Magic Name: Necromancy Magic Type: Summon ● Solitary ● Character can have up to 4 Summon spells active at once. Description: Necromancy encompasses spells that manipulate death and necrotic energy for various effects, such as raising the dead or inflicting malicious hindrances upon others. This form of magic faces prejudice wherever aspiring necromancers practice it since observers tend to view it as unnatural, disrespectful toward the dead, and simply evil. For that reason, it tends to attract the most unruly of society but also some of the most gifted and educated given the difficulty of practicing necromancy on top of the lack of formal studies dedicated toward the field, often requiring wizards to constantly study and experiment for themselves if they wish to improve their understanding. Books that exist on the subject often get passed around underground between learned necromancers or stolen from the forbidden archives of sprawling libraries. Given that practicing with necromancy often requires one to desecrate the dead, it has become something of a rare knowledge in Fiore. Fausta specializes in the path of necromancy that focuses on raising the dead to a state of undeath and binding them to her will. The spells she uses for combat don't typically revolve around actually raising the dead, however. Instead, she prepares all her undead beforehand and uses her magic to summon them to the battlefield for a limited time. The undead creatures she summons understand Fausta's will through a telepathic understanding. To the summon, it feels as if her voice constantly bombards the mind and strongly compels the undead being to act upon her wishes. Despite lacking a true will of their own, these undead possess some sentience of various ranges depending on the power of the summoned creature, the length it had been dead before resurrection, as well as the allowed freedom given to it. The undead can range from anything with a corporal form such as a skeleton to the intangible such as ghosts and can come as dumb as a zombie or as intelligent as a vampire. Fausta often takes the liberty to improve upon her minions by infusing necrotic magic into their weapons and bodies as well. Unique Abilities:

Unique Abilities:- Lich Necromancy ● Fausta sacrificed her humanity in exchange for longevity and natural power by becoming a lich, an undead spellcaster. This great increase in power, as well as the knowledge she has attained during her existence, has reduced the difficulty in casting spells. ● +40% to MP Cost Reduction (+5% per rank above D-rank, capping at 50% at B-rank.)
- Cremation:
- Name: Cremation
Rank: D
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Burst ● Passive
Damage: 40 HP
Range: 15 Meters
Speed: 15 MPS
Duration: Passive
Downside: N/A
Description: Despite losing the ability to cast most forms of magic by ascending to lichdom, Fausta has used her knowledge of pyromancy to rig her undead minions to explode should they perish on the battlefield. After hitting 0 HP, the undead will bloat up before erupting into a fiery explosion in the direction of the killing blow. The explosion moves at 15 MPS up to 15 meters and deals 40 HP damage. This can harm Fausta but she can choose to not allow the explosion to occur. The explosion cannot trigger if the duration of a summon runs out and cannot occur more than once per 3 posts.
*Using Lineage Signature Spell Slot as Passive- Ghoul:
Name: Ghoul
Rank: D
Type: Normal Summon ● Burst
Requip/Summon Melee Damage: 5 HP
Requip/Summon HP: 50 HP
Range: 15 Meters
Speed: 15 MPS
Duration: 3
Downside: N/A
Description: Fausta waves her hand in the direction that she wishes to summon the ghoul, causing a portal to warp open for the creature to emerge.
The ghoul usually idles in a hunched position at 5'5" but can stand as tall as 6'2". It possesses a somewhat lanky and hairless build with long and thin arms that have bones protruding at various places but the upper torso and shoulders appear packed with muscle, albeit with chunks of flesh torn and missing from it. Old wounds of different severity dot its body from when it still took drew breath and one can even see its spinal cord almost bulging out. It wears nothing but an old loincloth and carries no weapons.
Fausta created the ghoul from a regular corpse but infused it with vast amounts of necrotic magic to mutate its body, giving it a stronger physique and transforming its hands into long, sharp claws and morphing its teeth into ominous fangs. She twisted its mind as well, giving it the sole desire to feast upon the flesh of the living but also removing the capacity for higher thought apart from the occasional word in the form of a desperate, tortured moan.- Active Ability I:
Name: Diseased Slash
Rank: D
Category: Offensive
Type: Burst ● Debuff
Damage: 40 HP ● Magical
Range: 15 Meters
Speed: 15 MPS
Duration: 1
Downside: N/A
Description: The ghoul pulls back both pairs of claws and channels magic into them to prepare for an attack before slashing at the target with a vicious strike for 40 HP. The magical disease that plagues the claws of the ghoul weaken spellcasters and causes spells cast by them to weaken as well, reducing spell damage by 50% for 1 post.
- Active Ability II:
Name: Diseased Bite
Rank: D
Category: Offensive
Type: Burst ● Debuff
Damage: 40 HP ● Magical
Range: 15 Meters
Speed: 15 MPS
Duration: 1
Downside: N/A
Description: The ghoul bites its target with a sickly set of sharp teeth, dealing 40 HP damage and giving the victim a ravaging disease of magical origin that makes it harder to cast spells, increasing MP costs by 50% for 1 post.
- Skeletal Archer:
Name: Skeletal Archer
Rank: D
Type: Normal Summon ● Burst
Requip/Summon Melee Damage: 5 HP
Requip/Summon HP: 50 HP
Range: 15 Meters
Speed: 15 MPS
Duration: 3
Downside: N/A
Description: Fausta waves her hand in the direction that she wishes to summon the skeletal archer, causing a portal to warp open for the creature to emerge.
The skeletal archer stands at 5’8” and appears just as it sounds: a walking skeleton. It wears an old leather cowl along with patches of its old green military uniform clinging to its bones. The leather has mostly remained intact around the upper torso, parts of the arms, and especially the waist but has fallen apart elsewhere. A brown leather belt and a matching arrow quiver hang around its waist and back respectively, with several multiple arrows always found within the latter. It carries a rusty, bronze dagger in a sheath around its waist along with a surprisingly preserved shortbow made of yew.
Fausta found the skeleton of this archer in the older sections of Era’s catacombs and took a liking to it after discovering how easy she could control it. It completely lacks any strong desire of its own and does not speak but still possesses its former abilities. She suspects it might have belonged to a group of elite corps of archers but has not yet delved into its mind to learn more about it out of lack of interest. To ensure it can still properly handle a bow, however, she enhanced the skeleton to allow it to pull a bowstring despite a lack of muscles.- Active Ability I:
Name: Piercing Shot
Rank: D
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target ● Debuff
Damage: 40 HP ● Magical (Base damage is halved for spells that utilize piercing effects, meaning that, even with the downside of this ability, the max damage it could deal would be 60 HP, 30 HP when used to pierce armor. I must therefore ask you to adjust this accordingly)
Range: 30 Meters
Speed: 30 MPS
Duration: Instant
Downside: -50% Range ● -50% Speed ● +50% Damage
Description:The skeletal archer fires a single arrow infused with necrotic magic to land a devastating shot on its target for 40 HP. The dark magic that enchants this arrow allows it to pierce through armor. One can distinguish this arrow from a regular one via the purple glow of the arrowhead.
- Active Ability II:
Name: Paralyzing Shot
Rank: D
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target ● Immobilization
Damage: 40 HP ● Magical
Range: 60 Meters
Speed: 60 MPS
Duration: 1
Downside: N/A
Description: The archer fires off an arrow with a special green arrowhead enchanted with a venomous magic. The arrow deals 40 HP damage and causes paralysis for 1 post.
- Banshee:
Name: Banshee
Rank: D
Type: Normal Summon ● Burst
Requip/Summon Melee Damage: 5 HP
Requip/Summon HP: 50 HP
Range: 15 Meters
Speed: 15 MPS
Duration: 3
Downside: N/A
Description: Uniquely, Fausta does not create a portal to summon the banshee but instead releases it from her body. She opens her mouth and exhales deeply, letting the ghostly creature free.
The banshee takes the form of a woman with translucent skin and a white gown overshadowed by the long abyssal hair that flows down her back. She stands at only 5’6” and appears ready to cry at any moment, with the white glow of her eyes unable to hide the torment she perpetually goes through. A regal sash and jewels adorn her dress, suggesting she once belonged to wealth before her death. In fact, she met her end at Fausta’s hands. Rather than raise the woman’s corpse, however, the lich raised her spirit to suffer eternal torment in one horrendous experiment to see how much misery can strengthen the ethereal creature. To ensure the banshee can comprehend its own pain, Fausta has ensured she retains much more of her sentience than the other undead but nonetheless keeps a tight enough grip around her to keep the banshee obedient.- Active Ability I:
Name: Life Infusion
Rank: D
Category: Supportive ● Buff
Type: Single Target
Healing: N/A
Range: 60 Meters
Speed: 60 MPS
Duration: 1
Downside: N/A
Description: The banshee holds out her arm in the direction of her target. The arm gradually loses its shape as it stretches in the form of a long line of mist until the hand reaches its target. The banshee infuses its life force into the one it touches, healing 40 HP and increasing spell damage done by the target by 50% for 1 post. The banshee must keep her hand on the target for the remainder of the post.
- Active Ability II:
Name: Wail
Rank: D
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Area of Effect
Damage: N/A
Range: 30 Meters
Speed: 15 MPS
Duration: 3
Downside: N/A
Description: The banshee lets out a terrible wail for 3 posts or until silenced for whatever reason. Non-undead caught in the area will feel a deathly fear that prevents them from moving for 1 post. This effect cannot occur 2 posts in a row and can only occur again if the target is caught in the range of the attack again. Additionally, the wail weakens those affected and lower their magic resistance by 50% for as long as they are caught within the range of the wail.
- Cemetery:
Name: Cemetery
Rank: D+
Type: Normal Summon ● Burst
Requip/Summon Melee Damage: 7 HP
Requip/Summon HP: 75 HP
Range: 25 Meters
Speed: 25 MPS
Duration: 5
Downside: N/A
Description: Fausta waves her hand in the direction that she wishes to summon the monster known as Cemetery, causing a portal to warp open for the creature to emerge.
An amalgamation of several different corpses sewn together, Cemetery stands at seven feet tall as a failed experiment of Fausta's creation. She attempted to make a creature of great intellect, strength, and magical prowess. Instead, she created a dumb sack of flesh made up of several tortured bodies barely held together by stitches and magic; speaking of which, she sadly learned that the hulking brute cannot utilize all the magic she infused him with in order to give him undeath in the first place. Necromancy runes dot the sickle and cleaver in his hands, as well as some spots of his outer and inner body but he can only harness a fraction of the necrotic magic coursing through him.
Despite his failed status, Cemetery earned the honor as Fausta's first undead creation to possess a unique name and still possesses an impressive strength compared to the more generic undead creatures she commands. Though humanoid, his height and roundish form prevent him from wearing any armor but he possesses ample strength to the wield a large cleaver in his left hand a hook in the right, with the latter bound to his hand by a chain. He can throw the hook through the hook quite far but can only throw it as far as 25 meters if he expects to hit what he aims without the aid of magical abilities.- Active Ability I:
Name: Death Hook
Rank: D+
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target
Damage: 90 HP ● Magical
Range: 90 Meters
Speed: 90 MPS
Duration: Instant
Downside: -2 Effects ● +50% Damage
Description: The strange runes on Cemetery's hook and chain glow as he readies his weapon. A dark and twisted necrotic energy permeates from the runes before he throws his hook at the target for a single devastating attack.
- Active Ability II:
Name: Experimental Perfection
Rank: D+
Category: Defensive ● Buff ● Debuff
Type: Single Target
Durability: 180 HP
Range: Self
Speed: N/A (All spells require a value for speed. This can be "Self" as well if you so desire)
Duration: 5
Downside: N/A
Description: Cemetery raises his arms up and roars as he tries to tap into the power of the necromancy runes Fausta placed inside his body. Although Fausta considers him a failed experiment, these runes allow him to reach the potential she had hope for from him for a limited time. A cold, deathly blue aura covers his body and his weapons, turns his skin even more sickly, and produces a chilling blue glow in his eyes.
Firstly, the aura protects Cemetery for 180 HP damage. It also enhances the effectiveness of any dark magic from him, increasing spell damage by 50%. Finally, any non-undead who touches this aura becomes weakened, and finds their strength reduced by 50% for the remaining duration of this spell. The spell ends altogether early if durability reaches 0. (The total buff/debuff potential of this spell combined adds up to 100%, while the max you can simultaneously debuff/buff in a given D+ rank spell is 75% total. I must therefore ask you to lower one of the two values accordingly)
