There are quite a few different brands of crackers in Fiore, all with slightly different recipes and flavors. It's a cut throat business that just got more cut-throatier. Eebler Kelf caught wind of a recipe Banisco came up with that drove test taster's wild. It's a true threat to their slowly waning business, so they've decided to get serious and solicit some help.

Blanche has handed down a dossier concerning the newest job. Esper has considered her department carefully. Contrary to most directors' likely decision processes of choosing the operative by skillset and the highest chance of success, Esper has decided to use it as an opportunity for growth. Hidden Blades needs well rounded operatives that are all equally capable to tackle any task, right? Maybe if it was something world shakingly important she'd decide differently, but this was literally just crackers. Still, she expected excellence or else The Chairman might spank her...or maybe it was that very reasoning that led her to choose Cetus for this~

The job is straight forward, but challenging. The operative is to secretly infiltrate Banisco's office/cracker factory and steal the new recipe. The factory has all the highest quality of security technology and guards, no windows, and only two doors that are heavily guarded. The only way inside is by pretending to work there, fooling all the people encountered, and extracting the location of the recipe without raising suspicion, then steal it and get back out without anyone noticing. That's it.

The catch is Eebler Kelf isn't willing to shoulder the guilt of filling a graveyard over cracker business, so it is stressed that the operative can only kill one person should it become critical to maintaining the secrecy of both the mission and HB/the client's involvement. Said single allowed death should also be made to flawlessly appear as an accident. Any extra deaths or deviations will result in Eebler Kelf washing their hands of the whole thing and no one gets paid.

Despite raising suspicions that it was clearly a robbery and causing Banisco to frantically point fingers at all the different cracker companies as well as wonder who they might have hired to steal the recipe, it's seen as mostly a success.

Esper might want to have a word with Cetus about learning the finer aspects of working for Hidden Blades. There are times it must seem like no one was ever there at all, and this wasn't one of those times.
