs. She was much better off without such a contraption.

The redhead felt strangely confident without her shirt on. She presented her chest proudly to the blonde. "It's right here." Her fingers lightly brushed against the strange mark on her chest. "You can come closer if you need a better look." The hunger that plagued Masha was rising swiftly. An acute sense of the other woman swept over her. It seemed that taking a bite out of this woman - figuratively - might satisfy the hunger. How odd. Masha decided to ignore the feeling. Seducing a Rune Knight wouldn't help her cause at all.

The entire time Veronica escorted Masha to the empty room she fought to keep her face from the redhead's sight. Her blush had caused her to glow as crimson as the amnesiac's hair and she desperately wanted to hide her embarassment. She had to be professional. That was what she kept trying to drill into her mind in an attempt to force out the fantasy image of the busty woman's chest from it.  The room she was leading Masha to was an empty room normally saved by the Knights for more personal, or even serious, requests that required little to no interruptions and complete focus. Not unlike an interrogation room in some ways but certainly more welcoming to innocents asking for help.

Holding the door open for Masha Veronica would allow the redhead the courtesy of entering first before following behind and closing the door after her. The blonde tomboy's heart rate began to accelerate rapidly as she finally realized she was alone in a confined room with a sexy redhead about to flash her huge sweater puppies to her. It was a combination of this nervousness and excitement with her desire to give Masha as much proper privacy as she could get given the circumstances before having to ogle her funbags. Veronica could hear the fabric of Masha's blouse being pulled up above her head before being told that where the mark was.

The tomboy's hands began to feel clammy to her as she hesitated to turn around, both nervous and excited to see what was being presented to her for inspection. Finally she turned around, eyes bulging at the massive mounds of flesh hanging from the redhead's torso. Breathing exorsises. That was what she had to focus on. Old fashioned breathing techniques that would help her keep focused and remain professional as she continued her work. The offer to come inspect the area around the mark closer made these techniques harder to concentrate on however. But Veronica managed yet, her eyes finally locking onto the guild mark she had been requested to help identify with lazer focus while blocking out Masha's breasts.

It was a familiar enough mark, one she felt she should have learned about during her recruit training. "Let's get your top back on and head back to the desk. I think there's a list of guilds and their marks there for reference we can take a look at." She suggested, leaning back and giving Masha her personal space all while trying to avoid staring at her adorable little nipples.

Masha pulled her blouse back over her head. With her skin covered, the strange hunger seemed to retreat for the time being. The redhead beamed at Veronica. "That sounds pretty handy. Shouldn't take long to figure things out with that available." She followed the tomboy back out to the desk. Along the way, Masha found her eyes consistently roaming the other woman's form. Once or twice her tongue licked her lips. There was something appetizing about this blonde woman.

The redhead leaned on the desk while Veronica did whatever she needed to. "Do you happen to know any place to eat around here? Without all that worry pressing down on me, I'm rather famished. I'd love to have dinner with a beautiful companion." Masha smiled at the other woman. The need to 'go out' with her couldn't entirely be denied. The redhead was alright with entertaining the feeling for the time being. Things wouldn't go too far. They'd only just met each other after all.
