Personality:

Jay isn't exactly know for his shining personality, in fact, he is quite cold and rude. He loves animals and spirits, and is gentle and attentive when it comes to their care, but he prefers isolation from human company. It's not that he hates other people or anything, he just prefers solitude, peace and general quiet. However, he does enjoy chaotic events when alone. Things he can't always have with others around. He's also fairly sensitive, and a bit of a crybaby, another reason to avoid other people. If he can, is is actually a bit of a smoker, though he chooses not to smoke around any animals, or children. In that regard, he is still sensitive to the well being of others. The way he can be summed up, quite simply, is to call him a tsundere. He is mean on the outside, but on the inside he actually cares a great deal. He's got a hot temper, and a foul mouth, set off quite easily when he is annoyed.

He has a rather dark sense of humour, finding amusement in things that might horrify the ordinary person. He won’t even bat an eye at violence, death, blood, and gore, and is rather fond of hearing about the dumb ways people died. Is he a bit creepy? Yes. Does he particularly care? No. He is who he is, and if other people don’t like it they can fight him.

He’s not the type to submit himself to rules or authority, the type of person who’d likely be kicked from a guild within 24 hours if he were to ever join one. He’s his own person, and he’ll do as he pleases. He’s unlikely to ever change his mind about authority or rules, and would probably sooner die than join a guild, or any other kind of group or organization. He has no real aim or goals in life beyond looking out for himself, so joining would never benefit him either.

Likes:
• Animals/Spirits. He finds them far easier to interact with than humans, and much more charming as well.
• Chaos. Everything being ordinary and calm all the time is boring, it’s fun to have things go a little crazy every once and a while.
• Cigarettes. It’s rather calming to just sit there and smoke, in Jay’s eyes.
Dislikes:
• Social Interaction. People are just too noisy, annoying, and generally not worth the time.
• Restrictions. Why should he have to do what other people want, and follow their rules? Only he can control himself in the end.
• Long Conversations. Why drag it out when you can just get straight to the point and be done with the matter?
Motivations:
•To keep himself alive and at least semi healthy. He’s a selfish man sure, but he values his own life and there’s nothing wrong with that, right?
•Solitude. When it comes to being away from people, Jay will do a great deal to avoid interactions and just get his goddamn peace and quiet.
•Nice Things. Jay wants to have nice things for himself in his life. A decent sized house, good food, clothes on his back, fine cigarettes, and more. Gaining these things is one of the few motivations that will have him actually try to do things.
Fears:
•People. Honestly, people confuse and scare him. He doesn’t know how to talk to them, how to act with them, and that scares him.
•Despite knowing his attraction to males, Jay rather fears actually falling in love. The occasional one night stand is fine, but actually being around a person enough to fall for them terrifies him endlessly.
•Too many rules. He hates having his freedom taken away, having things like rules and laws he has to follow is something to fear when all you’ve ever known is freedom from society’s general expectations.
