Description:
When the very first tree in all of Earthland had its very first autumn and its humongous leaves turned the hues of sunsets, the world stood enraptured by its beauty. Granted, there were a whole lot fewer people back then ... or perhaps there weren’t any people at all. Even so, all living creatures admired the magical color-changing leaves, but then something startling happened! The air got colder and all the brilliant foliage turned a bit brown. How worrisome! Even worse, now the leaves were falling off! Had the First Great Tree died?!

Soon it’d be revealed that this was a natural cycle, but the very first shedding of leaves proved to be quite magical indeed. Each leaf was as tough as steel, becoming nice shields for the humans and elves that found them. Over time most of the First Great Leaves were lost or shattered, but it seems one still remains. How fortunate of it to fall into your lap!





Plot Abilities:

Forever Fall Forest: The user can shake seeds from this very old but magically still living leaf shield. Planting them will quickly grow huge trees that are forever bathed in hues from the height of their autumn glory. With enough patience and diligence, the user can plant whole hearty forests wherever they choose. How environmentally friendly!

Additionally, wherever the user plants at least one tree is a place they can easily return to. When not in combat, trees planted by the user will create doors in their mighty trunks, allowing entrance to a mystical forest that exists in another plane. From here the user can choose another tree to exit from, creating a system of portals for quick travels anywhere the user has planted a tree.

Description: The First Great Leaf has judged the user worthy of its protection for whatever reason. As long as this shield is touching the user’s body somewhere, bark will spread from the large leaf and fully engulf the user in a bark-y suit of armor when the user requires it. The durability of the leaf shield and bark armor restore to full once per post for the duration of this ability, and the magic pulsing from the leaf’s veins smells strongly of cinnamon and buffs the user’s spell durability depending on user rank for the duration of this ability.
