Description: Nyx Chaotica is a chaos magic that incorporates scattered elements of shadow magic. It's a very brutal, forceful magic, literally intended to tear worlds apart. It even affects its users mind, pushing them to break all the rules, push past their limits. Wipe the world away entirely- after all, see how bad it is? It's a very dangerous magic to use, but if used right, it can actually do a lot of good.
Catrinette is constantly fighting a mental battle when using this magic, trying not to slip and lose control. She does her best to hold the magic back, curbing its destructive tendencies. However, she certainly tends to use it to cause a lot of damage, both to her opponents and the environment, although the latter is more of an unfortunate side-effect. Also unfortunately, Nyx Chaotica is a wild magic that can sometimes even backfire on the caster, especially when they try to constrain it.

- Mana Malfunction: Mana power behaves strangely around the caster of Nyx Chaotica. The caster gains a 25% increase to MP, and recovers 5% MP per post/turn. Additionally, every other post/turn 5% MP will be drained from a random opponent within 30 m of the caster. During combat only, if there is no opponent within that range, the caster will be drained by 5% MP instead, and will not recover any MP that post/turn.

Description: Within the area of the spell it begins to rain- in reverse! Droplets rise out of the ground and shoot to the sky. But it doesn't really look like water. More like some black, toxic sludge. Probably not the best idea to touch. In addition to being damaged, opponents within range get a 50% physical resistance debuff, and the caster gains a 50% strength buff.

Description: A glowing red symbol appears on a visible part of the target's body. The target receives a 50% strength debuff, as well as general bad luck until the end of the spell's duration. Be it slipping and falling, or their attacks all being off-line, something is bound to go wrong. OOC permission is required for the bad luck effect on this spell to affect a player-character, player-owned NPC, or event NPC.

Description: Blackness spreads through the spell's area, making the whole range seem extremely dark, meaning visibility is extremely low. All opponents within range are immobilized for 1 post/turn. While in this dark area the user gains an 85% spell damage buff, and all opponents receive a 50% speed debuff.

Description: The caster shoots a bolt of pure chaos energy toward the target. If struck, the target takes 45 HP per post for the spell's duration. In addition, the target will be filled with self-doubt, lowering their focus and causing a 50% spell damage debuff. OOC permission is required for this spell to alter a player-character, player-owned NPC, or event NPC's state of mind. The debuff, however, remains regardless.

Description: The chaos energy in this spell begins tearing up the landscape within its range- trees, rocks, even chunks of the ground itself- throwing various shrapnel in the air. Because of the force of the energy propelling such shrapnel, each time someone is hit with it they are dealt 45 HP of damage. This can hit and damage the caster or their allies.
