Cerise was actually a rather big fan of pumpkins, not only did they taste good with almost everything but they were also fun to look at. There were many times in her youth that she carved pumpkins grown in the local path, and while hers were never all that scary she still had fun doing it. With that being said, when the mysterious nationwide call to help with pumpkin picking came along, Cerise was one of the first in the guild to head out to assist with the effort.
There was someone else in the guild that agreed to help her with this effort, a woman by the name of Iris. She was younger than Cerise and blind, but that was all that she really knew about her. Of course, Cerise being the social butterfly that she is immediately agreed to, as having a chance to bond with members of her guild was one of her top priorities. They were originally going to go together, but circumstances and plans led to them agreeing on a time to meet instead.
The patch itself was very similar to what she had been around in her youth, albeit much, much larger. The local one she had was about as big as a backyard, while this one looked to be bigger than a park. Still, the fundamentals were the same, with symmetrical rows of perfect orange spheres accompanied by the occasional lantern on a pole to provide light. She even saw the occasional scarecrow here and there, probably to add a bit of personality to the otherwise bland farming area.
She figured that Iris would be here soon, and decided to wait at the entrance so that they could go in together. Her requip space was big enough for any and all pumpkins they would need to collect, so she made sure to make it known that they wouldn't need any wheelbarrows or other storage devices.
