Clarence and his companion Coco what arrive at the graveyard in which the merchant's had been kidnapped at in the middle of the cursed lands. Clarence would standard rest like the homeless man he intended the dress like with his tattoo dirty cloak, this car flipped out the end on his face and on his bandages around his arms. While his Exceed Coco who bloated next to him with her white Wings with black tips at the end of the feathers expanded looking into the graveyard with Clarence. Coco with look at Clarence curiously. " so what are we waiting for let's get in there and save those merchant's." Clarence would pasta second and I'm look back at his companion. " because Coco we have to wait for a backup from saber-tooth to show up." However Coco did not look pleased with this answer. " but they could be in danger right now we can't just sit around and wait for him!" She said in protest. Clarence would sigh and nod. "Your right, on that note however we are not going to wait for them before we do any drastic actions, I was hoping you'd be willing to fly up in Scout ahead why I will to you eyes so we can see what we up against or at least see what the graveyard looks like so we can navigate it easier." His response seem to have ease her a little bit. " fine better than sitting here doing nothing I suppose I'll Scout you wait for him you got a till when he gets here so I can come back here." He would give a small not and without she would fly up into the air and over the fence getting a birds Eye view of the graveyard. Clarence is eyes would start to glow a little bit very almost subtly. " Coco with them begin speak into his mind while he waited and he watched to her eyes. "Clarence this placing to go on forever and ever how we going to find the merchant in all this?" She would ask us she is flooded around nearby the entrance but high enough to get a good deal of the whole place. "I don't know, but right now we just doing me come a think about that once our ally gets here yeah?" She sounded more willing now as she spoke " yeah...sounds good" she says back mentaly. They were continue to Scout out the area until the one from saber-tooth arrived.

Man oh man, why did it always had to be like that? Every time. Every time he took any kind of transportation. Dear lord he felt like he was going to po puke his guts out any moment now. No matter how much he tried to produce a toxin in his body to try and choke out that nasty motion sickness feeling welling up in his insides, it was still there.

Tyson took a moment to rest by leaning on the side of a building. Thankfully, the nausea was going to subside in due time, but it still was not funny. It never was. It would be a good five minutes before the Dragon Slayer would be feeling good enough to do anything but wishing to die. He took that opportunity to check his new armor. Ivory Fang, he called it. Well, that is what Alma called it. He had absolutely no idea how the guy managed to get his hands on bones and scales of his old dragon.

It fit like a glove. Tyson did not know if the armor was sentient or not, but perhaps it was due to being made of the bones and scales of a dragon. It sure had some weird abilities. Like, he scratched a piece of it as an accident and as soon as he picked that thing up it could feel the armor drain his mana. Moments later and the armor was fixed. Well, that sure would come in handy. Tyson took but a minute to fiddle with his gloves and boots just to make sure he would not trip over himself.

Then, he would remember that he had an actual appointment...and that he couldn't afford being late. He quickly scurried over to the cemetery that would be his starting point. He had been told that he would be covering a support role for the other mage that would be there. Sure enough, there he was.

"Hey there!" He called, hopping over. "Tyson. Tyson Rhodes. I'm from Sabertooth." He quickly introduced himself to the other mage. "I'm your support."

There, introduction done. Now onto the more important stuff. Tyson wasn't one to stand around if innocents were harmed. "So, do we know anything about this? Black magic, necromancy? What are we dealing with?"

It looked like they would need to get their hands dirty. Tyson wondered what kind of mage could be behind all that commotion. Maybe they'd be able to capture him? Whoever was creating the problem, Tyson was fairly sure that the Rune Knights would totally love to have the guy over for a nice long chat.

Clearance would see a man walking up to him as sand up again mentality messaging Coco briefly.  "Our backups here…why don't you return yeah." He would say as his eyes would stop glowing now looking at him curiously.  The man would waste no time introducing himself as a man named Tyson Rhode a Sabertooth mage. Clearance would take a moment to answer scanning him as he asked for what Clearance knew about the situation.  " My name is Clearance...let' just stick to that for now and i'm not one hundred percent sure but necromancy isn't off the table...I have my companion scouting right-" he would get cut off by his exceed swooping down next to him, which was good now she could do some talking and save him the trouble.

The exceed would hover there looking at him briefly "Tyson Rhodes huh hmmmm" she took her own moment examining him before smiling. "Coco good to meetcha I'll assume this guy filled you in so now that your here we can get a move on!" She said nodding before looking back at Clearance floating over hovering next to him.  "So from what I can tell there is a main path through the graveyard that clearly screams of danger but there aren't any others unless we deviate from the path…" she said looking at them both.  Clearance wound just nod a little. "Then I would suggest we follow the main path way then yeah?"  He would say looking at the Sabertooth mage.

Clearance didn't know how to proceed inn the best fashion right now.  This mage before him was a unknown factor.  He knew none of his talents or abilities which didn't set his mind at ease in the situation any more then it was.  However he was sure he could fight otherwise why would he be here.  Having that little piece of mind he would give a small sigh of relief.  "Would you like to lead or should I...and if you could tell me how you fight and such it would help…" he said calmly looking at him before turning back looking at the eerie graveyard now taking a breath waithi g to see which of them was going to take point before moving in.

Save the Merchants! Empty Re: Save the Merchants!

Post by Tyson Rhodes 29th May 2019, 2:13 am

Tyson glanced up at the weird companion. He simply waved his hand as asalute before returning his attention to the problem at hand. There were merchants to be saved.

The main road is the most dangerous but also the only way through the cemetery. Hm, intresting. As they began venturing deeper and deeper, searching for any signs of suspicious activity, Tyson took a moment to study the cemetery and the various monuments that lied within.

Moss-laden marble pillars stood as despairing guards on either side of the cemetery threshold. Behind the ancient wrought-iron gates were rows upon rows of crumbling gravestones. Gnarled trees hunched over most of the expanse, plunging the rest in shadow. The place echoed with painful grief and the emptiness of heartfelt loss. Clearly old and decadent, the place had seen better days, one would wonder  the time when the last known visitor had shown up.

Tyson delved deeper in the wretched path of despair before him, pretty pleased to have solid boots on his feet to not get annoyed by the small yet somewhat sharp little rocks paving their way. He had but a moment to wonder how would the clawed design fare in battle before the echoes of a crow snapped the mage back to reality.  By now they were deep inside the cemetery. He could see way more tombs than before.

Indeed, rows of tombstones stood erect in silence to the left and right, in front and behind, like a sea of the dead. Some were crumbled with the weathering of centuries, some were smooth marble with new black writing and laid with floral tributes. The byproduct of old protection spells. He could feel their presence through the Weave. Those tombs probably weren't going to be of any use to them. In those moment of quiet meditation Tyson's head was hard at work. He had begun to formulate a hypothetical scenario that could explain the missing merchants. If they were seen entering but not exiting then there must have been something inside that graveyard that caused their impromptu disappereance.

As far as he was concerned, he believed there was either a teleport spell hidden around somewhere or one of these tomb wasnt a tomb and was instead a secret passage to somewhere else. Possibly a dungeon, possibly something worse. When the mage stopped walking, the other gave him a question to answer. Him? Take the lead? Was this guy for real? Perhaps he had not been briefed about him. That seemed to be the case when the second question arrived. Well first thing first...

Tyson hopped off the beaten path just a couple of meters to the left, squatting down to observe a gravestone that to him looked suspicious. "I'm a support mage and as far as the legal papers are concerned I my role around here is to support you." He replied, not taking his eyes off of the gravestone. "As per how I fight, let's just say my magic is beneficial to us and rather toxic to them."

There was no reason to reveal his slayer origin. There could be people around trying to eavesdrop on them. By all intents and purposes they were deep inside enemy territory. They couldn't afford to share crucial details about themselves. If the probable enemy behind the kidnapping caught up on their magical prowess they would be in big trouble.

Tyson turned around to get a good look on the other mage. "And as much as I would like being the hero my job here today is to be your babysitter and that is exactly what I am going to be doing. So buckle up mr saviour 'cause we have alot of work to do and things to cover." He stated, grinning beneath Ivory Fang's mouth guard. Hopping off back on his feet once he was satisfied with his tombstone examination, he gave his coworker a pat on the shoulder.

"Alright then first things first we need to find some clues around the area. Imma go this way, you go the other way. If you find anything just lemme know alright? Just give me a whistle or something. If we don't find anything of particular importance in this area of the graveyard we'll meet back up here in about half another so you can tell me what's our next step."

Before the other mage could have any say on the matter,  the sabertooth salyer turned on his heels and walked off in his stated directing at a confident pace with an almost cocky demeanor. He didn't seem to think he was in danger of being attacked or at the very least, he didn't seem to show it.

Clarence would walk with Tyson and with Coco floating next to him. Though Clearance was keeping his cool Coco wasn't about it though her cheeks slightly puffed up at his cocky swagger. Clarence would look around the graveyard for a brief moment as he walked doing probably when his companion was doing as well trying to find any soda semblance of what happened to the emergence of and rags to hear since that's the least he knew where they were here. However any moment of his search was cut off as a herding His companion talk for a moment. Hearing his magic makes clearance slightly worried though he didn't vocalize it or show it really since you said he was a support Mage Clarence wasn't all that much of an upfront fighter himself so having two people in the back made him slightly concerned but he would have to make it work out though hearing how he's heading toward talks to his enemies he can only assume he did some sort of acidic Magic which made him even more Curious and you would have been content with just that simple answer however is companion kept talking. His next phase. The Coco more than they got him however looking down at him he was more confused why he said it more than anyting. He mentioned how he was Clarence his babysitter and it was his job to keep Clarence alive. Well grateful clients didn't think he need a babysitter he was hoping to have more of a partner relationship with this man than a I want to watch over your relationship however this didn't seem to be the case. However once again you will not vocalises unlike His companion who got a little more flared up than him. "hey who you think we are we don't need a babysitter!" Coco would say in a bit of a huff Crossing her arms she floated they're looking at him before any kind of more protests could happen he began to speak again. He would state they should split up and go opposite directions to find clues. Clearance would just stare at him unable to say anything as her turned on his heels and walked off leaving him and Coco alone.

They would stand there a minute as Coco looked to Clearance. "He says he is our babysitter but walks off without us like that who is this guy!" She huffed looking to Clearance. He just sighed shaking his head. "I don't know but for now let's just look around yeah…" he said still try to process it himself as he did what he was told and walked the other way. It would have been easy enough to send the man a message through a wire but why bother at this point.

Clarence would walk through the grave stones looking around breifly. At a glance this place was just another spooky graveyard...however tge magical presence he could sense was strong and could geel it a bit stronger here but he wasnt sure where it was coming from. Coco would float next to him " Clearance im getting a bad vibe here…" she would say as he nodded. He could feel something was off as well when he noticed something weird.

He saw a piece of what looked to be nee cloth hanging on a tomb door like it had been ripped of a sleeve. He would walk closer and lean on looking at it curiously as he grabbed it picking it up. There was no way to tell if iw as a merchants bit it was new enougb where is was a dead persons.

However his thoughts would be inturuped as he heard dirt shifting behind him. Turning atound corpses started coming out of the ground. Cleatance could see many of them one per grave being summoned as he had his back to the tomb. Coco eveys were wide ut before anything could be done ahe would fly behind Clearance and hoist him into the air. As the undead ran right under him clawing at him savagely. Clearance looked at Coco nodding. " thank you my friend now lets destroy these and check on ojr ally yeah…" he would say flying up a bit higher seeing a few more running over as they started to throw things. He would grab a bit of sulphur and magnesium from his pouch and ball it up as he pulled out his spell book muttering the word Fireball as a large ball of fire flew down from the sky touching the area and the corpses no doubt being able to be seen for a good distance. "Lets hurry Coco" he would say hoping there allu wasn't in trouble Clearance was lucky he could fly but being hoarded on the ground would be bad.

Post by Tyson Rhodes 31st May 2019, 12:43 pm

Oh wow, it sure got crowded all of a sudden. Well, good thing and bad thing. Good thing: he could stop looking for clues. Bad thing: there are alot of baddies around now.

Tyson slowly turned around to face the zambamboos. He let his hands fall on his hips as he got in a cocky pose, grinning beneath his mask. "Well well...someone here is eager for some butt kicking. Well then uglies, get in a line over here!"

Three two one, showtime! Tyson only waited for the first undead to approach to spring into action. The Slayer sidestepped first on the left, then the right to avoid two lunge attempts. The third one would promptly stopped by the Slayer through a powerful kick. From the first body smacking the ground, chaos ensured.

Two enemies. One left the other behind. Tyson clashed with his forearms first, blocking. Then, a sweeping motion. The other enemy charged. A powerful punch center of mass to get the zombi to bend over. Tyson used the dead as a table to swivel his body around and kick a corpse so hard its head flew off. Once over the bent over undead, Tyson backflipped once. He backflipped twice. He thought he had put some distance, but he was suddenly grabbed by behind. Once of the zombies bit his shoulder, or tried to. Tyson could feel the pressure, but his armor absorbed the bite.

Using his elbow, he smacked the dead's forehead. It was enough to get the thing off of him. He would need to use the moment where the corpse recoiled to his advantage. He kicked an old shovel laying there up in the air. One spin of the thing and he caught it. Pang goes the metal onto a zombie's chest. Pong goes the shovel and crack goes a putrid skull.

Tyson evaluated his situation. His magic would be no good there, not his primary mode of attacking. The dead were already dead. They didn't feel pain. They didn't feel fear. And he couldn't kill already dead things. He could only destroy. Oh well, cqc would do.

Tyson dug his feet claws in the ground for extra grip. Second wave was coming. Shovel head would be used to block one swing. Spin the tool behind to cover the rear from another swipe. Aim low and hook a leg. Pull. As one body falls on the floor, others trample over it. Not good. The things kept going.

"Alright boys, now you're being obnoxious." Tyson huffed, still fairly confident in his fighting prowess. The shovel was thrown to impale a zombie through the chest. Block one lunge, grab the arm, snap it. Stomp on leg, snap the leg. Push one guy too close away. Slap away a grab attempt. Parry-riposte another bite by smacking the zombie's head.

Alright, Tyson had to admit there were alot of zombies there. Who the hell would be able to summon this many? He had no moment to breathe. He barely noticed a figure flying above. Oh great. The other guy was bailin and he needed to do all the dirty work uh? Alright.

The Dragon Slayer increased the speed of his attack, as well the brutality of his strikes. He wasn't going for the gut or chest anymore. Any arm he could break, he would break. Any leg he could snap he could snap. But most importantly, he should focus on the heads. Destroy the heads and you kill the zombie. That was like, basic knowledge of necromancy.

As such, the Slayer would go ahead and smash a skull onto a slab of marble. Run for the shovel again. He was losing count of just how many he had dealt with and how many still were there. Still, he couldn't let up. The moment he stopped moving he'd get overwhelmed. Maybe it was time to stop trying to be smug and think of a plan B and a getaway.

A couple of zombies managed to throw themselves at the Slayer's legs. No good. First punch the third one coming. Now onto the two on his legs. He had soft boots there and not hard armor, so he needed to get them off as soon as possible. Using the shovel, he literally banged the zombi's skull until he managed to smash it in. With one leg free, he used his feet claw to kick the other one away. Man that was close. He almost got bit there. One of the zombies actually managed to get him on the ground. Good thing he was able to overpower the undead and slip away before the enemies could pile on him.

He forced his way though the corpses, reaching for a higher place. He'd need to play king of the hill, but he wouldn't be constantly surrounded at the very least. With his new trusty weapon in his hands, Tyson prepared himself for the third wave. Man, who could guess that a shovel would be such a great weapon? Well, the enemies he was fighting weren't exactly the pinnacle of danger...as long as he managed to get them all in a line. One by one, zombies are really easy to deal with. It the numbers that make it all difficult.

Didn't look like he'd have to deal with many more guys, though he wouldn't mind some help from the Fairy Tail mage. He was beginning to run out of breath...

Clearance would get there at the tail end of his fight. The boy had skill but he shined more when he stopped trying to have so much swagger about him. Either way Clearance looked to Coco and telepathically began to speak. "Coco land me next to him…" he would say seeing not only zombies coming in the next wave but hearing them in the distance from where they came from. Though she would protest. "Clearance you two can't fight a horde…" she said glaring. He sighed and smiled. "I have a idea just prepare the double dash so we can get the main road yeah?" He said as she reluctantly nodded reaching into his pouch grabbing some seeds. Coco would then fly above Tyson and drop Clearance before flying off knowing what she needed to do. Though she dropped him it be from a height he could land from.

As he landed he was already aware of the situation they were in. First priority was getting them out and dealing with the zombies. They weren't tough there were just so many of the damn things that they would overwhelm there enemies. Either way he would take another moment to look at Tyson who was panting about as more started to run towards them. " we have to go…" Clearance would pull out his spell book and throw some sesame seeds into the air behind him. As he did he quickly muttered a few words as said the phrase "Passwall." As he said that the seeds spread apart. And glowed purple as then a purple swirling portal appeared. " Lets go hurry." He said call just more in a haste as they closed in. Clearance wasted no time going into his portal as a second would go by and Tyson would go through as well. As Tyson went through that end would shut and they would appear three hundred meters away from them getting some distance.

Coco would by now be high in position watching through Clearances eyes and listening through him for his spell. As he would cast Passwall she would then on her end do the same at there exit point using his energy. He eyes glowed for a minute as she casted the spell. As she threw the seeds anther portal from here to the road would appear right as his disappeared. The transition between portals would barley be noticed as they were on the streets with the horde now running towards them. Clearance without a word stepped a bit closer to all the zombies that had been summoned there and quickly reached into his belt pulling out some phosphorus and holding out his hand. He would the blow the phosphorus out of his hand into the air and as he did the would mutter the words "Wall of Fire."

As he casted the Wall of Fire it would stretch out about one hundred and fifty meter across the graveyard in front of them. They attempted stop but a few could not as the got scorched and feel the the ground charred. The rest stood there trying to figure out what to do from here. As the wall stood there burning Clearance would turn to Tyson a red glow behind him. " Now that we have a moment I found this cloth near a tomb over that way...considering its state I think it belongs to our merchants." He said as Coco now floated next to him. He would look at Coco patting the exceeds head. "You did good Coco" he would say as she smiled a bit to the praise keeping her confident look however. "Let me show you.."he said glancing back seeing the zombies still at bay. He gave a sigh of relief as he started to walk towards the tomb where he had found the cloth.

Around the tomb there where charred corpses from Clearances bout with them earlier. However he would then point to a white tomb. " in there is where I found it...it may be nothing but it is the closest thing I have found to a lead." He said as he walked towards it looking around. " I can send Coco into scout ahead or we can just go the choice is up to you." he said leaving him this choice wanting to see what he does. Caleb knew what he would do and wanted to do, however he was willing to play the fool to learn about him.

Oh well, it looks like the other mage was not a total pushover. The wall of fire was quite impressive.  If anything, it would one hundred percent stop the horde from getting to him. Then he was dragged into a portal of sort towards some place within the huge cemetery. No zombies, not yet at the very least.

"Well, I did not ask for the help..." the Slayer stated, dusting his armor off. "But it is appreciated." He added, even though his pride was somewhat tarnished. Oh well, it was not like anyone else was looking at them other than the possible bad guy responsible for the undead swarming around the place. That guy Tyson was not worried about in the slightest. He'd kick his ass so hard he would forget the Poison Slayer had to bail on a bunch of zambambaroos.

Tyson looked down at the cloth in Nadarr's hand. He said he had found the piece laying somewhere around the white marble tomb. He also seemed to be somewhat confident that thing was actually ccoming from one of the merchants he needed to save. Well, nothing to do but examine it to see if what the Fairy Tail mage was saying was right or not.

The Sabertooth raised a hand and took the cloth strip from the other mage's grasp. He raised it up high, trying to see if there was some kind of logo or motif etched into the piece. That would be the easiest thing to look for for a quick one and done examination. All in all though, the cloth piece didn't seem to be anything special. It would be hard to find something just by looking at a few strands of cloth.

Tyson held the thing in his hand back at Nadarr, taking a moment for himself. He needed to catch his breath for just a moment. Then, he could mull over the info he was given and come up with a plan of action. The cloth wasn't too decayed. That meant that it would not be coming from the tattered remains of an undead body. That was good, at least one thing could be ruled out. Now, it could still be one of two things. It could be part of the mage behind all this, or part of the getup of one of the merchants. He could not feel any kind of disturbance nor presence within the Weave when he held the thing in his hands. That meant the piece they had in their possession did not possess any kind of magical property what so ever.

While a nudge in the right direction, it didn't rule out any of the remaining two options. Not all mages wore magical clothes. Hell, the only reason he was wearing a fancy ass Artifact Armor was only because Alma had given it to him. Stuff like that was expensive. Not normal expensive, but shakalaka expensive, as his Guild Ace Imai would put it. It was surely stuff out of the reach of many.

Nadarr said he found it from the white tomb though. That has to mean anything. Now, perhaps, the merchant were trying to escape and that piece got stuck in something. That could logically explain why Nadarr and Coco had been able to discover and retrieve it. "You said you found it here uh?" Tyson mumbled, walking over to the marble tomb.

It was bigger than all the others. It stuck out of that decrepit graveyard like a sore thumb. The Poison Dragon Slayer would bet his powers it was the tomb for a noble family. Like his previous reasoning with the cloth, tombs like these would not be within everyone's reach. "Mind if I take a look while you keep guard?" He told his partner as he walked closer to the burial ground. "If you see any zambambarooo, you let me know."

Once again, he did not wait for a reply to start doing his own thing in the corner. "Man, this thing is huge. Nice job finding it by the way. Are you sure you are not the one behind all of this?" Tyson casually commented with a chuckle. He would not rule it out, but Nadarr being behind all this was the most improbable and the least sound of any of the theories he had crafted today. Alright well, how to go about this? Hm. First, he coud give the whole thing a once over. Yeah, that sounded like the best thing to do.

So, did he find anything of notice? Not really. Well then, if a general examination was not going to cut it, he would try to spot some deta-wait. Wait.

    ...

    Wait just a second there.

    ...

    Was that...

    ...

Okay, so he was not dreaming or imagining things. He could feel fresh air coming from the huge marble slab functioning as a sealed door to the tomb. "Oi! Nadarr! I found something!" He shouted out loud behind his back. Once the other mage approached, Tyson pointed to the part in the slab that leaked air. "There, right there! Feel it? Air."

The Slayer was all giddy now. "Looks like we found our merchants!" He declared matter of fact-ly. "Either they tried to hide here from the horde of dead bodies we encountered, or they got imprisoned there. Either way, that's why you found the strip of cloth around there!"

Tyson stretched. "Alright, alright, alright! Let us put an end to this search and rescue mission. You will probably will need to find the bad guy behind the zombie too, but it does not seem to be around here at all. As much as I want to kick his ass, we will have to settle as saviors of the merchants for now. Step aside, these guns is all we need to bust in this tomb. I bet my soul we will find a secret passage inside it."

Tyson showed his biceps with confidence, waiting for his partner to clear the space. "A big fucking hole, coming right up!" He shouted, lowering his body into a puching stance, only to reel back and charge up the strongest puch he could muster. He would have to get a little help, but his own lineage and powers would be more than what would be needed to snap that white marble slab in a million different pieced.

    *Bwaaam! Crumbling noises of rubble*

"See? Easy." Tyson stated, grinning. "What did I tell you?" He added, pointing at the stairs leading down somewhere. "I bet if we go down there, we will find our merchants...and once we do, you can do another of your portal thinghies and get them all back home safe. Sounds like a plan? Sound like a plan."

Tyson happily began to hop down the stairs humming a happy tune without a care in the world. He was already tasting the red completion stamp in his record and with every stamp, he'd be able to increase his notoriety around the world. Hell, the council seemed to be already intrested in him. Better keep them all happy. He would not want to give them a reason to doubt their decision to make him a Rising Star.

They arrived into a huge underground crypt. It was somewhat lit with torches on the walls . Mossy briks and a slight stench of humid were all the things special about it. Like the white marble slab up above, Tyson had little problems smacking down the gate separating them from the group of merchants tied up on the ground. Man, they even had them blindfolded.

"Alright people, fear not!" Tyson declared, walking into the crypt. "Your saviours have arrived. Now stay calm and do not fret. You all will be out of here by dinner."

The Sabertooth mage glanced backwards towards Nadarr, to see if the other mage had followed him inside. Either way, the slayer would hurry over the relieved merchants to quickly undo the knots tying them. He would still keep his senses sharp, just in case that was going to be a trap. It did not seem so. Well, it was a trap for the merchant, but not anymore.

It would take him just a little over ten minutes to finally manage to untie and unblindfold all of the merchants around there, considering they were a pretty hefty sized group.

"There we go, all done. Now, if you would please listen to my friend here Nadarr and his partner Coco, they will escort you all out."

Clarence would look at all of them as walking down the stairs into the crypt.  It was barely wet in musky down here spider webs and Bones white everywhere and it was no place for anyone let along all the merchants that were down there .  It was truly a frightening sight down here as it seems like it was actually made for the undead divestiture however it also seems like it was made into a makeshift holding area  by someone or something for the time being though it would only be a temporary holding area by the looks of it . There were about a dozen scared Merchants that will all hold together inside the Crypt as he looked at them all as they all looked at them and his partner had enough said he would get them out of there now putting the spotlight on him which made him even more worried but at the same time he would give us a try and walk over to one of them cocoa deciding to go back up and keep watch in case any more zombies where to come up and try to stop them. As he walked over to them they would cower in a bit of fear as he put his hand up slowly and put his Spellbook away looking at all of them before beginning to speak.." it's okay we're here to rescue you we're going to get you out of here do you know what captured you in the first place?" As he would have asked he would see that they were all almost too afraid to speak as they quiver in fear and they try to motor out some words however none of them could seem to get any sort of speech out as he wood then briefly looked through his companions eyes to make sure it was safe outside. Seeing that they were no position to talk they at least had to get them out of here that was the objective objective wasn't did find whoever did this was just simply to save the merchants and that's what he was going to do the authorities are the cables could figure that out that present his job and he didn't want it to be his job. The only reason he would want this task is because he doesn't want any more Merchants to get captured by the undead however there's nothing to do about it at this time as he didn't have any mental spells help calm them down. With that in mind he would begin to leave them out but he would try to catch up to His companion briefly as he led them out not wanting to get separated or anything of that nature is Cat being the exception because she could fly away if needed.  As clearance caught up with the names he would begin to think about how he did today in about what happened while he had some bravado about him he wasn't completely useless in a fight and he was able to hold his own which was good though he feared his attitude might get him into a bit of trouble but that wasn't his department and he was certainly not want to charge on social standards or practices. As he caught up to him he would look at him and take a deep breath before speaking trying to formulate his words before speaking them not wearing a trip over himself. " the merchants are too afraid to talk but I'm sure once I come down I'll be willing to give information, I trust if you hear anything you let me know and I will do so vice versa?" He said only taking a quick look at him before looking back towards a pathan out towards the entrance of where they walked in seeing the endless darkness and the rest of the graveyard as he waited for an answer from His companion that he was working with.

Tyson walked all the way back to the Mission office with a grin on his face, despite his features being hidden by Ivory Fang's face guard. He had to put up with some kind of weirdo guy, but in the end it all went rather well. They could not find who spawned the undead or trapped twelve merchants, but their main objective had been completed.

The whole group was still in shock and Tyson could not blame them for it. He would have loved to question them all about the nature of their captor, but doing that would only make things worse. This time, the guy would get away with it. Tyson was not one to just quit though. He would come back to that cemetery alone to find his answers.

"Alright people, pile on in, I am pretty sure our friend at the counter there wants to confirm every one of your identities. We would not want to have some snitch inside out merry little group now yeah?" That and the mission hub coordinator would have to confirm these were not just some random dudes picked up from the streets. It would take a while to go through all the stuff, but Tyson was not worried at all. He spent his time waiting for the whole process to go down by writing his report on what happened in his mission. As soon as he was back to the Guild Hall, he would have to submit it as part of his resume. All Sabertooth guild Members needed to document their official mission stuff. The higher ups would not be pretty happy if you did something bad instead of doing what you were actually supposed to do. He didn't see that happen and did not know of it happening, but you never can be too sure.

He would spring up as soon as his referee for the mission came down the stairs. He heard him talking a little about the merchants being all fine and verified before rumaging through a file cabinet. A red stamp on the mission's recruitment paper and Tyson was off with a way heavier wallet. That and the fact that those twelve merchant would for sure spread around the news that the slayer freed them. Well, technically...Clarence was there too. Tyson did not see him around, so he guessed that the other mage had already gathered his stuff and went back home. Oh well, as weird as he was, it had been a nice fun adventure.

With that done, it was time for the Slayer to dedicate himseld to something a little more challenging. He was sure the Magic Council would send their Exam Letter soon.

He could not wait. He was ready.

    Bring It.
