Personality: Odette’s personality has a habit of not matching her appearance in the least. Burdened by the ability to see through the falsehoods of others and from practically raising herself Odette is a precocious girl, proud of her maturity and independence. On the outside, she seems to not care what other people think of her. She puts up airs of fearlessness around all and hates being looked down upon.

In reality, she is as scared as any other young girl forced to be out on her own but still hates asking others for help. She is constantly nervous around other people and easily feels inferior to anybody who seems even slightly better at her at anything, which makes her struggle to grow as a person since she always compares herself to others. The fact she can see through lies makes her relationships with others even worse since she hates all types of lies, even white ones, despite having no qualms about lying herself, a hypocrisy she is well aware of. All of this makes her standoffish to others at first and hard for others to get to know her. But despite all of this her animal companion Haven is the only one she has ever felt truly comfortable around and a valued teammate and comfort to her, and no matter how better or worse the beast is compared to ehr, Odette's complex does not trigger.

But while she may be bitter for her age Odette, of course, has positive things to her personality though she often tries to hide it. She has a great sense of equality and hates bullies, making her always willing to stand up for what she feels is right and wanting to defend others. Her self honesty also makes it easier to see others perspectives and troubles to empathize with them. She also has a surprising amount of spunk and a love of good-natured sass. She also enjoys it when others depend on her and likes to take care of people and things when she has the chance. And while below the mask she is easily scared and intimidated, Odette always tries to push through for the important things. And despite her stubborn need to be one her own Odette wants friends and companionship just as much as anyone else her age, stopping her from being a lone wolf and to seek people out she thinks she may get along with. The easiest way to get her to show this soft side if by befriending her constant companion Haven who is only slightly less suspicious then it's mistress.

In terms of leadership Odette’s inferiority complex makes it hard for her to lead unless she is sure she is better than the ones she’d leading. This is obviously not the best trait in a leader making her generally bad in the position. Unfortunately, her complex and natural need to feel independent makes it hard for others to lead her at times unless she can get over her lack of self-esteem to respect them and their orders. When it comes to teamwork Odette is best when she feels like her teammates are not coddling her and have equal respect for her skills as she does them, making this the best type of work for her.

In battle, if she is confident and has Haven near her, she can beat her opponent or has faith in the team she’s with Odette smashes through her enemies with a fiery determination. But if she has even a little bit of doubt in herself or gets separated from Haven that determination has a habit of easily faltering, causing her to overthink and get nervous, inevitably causing her to mess up, which may spiral if she’d not too careful. Overall her fighting style is surprisingly aggressive.

• Cute things. For all that Odette tries to seem tough, she has a great love for all things cute, which she feels highly embarrassed about when it’s pointed out, but everyone agrees fits her image
  
• Animals. Her dearest companion Haven in particular. Mostly since they can’t lie and are easy to read. But also since she finds all animals universally cute
  
• Sports. For a cute small girl, Odette is actually a fan of all kinds of sports, both participating in and watching. This includes magical fights of course
  

Dislikes:

1. Being a damsel in distress. Not only does this take away her feeling of being independent it also makes her inferiority complex worse
   
2. Liars. Odette hates lairs of all types and it’s easy for her to spot one due to her ability
   
3. Bullies. She hates bullies of all types and becomes very aggressive in front of one
   

Motivations:

• Become strong and rich enough so that she never needs to depend on anybody and to keep Haven comfortable
  
• Find her place in life and friends she can trust
  
• Become a better version of herself since she knows the current one isn’t all that great
  

Fears:

• Becoming totally dependent on someone goes against everything she is
  
• Being alone. For all her need to stand on her own two feet she is afraid of this getting in the way of finding true happiness with others
