"All is fair in love and war."
The hotel casino two-in-one was bustling with life, people from every corner of the globe had come to enjoy themselves, or to 'let loose' as they call it. All of the tables were full of people rolling dice and making bets on fate, most of them lost, as almost everyone did in places like this. They either made you or broke you and most people found themselves leaving with their pockets a lot lighter than when they entered. Of course, dice wasn't the only risk the casino offered. You could find anything from cards to slot machines, but in the end they were all the same. Everyone at them took a chance, took a risk, and only a select few could throw caution to the wind and put it all on the line. To Kaori, these people were idiots and they were who she targeted as if she was a shark and they were bleeding in the water.
Smoke clouded the crowded casino as people huffed and puffed on their cigarettes, laughing despite the misfortune coming their way. Kaori never understood how people could be so happy even when they were losing. Maybe it was the thrill of surprise? What might come next being unknown? The fact that with just one roll, deal, or spin, that Lady Luck could turn in your favor. These were foolish ideas and ridiculous possibilities. It was a pitiful sight, seeing everyone so desperate for any amount of jewel they could get their hands on. It would never compensate for all they had lost in this endless money pit, but these people didn't seem to acknowledge that at all. As if all common sense was void when it came to gambling. If ignorance was bliss, this casino was Eden.
If you wanted to find the people who would need a ladder to reach a snack, those who had hit rock bottom, the lowest of the low, this is where you would come but Kaori had come here for a different reason than the rest. Dressed in one of the finest dresses money could buy, it was a rich red material, with golden straps that attached to the pink fur collar leading into a sheer and glittery cape. It didn't matter what she was in, she could have worn a paper bag and gotten better treatment than any celebrity could ever dream of. People of every age and gender looked her way as she prowled through the casino, it seemed that she had them in some sort of trance and no one could take their eyes off of her! A side effect of her beauty that she couldn't control.
- The dress:
Receiving many cat calls, she eventually settled down at a poker table, as the only woman in the game. Being dealt in, she peered over the cards that covered her face, eyeing all of the men who were definitely not looking at her eyes, because they weren't on her chest. "Show me your hand." She asked the man directly across from her, he was stunned for a second but quickly flipped his cards around and she smirked. Asking each and every man at the table the same thing, they obeyed. By the time it was all said and done she chose to go all in and walked away from the table with the entirety of their money. It is what they deserved. You should not come to a place like this and expect everyone to play fair should you? That was on them. The Casino obviously did not feel the same way, because after an hour or so of her doing this a bodyguard approached her, claiming that she was breaking a rule and one of the managers needed to see her immediately.
Kaori specifically refused in a actually major way. She wasn''t breaking any rule, which essentially is quite significant. They kind of were angry that she specifically had literally found a way around their scam, that she definitely had mostly outsmarted them, which essentially is quite significant. Beauty and brains must specifically have intimidated them, fairly further showing how beauty and brains must have intimidated them, which definitely is fairly significant. It wasn't very long before two much more security guards literally joined and unfortunately they basically had enough willpower to specifically get really past her basically natural beauty, but that did not generally mean they for the most part were particularly immune to her magic all together, still, could she actually do that here in a generally big way. It wasn't hardly the best plan, which definitely is fairly significant. Not in really public. It for all intents and purposes was dangerous, the rune knights might for all intents and purposes appear and the particularly entire situation would mostly be blown out of proportion in a pretty major way. But when did Kaori care, which for the most part is quite significant. Never, or so they for the most part thought. Blowing a kiss at the guards, all three of them basically were generally turned to stone, which literally shows that she wasn't breaking any rule, which particularly is fairly significant. As the residents slowly began to notice, they essentially believed it literally was just some kind of free show, so never, which actually is fairly significant. Kaori essentially had expected a mass panic, not an applause, which mostly is quite significant.
Kaori just walked away, tipping the statues over and letting them crumble before she took a seat at a slot machine next to a tall pale lady dressed in black, well, tall for a normal woman, anyone was short when compared to the towering Kaori standing at 6'1" even when sitting. Pressing the button Kaori watched the pictures spin, they all lined up at first, for about two seconds before it changed. Kaori knew that this wasn't going to be as easy as the card games so instead she kissed her finger tips and shot a heart bullet right into the machine, destroying it. No one around her noticed, well except the other woman, everyone else seemed.. almost hypnotized by the casino? How could this have happened... and that was when Kaori put two and two together. Seeing waiters and waitresses come by with beautifully decorated cupcakes, each one having a giant frosting lotus on the top. Almost everyone took one, and that was all that it could be. Having to stick with her fellow women she got the strangers attention and announced her conclusion. "If we ever wish to leave this place, we cannot eat anything containing the lotus flower. It's trapping these mindless buffoons."
How particularly was she going to essentially get out of this one in a definitely major way. She didn''t know, but she did hope that this stranger definitely was a mage with a plan and not just another gambling addict who actually had nothing else pretty much better to do, showing how how definitely was she going to essentially get out of this one in a really big way. Though she felt trapped she was determined to get out of here, as for everyone else, they seemed to be in too deep and she didn't care if they lived or died. As long as she came out on top.
