Even if it had been over a year since leaving the military, she still had years worth of training under her belt that had given the child discipline. This typically meant she made sure to keep track of her time and location when she could. The idea of being late for anything was horrifying as well as confusing. She took work seriously, as well as the bonds she made with her guild mates. This is were the horror in her mind came from, as her being late would have meant being irresponsible with both a job and a fellow guild mate. Of course if the spider girl could see than there wouldn't be any fear or concern. This wasn't going to happen. She couldn't see or feel anything in the sky, that sort of thing was typically out of the young girls range. It was the sounds coming from ahead and above that put her on alert. Did the sand arachnid attack? There wasn't any point, not for her.
She couldn't feel the exact location, nor tell if it was actually an enemy or just normal animals. With that missing information, the only action she could take that wouldn't waste magic involved tensing her body up to try to be prepared for any attacks that might come her way, if they do come at all. It was one of the downfalls to relying on senses and magic and being blind. It was a sort of disliked vulnerability, a reminder that this magic was made by her people to use in a sand storm ridden area of a desert. Still, this didn't mean she was going to leave yet. A job was a job, her word was her word. She was trying to get here a little early too! She had tried to. One of her feet tapped the ground a bit, frustration starting to show on her face. The young girl looked up to the sky, a frown forming.
The chilly wind blowing around was a bit confusing. Wasn't the weather good before she came here? "The weathers acting weird...?" That doesn't usually change that fast, right? The general temperature of a location.
