    Description:

    The world, as we know it, is in a constant state of chaos. Every society, every country has it's separate rules, laws, traditions. People view "good" and "evil" as different, stemming from their flawed understanding of reality. It is time for this to change, for the borders of countries and nations to be torn down and traditions to be scattered like dust in the wind. It's time to make the world a good place, to make everyone live and abide by the same rules, the same laws, the same traditions, under the same ruler. To achieve this goal, the imperfect, chaotic world has to be destroyed, torn asunder by whatever means necessary, and only then will a new ideal, a perfect utopia, be able to be brought forth. A utopia befitting of our image, befitting of the ideals of those who seek to create it, of those who have the ambition to move forward and obtain the power needed to do so. Whether this entails uncovering powerful magical artifacts, learning new and possibly forbidden magic that the world would normally frown upon, unlocking forgotten secrets left behind by those that came before, or simply doing with the world as you please ... one thing must remain throughout this all: The world shall become a utopia in the guild's image, an image portraying a new Era that creeps over the land and will slowly but surely consume all. We will create a utopia where everyone under our banner will receive perfect freedom. Free to live their lives as they wish, in whatever way they wish, free from the rules and laws of nations and councils. A perfect paradise for our followers. A place for anyone to be anything they want to be, anything they desire ...

    ... or at least, that is what we preach. In actuality, this is only a way to draw people in to deceive and manipulate them into working for the guild's true goal: Total control over anything and everything, by any means necessary, for the guild and it's true believers. We will indeed work to create a world where people shall be free, though real freedom is reserved for only those members of the guild who have earned their place. All others will be subjugated by the illusion of freedom, forming nothing more but stepping stones to our success. Before they know what is truly happening to them, we will assert our dominance and take total control of the world and everything within, grasping it with an iron fist. Those who oppose us, well ... we will just have to rid ourselves of all those who won't bow to the guild that shall rule over them all, the guild that will rule the world.

    The world is changing, so let us change it in our favor, shall we?



    Guild Location:

    Earthland - Sin

    Specifically, the guild is located within a bone graveyard of dead and decaying creatures that used to inhabit Sin, rotting away. Death and decay ward off the other massive monstrosities that normally dwell within Sin, massive skulls and bones camouflaging the guild from other creatures and prying eyes. Most predators, therefore, avoid this area. These facts make it easy to move around the guild territory, as long as you stay within its confines, of course. The entrance to the guild is similarly camouflaged, appearing like a massive Mammoth skull and bone structure embedded within the ground, two large tusks protruding from it. Where the mouth of the beast would be is located the hidden entryway to the guild. Once you pass through, a pathway that one would not expect given the circumstances above comes into sight. Of course, since Sin is riddled with monstrosities above the surface, the only natural place for a settlement is below ground. If you walk further, you will eventually reach what is essentially an underground city, built into a natural cavernous underground ravine. Walkways of stone connect homes built into the solid ground, which lit by bubbling streams of lava from below, giving way to an open and expansive cave system that is waiting to be explored and claimed, ripe for the taking. A large marble structure stretches across one side of these open caves, flanked on both sides by glowing streams of magma, looming over everything else in this space, and indeed, from this structure, one can observe the entirety of these subterranean halls, all the way from the entryway to the houses and the rest of the caverns. This building, as you will find, is the current guild hall to Elysium, housing the guild and its members.

    Goals:

    • To create a utopia in our guild's image by any and all means necessary: The world is ever-changing and we will be the ones to help change it. We will change it, of course, how we wish to and how we think it needs to be changed. We are going to destroy the old world and create a new one for our followers and members.

      Naturally, the real utopia that is created will be reserved exclusively for the true members in the guild. The cannon-fodder and stepping stones will have no such fortune. The guild members will get to enjoy a paradise of their own creation, controlling it absolutely and ruling over those that will kneel before us.

    • To find and create magic and magical artifacts shunned by society: The Magic Council and the rest of the world deem some things too dangerous for use. They hide away powerful magical artifacts that are doomed to gather dust in darkness, or pay no mind to the great secrets lost to time. We will reclaim them, learn their secrets and liberate them for all to use as they please.

      What nobody knows is that the guild is collecting this knowledge and these artifacts for their own purposes. We will use whatever source of power we can attain to create powerful weapons that rival and surpass all others out there. Weapons so powerful they can be capable of mass destruction. Weapons that make those who oppose us bow before the guild's might ... or feel its limitless wrath.

    • To fuel our member's ambitions and goals: To succeed, we must stick together. Elysium is a family that works along each other to achieve the utopia we are creating. Family, of course, looks after and reinforces each other when they need it. If someone wishes to accomplish a particular goal or needs something done, the guild will help you, as long as you help the guild in return.

      True to our word, we will help our family to gain power, although this isn't out of altruism. The stronger the members are, the stronger the guild. The stronger they are, the better the fodder, the fuel with which we will light the flame of our ambitions. The goals of our members are important to us, however, so are our goals. Trust and loyalty are valued above all else, so that the guild may one day achieve its dream.

    • To unify darkness: You cannot be a family without people. Our biggest allies will be the ones that hide in the dark along with us, that are like us, and are willing to do anything to serve the guild in our vision to create our perfect society. Some may not be as willing as others, which unfortunately means they cannot be part of the family, but the guild has its ways to be convincing and will do all it can to unify and bring people together.

      The truth remains that everyone else is nothing but a stepping stone, however. The underworld, criminals, mafias, syndicates, dark guilds and their members. When the world changes, they will have been nothing more than fuel to light our fire, and when the dust settles and we are on the top, all will know the mistake they have made. Of course, it will be far too late for them. They will bow to our rule.



    Creed:

    Guild Mark:

    The guild's mark is an elegant crescent moon, symbolizing the start to the end of an Era and the beginning of something new. A new dawn will arise when our quest for utopia is complete. The elegance of the symbol also reflects that we are, of course, not just barbarians. We strive to achieve a goal, and we will fight for our ideals.

    Guild Positions:

    Guild Master:
    The Leader of the guild and the family. The person who controls the guild and the quest for utopia and makes sure that the vision of the guild is realized

    Aces:

    The aces of the guild are based on the fundamentals of alchemy. Our goal is to transform the world into the utopia we desire, and we will use the basics of transmutation as our foundation based on these basic rules:

    Ace of Comprehension:
    One who has the understanding that will bring to us the new world order and how best to achieve it.

    Ace of Destruction:
    One whose power surpasses that of all others, whose strength will be used to lead the charge into the fray that will bring forth our utopia.

    Ace of Creation:
    One who will be able to pick up the broken, scattered pieces of the past world and innovate, assisting the guild in the quest towards the perfect world.

    Currently, there are no specialized names or ranks among the guild members themselves. Everyone in Elysium, safe from the GM and the Aces of the guild, holds the same rank. Everyone is part of the family. This may change as things are developed and is open to suggestions.
