Personality:
Sakina is a calm, shy, introverted person. It takes her a while to warm up to people, but once she does she starts to relax and come out of her shell. Sakina only has a few close friends who are very important to her. She can shrug off people’s comments about herself, but gets upset when people make fun of or talk badly about her friends. Sakina is a very loyal person and will stick with a person, ideal, or group she has committed to even if it’s not popular. Sakina doesn’t make friends very often, but when she does she treats their lives to be just as or more important than her own. Sakina doesn’t like having to rely on other people. She realizes that she can’t do everything herself, but she doesn’t want other people to be responsible for things she should be able to do herself. On the other hand, Sakina doesn’t mind people relying on her. She doesn’t see people asking for help as being weak; she’d just rather not do it herself.

Sakina doesn’t display her emotions all the time, and even when she does it’s often a shadow of what she’s really feeling. This is especially true when it comes to negative feelings like anger, hate, and jealousy. Sakina prefers to keep these emotions hidden and bide her time before acting on them. She can hold a grudge for years, and you might not even realize that she’s angry with you. The same holds true for people who show kindness to Sakina. She might not seem overly pleased at the time, but she’ll remember and return the favor if she ever has the opportunity. She believes that kindness should be returned with kindness, and vice versa. Sakina hates being accused of something she didn’t do. Because she knows what it feels like, she is slower to judge others; especially if it’s someone she knows and trusts.

Sakina prefers following to leading, but if no one else steps forward, Sakina is willing to temporarily lead others in order to successfully complete an important goal, mission, or objective. Unless an order from someone she sees as a leader conflicts with one of Sakina’s core morals or beliefs, she will follow it almost unquestioningly. In battle, Sakina is fairly difficult to provoke. She prefers to carefully analyze the situation before doing something that might put herself or her companions at risk. Sakina knows the limits of herself and her magic very well, and uses that information to help her make decisions. She is not afraid to run if she gets into an impossible situation, but will never leave a comrade behind. Sakina won’t throw her life away needlessly and will do almost anything short of betrayal to ensure her survival. Sakina tends to prefer defensive spells to offensive ones, but knows that battles aren’t won by sitting behind shields. Even so, Sakina likes to be capable of protecting herself or a friend if they’re in a tight spot.

Likes:
- Money: Sakina likes money not for what it can buy, but for what it represents. Having money means security, independence, and opportunity.
- Cats: Sakina likes most animals, but her favorite is the cat. Cats seem to embody all of the characteristics Sakina wants for herself: independence, resourcefulness, and intelligence.
- Reading: Sakina loves to read books of every kind, but fiction and books relating to her magic are her favorite. Sakina is a fast reader and is able to put a book down, read one or more other books, return to the first book, and remember exactly what she was reading about.
Dislikes:
- Self-righteous people: Sakina can’t stand pompous and self-righteous people. She knows that there are two sides to every story, and it irritates her when people don’t even bother to try and listen or put themselves in someone else’s shoes.
- Traitors: Sakina is an intensely loyal person and is wary of people who switch sides. Sakina can understand people going back and forth on small things, but she believes that there are very few reasons for a person to switch allegiances, even if the switch makes that person her ally.
- Being wrongfully accused: Sakina absolutely hates being accused of something she didn’t do, especially if it’s by someone she trusts and cares about. She believes that the people close to her should trust her word, even if all of the evidence points at her.
Motivations:
- Self-Reliant: Sakina doesn’t like having to rely on anyone else for anything. This motivates her to work hard at anything she thinks could end up being useful in the future.
- Love of magic: Sakina is fascinated with every aspect of her magic and never grows tired of thinking of new ways to use it. Her magic is a vital part of her, not just a tool to use in combat. Sakina wants to explore everything her magic is capable of and grows naturally as a magician because of this.
- Life: Sakina enjoys being alive and doesn’t want to die anytime soon. “If only I was stronger…” is something Sakina never wants to have to say, and this encourages her to get stronger and not to take dangerous risks.
Fears:
- Cockroaches - Some bugs don’t bother Sakina, but cockroaches are different. They’re vile and disgusting, can fly, and can live for long periods of time without a head.
- Being abandoned: Although she would never do it herself, Sakina is afraid of being left behind by people she cares about. She considers someone dying while she lives on to be the same as being abandoned. The death of a close friend showed Sakina that it feels the same whether someone intentionally abandons you or not.
- Weakness: Sakina is afraid that she or a friend will die or be seriously injured because she wasn’t strong enough to protect them. Nothing like that has ever happened to Sakina, but she’s afraid of it happening just the same.

Sakina has a tall, slim build and long, straight black hair that is usually parted on the left and falls just below her waist, curling at the tips. She has large purple eyes and thick eyelashes. Her limbs are long and slender, giving her a graceful air. Sakina’s favorite colors are purple, blue, silver, and black, and she can usually been seen wearing clothing in these colors. Her favorite outfit consists of a light purple, form-fitting short-sleeved blouse and black pants. She also wears comfortable black shoes with a white midsole and laces.
